I enjoyed most of these stories. There was only one I didn't really care for.

I actually found myself enjoying this book even though it was aimed more at children then adults. In the end it was more adult then the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books and the stories were more in depth and more fulfilling. They were longer and actually "scary" (well for kids). They included death and a little gore. It was definitely a better read then the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark books (which I LOVED as a child, but not as an adult). 3.5/5 stars from me. Almost every single story in this (even the Wicker Man ripoff) is very creepy with a good dash of terror and morbidity. The illustrations come on just the right page and adds the exact horrific idea you need to get the chills. Some of the best kid horror I've read.

Creepy tales that won't let go! Written for younger readers, older readers and adults will find these stories intriguing. No sissy ghost stories here. Lots of twists and turns to confuse the reader and hook you in.

This book has 128 pages not 127. You dont always get it right. I own this book so I know how many pages are in it than you. Stop saying how much is in a book when you don't actually know. You nailed it right only twice.

Quite a fun collection of stories, including some sketches to compliment the tales. Most of the stories are well written, snappy and quick to get into the plot. However, they all end pretty much the same. Sorry for the spoilers, but in every story the central character dies. Sometimes we're told that the central character has some serious flaw and is almost being punished. Sometimes there's nothing obvious other than wrong place, wrong time. This kind of ruins the stories as you soon realise that the character is going to die. With a little bit of a mix, maybe a dash of hope, this would be made the collection far stronger in my opinion. Still, fun enough!
