This book is set right before the French Revolution. I think it sort of gave a rosy tinted view of the time period/place. ( :
Story wise, it was alright, but not my favourite. (And slightly unfulfilling in some ways)

This is the second book in the Marie trilogy. I love seeing what ballet was like in the 1770s. An entertaining quick read.
