I am a full time mother and part time writer. I live in a small country town in Victoria Australia. I have been writing ever since I learned to read, and almost endlessly drifting off into the fantasy world of my imagination.
Thankfully, I have a great group of supporting writer friends; a husband and three; currently small children who help keep me grounded.
When I’m not day dreaming of creating new worlds for my stories or madly typing away on my laptop. I have plenty to keep me busy on the home front.
I welcome feedback from my readers so please feel free to drop me a line at:
Jane (human) is no plain Jane in this book, although she considers herself just that. She is strong, feisty and will kill when necessary. Drystan (alien warrior) and his all other males of Kell have suffered the loss of almost all their women during a war. When Jane accidentally falls through a portal, her life changes forever.
When the destiny of a hole race is in danger of extinction, they will do whatever necessary to ensure their species survival.
When Jane lands in the land of Kell they can't help but hope she is the hope for their survival. But Jane is just plain Jane, she has no way to help these hunk of males find women. Besides how is Jane suppose to help bring women to Kell when there's an enemy determined to end the Kell species?
Good story. I really like that the men kind of have an old medieval feel to them. Quite a few grammatical errors that could/should've been caught by an editor.
I always like stories with ordinary Earth woman and when she travels to another portal/realm she is like a "master" of martial arts or technology hahaha.
I was intrigued by the story and I liked how the heroine was not "stupid". The only thing that bugged me really was how the story was fastly written. I felt that there was not enough time for the hero and heroine to interact.
I am curious about Jane's sister's story. Will it be next?
Read these out of order and a good thing because book 2 was much more fast paced than this one. This is the story of Jane who creates the matchmaking company that gets women to Kell. Just okay.
I liked this book it was very enjoyable. However it was not what I was expecting and I think that is why I am not as enthused by it. This would have been better as a historical romance than an alien one.
