The most loyal fans in this or any other galaxy have made "Star Trek: The Next Generation" the most successful first-run syndicated show in history (still on the air in every major U.S. market). Now, just in time for the tenth anniversary of the show's debut, comes the first book to offer complete, in-depth biographies of the series' major stars. 30 photos.
My copy of this I got at a book store about 10 years ago. It was a mess pages were not in order, huge gaps of missing pages and a to of spelling and grammical errors I just couldn't read it
Quick breezy read if you’re a fan of the cast — but with the internet age fully upon us, this book’s usefulness is unclear. If you’re just getting into TNG and haven’t read or watched any cast interviews, this is a handy guide. If you’ve watched even a handful of interviews on YouTube though, you probably already know the contents of this book (and likely in more detail than presented here). Still, I enjoyed reading it!
Probably the worst book to ever be printed. I got this as a gift for my great-aunt when she was on her deathbed. I read it after she passed, and I'm glad she died before she got the chance to read this book.
While this book has a ceiling because of its publishing date (post-Star Trek: First Contact), it is an interesting look in the history of the careers of the TNG cast, as well as other actors associated with the series. This book does contain some personal backgrounds of the actors that I was not familiar with. That said - this book is probably more for the "TV Guide" or "People" magazine crowd. I did enjoy the book, but this is more for those interested in how these actors performed in TV/movies/stage before and during Next Gen than anything really to do with the series itself. A recommend if you are interested in The Next Generation cast.
Just found this one, written by someone I used to know. My personal preference leans towards the original Star Trek crew (Leonard Nimoy -- yay!) and Deep Space Nine. However, I do feel compelled to read - or at least skim - this one out of some kind of loyalty to the companions of my youth.
