Ral's Woman

Ariel never knew aliens existed until she finds herself kidnapped and taken from Earth. When the Anzon declare humans useless, she learns her fate-prize for the winner of a brutal fight between large, muscled alien men.

Ral is a Zorn warrior. He has also been kidnapped by the Anzon, along with his crew. Forced into slavery, he's got one thing on his mind-freeing his people. That is, until he sees the small human woman he's willing to fight to win. He doesn't just want her body, he wants her heart forever.

In the hands of a hot alien, Ariel is about to discover how pleasurable captivity can be.

Kidnapping Casey

All Casey wants is to avoid being arrested on trumped-up charges from her persistent ex-boyfriend. Running through the woods to escape two deputies sounds like a great plan until they catch her. Thinking it's all over, waiting to hear the snap of the handcuffs, she instead hears a roar. A huge, tall, muscular man comes to her rescue. She's being saved by Bigfoot-and he's the sexiest thing she's ever seen. The attraction between them is instant, and after spending a little time with him, Casey wants to take him home and keep him.

There are a few problems with that plan. He's not the legendary creature, but he definitely isn't human. Argernon is a warrior from Zorn. They do have one thing in common-he wants to take her home and keep her. He's kidnapping Casey.

I had a rather short area here telling a little about me but then I had more than a few people ask me to expand it so... here goes. LOL. I'm a full time home 'supervisor' which is a nice word for saying I'm a housewife. I'm married happily, I met my dream guy 20 years ago, and we have 4 children. I live in Southern California and I can't function without iced coffee. I believe in romance, I've always been a daydreamer, and I'm a HUGE fan of books, always have been.

No, I didn't know that I always wanted to write. I inhaled books as a child. I read entire series (Pippi Longstocking, Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys, Trixie Beldon, The Borrowers, etc) in a matter of days at a time. By the time I was nine years old I had an adult library card where I visited often. I moved on to John Saul, Stephen King, Richard Laymon, Agatha Christie, and then found romance. I was hooked. I wrote poetry in my teens and then moved on to short stories. My first book was started after I read a real bomb of a book that ticked me off with really horrible characters and a plot that was shabby at best and I thought... I could do better. LOL.

I wrote my first book which will probably never see the light of day in the early 90's. I wrote a series of a few books from it. I'm a series fan! I kept writing for fun, wrote MANY books and then in 2009 I decided to try to get published. I wrote my first Sci Fi romance and Ral's Woman came to be. I submitted it and with a little tweaking, Ellorascave sent me an acceptance letter. It was kind of a 'Cinderella' experience for me. It's been a terrific ride so far and I'm really happy that I finally had the time to commit to writing full time. It's a dream come true.

Actually, that's more of a 2.75 but close enough. Yeah; I'm not loving Zorn.

This was actually a twofer.

So Encino Man meets Chewbacca and this is their love child. A somewhat scruffily overgrown dork who speaks trollish (errr, lots of grunts and growls - like a lot of human males, although they can speak English every now and then)

I was sortof Ok with Ral's Woman. The H was not directly responsible for the h's kidnapping, so the decidedly uneven relationship didn't bother me, particularly since she was a prize awarded him by his captors. There were some things that annoyed me a bit - the Zorn escaped, yet refused to even consider taking the various non-Zorn females to their own worlds. The h was upset by this but apparently the magic pen cures all.

Kidnapping Casey though, manages to hit every rude annoyance with culture clash in the romance genre. First off, I absolutely loath it when heroines get tricked/conned/whatever into what passes for marriage by virtue of them NOT KNOWING WHAT IS GOING ON. Second, when a chick is scared and says no, leave her alone! Especially if your not leaving her alone leads to tripping the first annoyance. So having escaped the accusation of rape by virtue of really good foreplay, he marries her by failure to pull out (uh Huh. Right). His excuse - humans are irresistible. Then he kidnaps her. Oh. Right. He can't actually TALK to her (growls a lot) to explain that he just married her without her knowledge. She figures it out at some point and really gets bent. Thus coming to my third annoyance. You know, if I'm not in the mood, watching my man have a date with Rosie isn't going to override that.

Oh. It gets better. He has 3 house helpers (house helper is a euphemism for concubine, btw). Heroine finds out and goes through second sulk. Once again, the magic pen cures all, even the fact that he'd rehomed the 3 (like they were no longer wanted pets. Wow.).

I feel bad for the Zorn women. Really. A human female walks by and suddenly all the neanderthals forget their own, start plotting to rehome any they're responsible (I keep wondering if there's a Zorn animal shelter for stray women).

Ral's Woman
The Anzon’s are searching for females their dying race can successfully breed with. One of the planets they choose to kidnap females from is Earth. Ariel does not know what to do to escape these lizard like people. She always thought Earthlings were alone in the universe. When the Anzon’s declare her useless real fear sets in. What will they do with her now? The cruel Anzon’s have discovered sport in having their Zorn slaves fight for females.

Ral is a male warrior from the planet Zorn who has been kidnapped and forced into slavery by the Anzon’s. He was on a hunting vacation when he and many of his people were caught unaware. Ral wins Ariel in the fight. He is quite pleased with his prize. Ariel soon discovers that Ral is not only the lesser of the two evils, but a very pleasing bed partner who will protect at all costs and possibly get her away from the cruel Anzon’s.

Ral’s Woman is over flowing with very hot erotic sex. Zorn males have a very strong sex drive, thus they must find release often. This makes for a scorching hot read. There is plenty of plot too. Ral is determined not only to free all of his people from the Anzon’s, but to keep his Ariel. Ariel has to adapt to her new home amongst an entire race that see her as a small, weak, inferior female. She shows the Zorn people very quickly that Earth women are willful and tough as nails.

I recommend this read to anyone who likes a good sci fi filled with distant planets, alien races and plenty of hot erotic sex scenes.

Kidnapping Casey
I love language barriers in romances. I think they are extremely sexy. I love reading the couple jump through hoops to get the other to understand what the other wants. Argernon has decided to explore Earth while his fellow Zorn men are looking for willing female Earthlings to take home with them. He had no intentions of seeking one of the tiny weak looking pale humans. The problem is that once he sees Casey he knows that he has to take her home with him.

Casey is running through the woods behind her property trying to escape an inevitable arrest. Her ex just isn’t taking no as a satisfactory answer. He’s the sheriff and has decided abusing his badge to get his ex back is acceptable. Casey is a bit shocked when Bigfoot becomes her would be rescuer.

Did I mention I LOVE language barriers? Argernon and Casey are getting along just fine sexually. She’s a bit shocked that Bigfoot is sexing her up, but hey it’s the best sex of her life and she is not complaining. Her complaints come when they board his ship (which happens to have translators) and he informs her that he is kidnapping her to his home planet. Argernon’s little forgetful slip ups don’t stop there and they keep him in the doghouse. He has a solution to that problem though. He just keeps Casey in a state of sexual bliss to make her forget he should be in the doghouse.

I loved Casey and Argernon. They were fun to read. Between the Bigfoot confusion, the accidental kidnapping, the surprises he has waiting at home, the reader just never knows where the next bumble in this couple happily ever after will fall next.

This is one of the best series that i have read, for it is so beautiful and passionate in its love for the women and how the respond to the Zorn warriors. Its a beautiful story about how love can grow in the strangest of places and at impossible odds… and let not forget, in the hottest throes of passion.

This contains Books 1 and 2 of the Zorn Warriors series, and I purchased each separately, so I am adding this as READ, but not adding an additional rating that would skew other results.
