Delightful, as always. the characters in this are both so charming. This issue is a bit more thoughtful and introspective - or perhaps it shows the culmination of a lot of introspection into Takuya and Rika's discovery of a more settled sense of who they are individually and who they are together. New problems arise, particularly the question of what marriage is. As a priest, I feel like I could answer this question for them (clergy are important!), but the direction the story is going seems to be setting up a very interesting answer.
Despite the more introspective nature of this volume, this includes one of the funniest romantic interludes I've ever read. These two are precious beyond words.
More of a 3:5 star rating; I genuinely don’t know what to make of the first meeting between their families. On one hand, I’m glad that everyone got along decently well, but, on the other hand I couldn’t get a good reading on Rika’s mother so a part of me feels like she’s still a future source of conflict. I did like seeing Oohara and Rika take that next step in their relationship, along with Oohara spending time with and making up with his father. The cliffhanger for this volume left me more on the cautious side going into the next volume, due to a new character being introduced and both Oohara and Rika wondering what it means to wish to/truly get married.

This one was a whirlwind! Takuya and Rika have to sort things out after the craziest, most awkward meeting-of-the-families ever. This involves Takuya trying to learn more about his father’s cleaning business after Rika gives him an ultimatum!
This volume is also notable for having the most adorable, most tastefully written sex scene I’ve ever read. They are too cute!
The second story arc felt a little weaker, but getting to meet Rika’s little sister was amazing. Good stuff!
