I already knew a lot of what is in this book and have given it 4 stars for the clarity of its directions and yet conciseness (both needed for someone with FM as it is hard to navigate difficult instructions at first). I found the recommendations in the book an have been applying them to mine and my son's life with a great benefit. Highly recommend this if you are new to what FM is and need help making wise dietary choices to reduce the debilitating symptoms of this disease. I would have given it 5 stars except the author had soy products in some of the recipes and I have found that soy is not a good choice for most people (especially unfermented) and certainly not for FM sufferers.

I liked this book because it takes into consideration how difficult/how many steps a dish takes to make, as a person with fibromyalgia often may be in pain or have low energy for making dinner. I also liked that it pointed out a list of ingredients which are good to incorporate for their anti-inflammatory or other helpful properties.
