Great introduction to Unity3d game development!

This book teaches you about every aspect of Unity3d engine to start your journey. After reading this book I have enough basic knowledge to create games on my own and I am ready to dive into more advanced topics. I highly recommended this book for every new unity adept.

This book is an intro to Unity, the game development platform and engine. I didn't follow it along with the computer. My intention was to try to grasp the main concepts, just through reading. It's not the right kind of book for that.
But it is a good book, and full of step by step examples with some room for expansion.

This book is the best book I can recommend to anyone looking to get started with unity. It's an easy read. The instructions are clear, the resources as well as the authors are available if you have questions. And I couldn't think of a better introduction to Unity 5.

A good beginner's book to expose yourself to Unity, but not very thorough. Most of the coding is glossed over, expecting simple copy and paste instead of explaining the why and how of each function.

A good starting point

It’s a good book. I wish it went more in depth. The chapter on coding was too short. I would recommend it for people just starting out.
