A short light read about two lonely men connecting at a Christmas party organized for charity.

Mitch doesn't really like Christmas but gets dragged to a charity party by a friend. At the party he runs into a man he'd met in a store earleir that day and decides , for once, to go after him. His interest is met by Sam and they end up at Sam's apartment.

Without much plot or character development, I still enjyed reading the story. On the whole, it felt more than the first chapter of a longer book than a short story.

This is a short story in the "gay men finding holiday joy, model 1 subsection A"-tradition.

Mitch is slightly Grinch-ish and meets Sam, who works at the perfume counter where Mitch reuctantly buys a gift for his sister. Mitch, who's 6"2, is instantly attracted to the petite Sam with all his cuteness and piercings and teasing smiles. Sam is charmed by Mitch's obvious attraction to him. Anyone read this book before..? Or, like, 10 of them?

No huge surprise when the two of them run into each other again the same night - and guess what! They end up in bed and have "standard gay sex, model 1 subsection A"!

Since the story is so short I don't think that the author could have done much more with it. It's short, kind of sweet and I guess I would have thought that the sex was hot if I hadn't already read so many sex scenes exactly like this one. However, I think that if this story had been longer and there had been more depth to the characters, I might have liked it better.

I absolutely loved this story! While too short, I found Mitch's clumsiness around Sam so adorable. His inability to properly talk to Sam without Mitch looking like a blushing idiot was just too cute. Sam found everything Mitch did adorable as well, and while I didn't like that Sam went after Mitch's friend first then drifted back to Mitch, I still thought they were a totally hot and sweet couple. I'm glad I finally read this story because it left a goofy smile on my face just from how sweet it was.

Me ha gustado, pero el final es demasiado brusco. Esperaba algo más, me ha dejado a medias.
