This was an interesting conclusion to this series. I like that the art is cute, and the stories are wholesome. And since it's only five volumes long, this is definitely a quick read.
But I found Clover to be kind of annoying. She was a giant cry-baby. She was kind of incompetent at almost everything she did. The bunny was a disaster, is what I'm saying. Now, she's a little bunny (a child) so it's kind of understandable.
But (and spoiler alert) . . . . . . . . . . . . the series ends with her leaving to travel with Rambler. I'd understand if it was something that happened in the future, when she's older and more mature (and less of a useless disaster) but it happened before (I felt) she was ready. She was an immature bunny that cried a lot and got doted on because her heart was in the right place at least (and it really was, there was no malice in her).
I just didn't feel she was ready or that it made sense. How they survived after she left with him, or the fact that everyone was okay with it, was beyond me. But it is a manga. And the forest animals all talked. So its not like I went into it expecting it to be true to life.
Nonetheless, this is a series where I'm glad to be done with it. Do with that what you will.
Lovely finale to the series. I skimmed ahead to the last scene a few books back and was somewhat sad about where the story might go. Instead I was throughly satisfied when I completed the book. This is a must-read series for those who love feel-good stories coupled with adorably drawn critters. Despite saying that, I highly recommend this series to any and everyone. <3
That was a sweet end to the series. Clover is preparing herself for leaving and so is her forest family. We learn a bit more about Rambler and how he feels connected most to the Crescent Forest. I'm honestly going to miss this series.
I love this series its so adorable and Rambler past was sad, but it was so cute how clover kept trying to carry the water with her paws. Clover and Rambler leave the forest together and later come back and get to see all her friends kids.

Happy, Happy Clover is a popular children's graphic novel series. This is a nice introduction to graphic novels. The main character, Clover, is a bunny who lives in the forest with her other furry friends and learns valuable lessons, such as the importance of telling the truth and protecting the forest. The stories are short and seem to end abruptly, but they're fun and illustrated nicely.
