Just finished reading this to my daughter. I try to read her a chapter each night of a big book and she loves it. It's a good depiction of the movie, and now she may be a bit more interested in the movie next time I try to show it to her. :)

I love Snow White and how the seven dwarfs found her in their little cottage and let her stay! The wicked stepmother discovered that Snow White was still alive, so she changed herself into a witch and gave Snow White a poisoned apple. Once she took a bite, the queen knew the princess would sleep forever, however, the handsome prince had the perfect answer!

It took a while to finish. Mom and I read it chapter by chapter by chapter but it was a cute book.

My love of reading started when i was young, and it gives me immense pleasure to provide books to Spread the Word Nevada, an organization that passes them on to children in the community. They are a terrific organization supporting an important cause. If your local I encourage you to check them out. For those living further a field, look in your own community, their may already be a similar program in place. And if not, you can always help start one.

Myself, I go out on the weekends and
shop thrift store and bulk book lots to rescue books and donate them. Sometimes I'll find a book I remember reading when I was young and will read it again before passing it on.

I don't rate these books using my normal scale, instead I give most of them three stars. This isn't a Criticism of the book, simply my way of rating them as good for children.

This book was great. It's set up like a chapter book but is short and easy to read and understand so young children will love it. The pictures were great and the book told the whole story of Snow White. It was almost exactly like the movie. The only thing that could have made it better was if it had added some of the lyrics from the movie where they would have come in. One problem I did have with it was that some of the wording was different than the movie which most people probably wouldn't have noticed but serious fans of Snow White who have seen the movie and listened to the music over and over may have some problems with that. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves Snow White.
