A sweet read in the Hart's crossing series

I liked this collection of novellas. Short, sweet, easy to read before bedtime. I would have liked them even better if they were full-fledged novels and I could have gone deeper into each of the stories, each of the relationships. I particularly appreciated the diversity of love stories: the traditional never-wed singles, the older widowed couple, the divorced mom with a heart to try again, and the married couple realizing their need to rediscover romance as new parents. This was not a surprising volume, full of plot twists or unexpected endings, but it was a fantastic feel-good book, nothing terribly heavy, but not merely fluffy, either. A lot of fun to read and left me wishing there were more.

A collection of novellas, Home to Hart's Crossing is a charming Christian-based work of fiction, focusing on love and marriage in the small town of Hart's Crossing, Idaho.

Another in my attempt to read the books that have been sitting on my shelves the longest, I found the book heartwarming and a quick read.

Sweet and simple enough. A quick read. Nothing real compelling about it, but not a terrible story. The characters are all likable and the individual stories are super short. I love Robin Lee Hatcher and while this isn’t her best work, it is in line with her other stories. Real life problems and drawing closer to God. Would be a good read when you just need to relax and not think too hard.

I couldn't get through it. Normally I'm ok with happy-go-lucky pointless stories, because I enjoy them for entertainment. But this one seemed to go nowhere... slowly... It's also four novelettes in one, and I don't usually like those but I didn't realize that's what it was until it was too late! Anyhow, I don't think I'll be finishing it. Its just not very intriguing or well written.

A sweet small town in Idaho filled with normal people who fall in love and have real relationships with others in their town. 4 charming short stories that all tie together just like small communities often do. Faith in God is a major reason for happy endings and answered prayers guide the main characters in life changes.

I enjoyed the way the four stories were linked with the others even though any of the stories could stand alone. Each novella is a heart-warming romance that also conveys a strong faith message without being preachy.
