Although I gave them almost two stars, First Howl and Second Howl are not worth your time to read. Each free story is a single, stand-alone sex scene involving two characters from Books 1 and 2, respectively, of the Granite Lake Wolves series. The 10-page vignettes can definitely be skipped. If you must, the free PDF file can be read online at http://www.vivianarend.com/free by clicking on the respective book covers.

The only information that may be relevant to subsequent novellas (likely stated in subsequent books, anyway) are .

My review for this and the short story after/during this one are going to be short and to the point. This was a super quick, sexy read that takes you back into the Granite Lake Wolves world with no real necessary substance. They can be read as standalones, really, and are done in the blink of an eye. I think I preferred this one to the 2.2 installment, but they are almost equivalent.

This review is for both First Howl & Second Howl

I really enjoyed getting to revisit both of these couples for their first New Years celebration together. Like with the first 2 novels the events in both of these stories run simultaniously so there is some cross over between them but I don't think it would make much difference which order you read them in. I would recommend reading Wolf Signs and Wolf Flight first though.

Both couples have now settled into their places in pack life but they are all happy to take the opportunity for some one to one time to celebrate the new year. I don't want to say much more than that as it would be too easy to give spoilers but I just have to say I'd love to share a picnic with Tad one day! If you're a fan of this series then I'm sure you'll enjoy both of these stories so make sure you check them out.

Read this review on my blog! --> Book Travels

This was a sweet and short novella and we got to see a bit more of the characters from the first book. Since is Christmas and the pack is all about parties, the Alphas decided to enjoy alone time.

I loved Keil and Robyn from the first book of the series and now they have a little girl, so the night alone was a dream coming true. Nice novella.

This was a quick little story that lets us check in with Robyn and Keil. I liked that we got to see what they have been up to, learned that they more than met the challenges that were in front of them and to see the new addition to their family.

WOW, Loved it. Thanks Viv for adding more info to great books. I'm usually not a shifter reader, but these books had a great story line and I really liked them.

This is free from the writers website. It's a great little insight into the after HEA. It's only 9pg but its nice to see the the lives of pack in between books in series.

Just a short sweet quick visit to Robyn and Keil as they celebrate their first New Year’s Eve together.
Now a busy alpha pair and new parents, time for themselves is scarce. Whilst the rest of the pack are partying, playing and celebrating, Keil, with the help of pack babysitters, organises that they get some much needed time for themselves. This means sexy times in the hot tub.
This book is free on the authors website and I love the cover.
