Warm and comforting. A yummy book!

Gary Mehigan has written a cookbook that is actually focused on the food and not his ego. I love the organization of the chapters. The recipes are mainly everyday foods elevated just enough without being intimidating, and each begins with a short paragraph that really makes you hungry to try every recipe. Great photos too.

I read right through it in a day. If you can find this, snap it up.

Probably the best cook book I own. I has many recipes that make sense and are easy to do but just gives you that little extra challenge that might just make your "normal" food look and taste resturant quality! I will say it is the first cookbook I own to give me references in the back of how to make my own mayonnaise, Icecream, stock etc... all the things that I have been curious about that I couldn't just find a "simple"/base recipe for. Love it!!!
