Three short, feel-good romances about couples reuniting while facing down deadly storms. A nice, quick read that I enjoyed. I'm always a little wary of these novella type stories because it's really hard to fit a well-rounded story into less than 120 pages, but these 3 worked. Sure they might not have been overly complicated or deep, but they were sweet and romantic with a splash of danger added. It's a toss-up which I liked better, Foster's or Kauffman's stories. Both were equally good. Shalvis ...more

A couple of years ago I read the first book in this compilation series and really enjoyed the stories. I was hoping the same could be said for the stories in this book. Let’s take a look…

The first story in this compilation is An Honorable Man by Lori Foster. This story deals with the Air Force a lot and I appreciate the author’s note about how unfamiliar with military life and terminology she was before starting this story, so she did her research. It’s no secret that it’s a p

I usually enjoy compilations, and I really love Lori Foster, but these stories were a bit contrived for me. All three of them were former lovers coming together after a long absence when a storm throws them together once again.

I kind of liked all the writing styles, but the plots just didn't do anything for me.
