Imaginative time travel short story that's now too outdated with the premise. A megalomaniacal tyrant escapes back to the then-present day for this publication as his machine failed. It went back further than expected and his person is having an adverse impact on the environment as he's trying integrate. Predictable ending and outdated science, but creative tale.

A megalomaniacal tyrant uses a time machine to escape a coup against him and travel to the past to try again, but sabotage lands him in a different time than he intended.

A very interesting story with a tragically flawed premise (it's flat wrong). Setting that aside... IF the main scientific premise (which I will not state here as it is a spoiler) WERE to be factual, then the story is quite thought provoking. It is well written, interesting (despite the flaw because you don't get to that until the end), and action packed. It's a worthwhile read.

Fantasy listening 🔰

Due to eye issues and damage Alexa reads to me.
Another will written fantasy Sci-Fi thriller adventure novella with interesting characters. The story line is about a dictator being overthrown and using a time machine to go back ten thousand years and what happens. I would recommend this novella to anyone looking for a quick read. Enjoy the adventure of reading 📚2021 🐔🐇⌚

Part of LibriVox Short Science Fiction Collection 006. Another scientifically preposterous salutary tale of revenge involving time travel, a ruthless dictator and the mother of all post apocalyptic worlds. Quite amusing in a macabre fashion I suppose.

Timely warning

If only this would come true??? (I'm not sure if I have Sally want that, but it's a thought provoked by the story.)

After being overthrown in a revolt, a dictator named Hradzka escapes 10,000 years into the past in a time machine. However, the machine was sabotaged and self-destructs upon arrival. Despite being stranded with minimal future technology, Hradzka remains confident that he can subjugate the pre-Atomic population and rebuild his empire—but he didn’t count on other destructive elements from the future accompanying him to the past.

A short story that takes an unexpected turn. I could guess the climax, but I really loved it. An unusual time travelling plot.
