A collection of Christmas stories to warm your heart. Featuring....
The Christmas Angel. Zoe never thought she’d be grateful for a flat tyre. But when a handsome policeman pulled over to help her. Things changed. Constable Dylan Andrews was every Christmas wish come true. And when he offered to give her a private escort home. She knew she was in for one hell of a ride.
The Bonus. My name is Grace Porter, and I am the personal assistant to Gabriel Ferrara, CEO of Ferrara Media in New York. It’s the perfect job, great pay, beautiful office, everything I ever dreamed of, if not for one small detail. I am utterly and hopelessly in love with my boss.
Alaskan Jack When city girl Holly takes a business trip to Alaska, she was unprepared. Her assistant called in sick, she missed her flight, then had to drive for hours in the dead of night. Add to that, a storm, a car accident, and a grumpy saviour, Jack. When Holly is forced to spend the night in Jack’s log Cabin. She gets more than she bargained for.
Alaska, where the weather is wild, and so are the men.
Publishers Note.......This is a collection of short stories available for 28 days only.
T L Swan is a #1 Amazon best-selling author and a professional daydream believer. Based on the scenic South Coast of NSW with her husband and three kids, she's seen her books take the romance world by storm with multiple #1 best sellers and translated editions of her books in over 20 languages.
Best known for "The Miles High Club" series, all of her books exist in an inter-connected universe that exudes luxury and desire. Her mission is crafting steamy, tender, and unforgettable romantic stories that stay with you long after you’ve closed the book.
Well, you know, it's short, but it's a TL Swan novella, and I love the way she writes so I was bound to enjoy this. Add to it the grumpiness and growliness and manliness of the hero and... sold!
"No woman ever complained about my hands before." His eyes rise to meet mine. "They like ‘em rough." I'll keep this short. Holly needs to go to Alaska for work, but she misses her flight. She gets a car to drive herself, but then it's raining hard and she has an accident. The car is stuck, she has nowhere to go. Enter Jack, the mountain man, light-years away from anything she's used to, who rescues her, when the hotel is closed, offers her a place to stay.
"He hasn’t been with a woman in seven years and, oh my God, I'm going to get it good. This is Alaskan porn at its fucking best." These two are complete opposites, and this is opposites attract and forced proximity at its best. They're instantly drawn to each other, there's chemistry in spades, and once it's on, it's really on. I loved all their moments together.
"It won't be Christmas without you." They're in love in a week, I was in love with both of them in just a few pages. I'd like this to be turned into a full-length novel because I feel there's a lot I don't know about these two. Still, it gave me holiday vibes and all the feels at the end. What more could I ask for, really?
It’s my third year getting these TL Swan short stories. I am now waiting for Gabriel Ferrara AND Mr. Prescott. Not cool!
The Expert
"It’s tax deductible because he has a legitimate consulting business he works out of." "What does he consult on? Vagina waxing?" Elizabeth is trying to win a major account for her business, but her ex is also in the running for it. She’s not looking forward to seeing him again, so she’s given a weird idea—what if she shows up with a hot guy? An escort—an expert—but with absolutely no sex involved.
"Like when was the last time your body was used for pleasure? No romance, no lies, or pretenses… just thoroughly well fucked." However, that’s out the window because Thomas is… wow. And he shows her what she’s been missing all along. My only issue? It doesn’t have an HEA. Elizabeth comes out empowered, but it’s hinted that she’ll end up with someone else.
Mr. Prescott
"I promised I would do it for her, every last thing. And I’m determined. I’m living my life for the two of us now." Alora signs up for an exclusive kink club so she can fulfill someone else’s last wish. The premise is interesting: she needs to exert control, Mr. Prescott needs to relinquish it. So they’re paired up. Totally anonymous, no names exchanged.
"His touch is magical, almost otherworldly. Dominance, reverence, and fire all rolled into one." It’s supposed to be one night to live out whatever fantasies they have, but there’s too much want and raw desire from the start. I think they both forget why they were even there. So much so that they break the rules and stay one more night together. She wants him, and, oh, does he want her. But they still part ways.
"Mr Doe. I don’t know how, I don’t when…." I smile fondly and close my eyes as I make my Christmas wish. "May we meet again." A full-length book is coming, and I can’t wait to see Alora and Mr. Prescott together again!
"“What are you waiting for, life is now. Decide what you want and take it." I think this sentence sums up both stories in this book. I know, I'm on a Christmas book binge, but it feels right this year, so I'll keep it up until New Year's. This book contains three stories—the last one was included in last year's Christmas List, so if you got it last year (like I did) you will have read it already. I won't be mentioning it here.
I had great expectations for this, and maybe that's why it didn't quite work for me.
"Christmas makes me sad," he says softly. I frown, "Why?" "It reminds me of what I don’t have." Keeping this short, the first story didn't quite work for me. Although I enjoyed both characters, Dylan and Zoe, they were hot and then cold, there were some repetitions, typos, and formatting issues, and it felt rushed to me. There were also some plot points that didn't go anywhere and that didn't need to be there. I'm not a huge fan of bringing in the ex for added drama, and I think they could have plenty of drama if Dylan's story had been more explored. As it is, it felt like it was dropped there for added drama as well. Especially since this is a Christmas novella... It just would have made heaps more sense to me.
"To my Gracie, Forever yours, Gabriel xo" The second one... Gabriel Ferrara completely steals the show. I know this is meant to draw us in and for us to want to read his book, and it absolutely worked. It's not necessarily a Christmas story if I'm being honest, and it does end in a cliffhanger, but I have no regrets. Before you ask, I know I have a soft spot for the assholes, and Gabriel truly is one of those, but in true TL Swan way, I hope he's going to redeem himself, and that's just going to make it (and him!) even better. Grace... Well, I hope she grows a backbone, because she's going to need it. And that's all I'll say so I don't spoil anything for anyone.
It was an enjoyable read; I just needed more from it.
This was just not very good and had nothing to do with Christmas lol and after reading it I have no idea what the title has to do with the book..."His Christmas List"? This was very obviously written super quickly, no serious editing or planning and it just didn't do much for me.
Also there were two quotes in this novella: "Oh...you're big," I whimper. "No," he smiles against my neck as his teeth graze my skin, "you're small." I giggle, because that's a blatant lie." and "Hurry up and hurt me. Hurt me hard." I know I've complained about these exact quotes in another review I've written, but not for a T.L. Swan book apparently so that's confusing. Is there a way to search your own reviews for text? No idea how I can find this review I'm thinking of, but anyway I hate the first quote because it sounds like she's saying she has a big vagina 😅 and the second one is just weird and not sexy to me. So the mystery of how I've read these exact words, but not by T.L. Swan is unsettling.
I love TL Swan so much, it's insane. I just read this in probably 30 minutes. All she had to say was there was a hot Alaskan mountain man and I came RUNNING. If you are in the mood for an xmas novella this is it!!!! Imma need a full length book for them ASAP
Three short holiday stories…I am assuming these are teasers for books coming out next year, or at the very least, for Gracie and Gabriel (GAG) I’ll explain the gagging later.
The Christmas Angel - 3⭐️ Zoe is leaving the gym one morning when she gets a flat tire. Very handsome and charming policeman Dylan stops to help her and then escorts her home. They see each other while our drinking with friends and share a kiss, and then a few days later he shows up at her house to ask her on a date, but ends up frisking her instead. I really liked it, but it was so rushed that it kinda fell flat.
The Bonus - 1⭐️ I am shocked at the number of people staning Grace and Gabriel. He is her boss, who constantly entertains lady friends and even has a stripper pole at his place so they can entertain him. Gracie is in love with him, despite him being a man whore and having NOT ONE redeeming trait. He’s a dick to his employees and treats Grace like an errand girl, sending her to buy gifts for his lady friends and to book his dates with them. Then he screws her and writes her off. Nope. Grace is a doormat and Gabriel is an asshole. Just gross.
Alaskan Jack - 4⭐️ This was my favorite. Holly works for Gabriel (he’s back. neat.) and is heading to Alaska to seal a deal for him. Holly’s assistant is sick, and all kinds of mixups happen, sending Holly to the wrong city and having to drive seven hours in bad weather. So of course she wrecks and is saved by Jack the (not really) lumberjack and he takes her to his cabin. They share a meal and some drinks and commiserate about her awful ex husband and his wife who passed. Mutual attraction meets forced proximity in a really touching and sweet quickie romance. Loved it! And I still say fuck Gabriel.
TL Swan is an auto click/buy author for me, and I will devour anything that she writes. That includes these little short stories! She adds to this each year, and I have loved every single one. They are the perfect little thing to read, and some she even plans to write full books for!!
The two that I read this year was The Expert and Mr Prescott. They were hot asf, and were such a perfect little treat! Mr Prescott is being worked on for a full book, and I honestly cannot wait, that little teaser was so damn hot 🥵 and I need more!!
The Christmas Angel- 2.5⭐️ - Gag, Wanted to not read more after just the five pages. I’d skip this one. 🙄 Too cheesy.
The Bonus- 4.5⭐️ -yeah, I’m down for another asshole hero to be redeemed. Sign me up for this full length book ✅ One thing tho…masturbating with a computer mouse and ruler? 🤔😂
I’m sorry Dylan?? Gabriel?? Umm big no for me. I rarely hate the MMC from what Tee written. But Jack you’re definitely alright. The first two MMC way too rude and selfish and I just can’t. But overall love the vibe and the different setting of this book.
His Christmas list is made up of three short stories.
The first story is The Christmas Angel. Zoe gets a flat tire on her way home from the gym and attempts to fix it. Dylan a police officer stops and helps her get the tire changed and it seems to her that they have a connection. She didn't get his number and keeps thinking of him but thinks that she will never see her again. Until one night he shows up at her house and asks to come in a search the premises.
“Well, Zoe, there’s something you should know about me,” he says in his deep raspy voice, he gets onto his knees and looks up at me from the ground, “I always finish what I start.” The air crackles between us.
The second story is The Bonus. Grace works for Gabriel Ferrara at his media company in New York City and has had a crush on him for the seven years that she has worked for him. She watches him go on dates with all of these woman and as his assistant buys them gifts for him. She decides that she's not going to do it anymore and is going to resign and move. Her last day is the day of the office Christmas party and she is going to make him notice her. He does and they have just this one night together.
To my Gracie, Forever yours, Gabriel xo I screw up my face in tears as I hold the bracelet to my chest, he loved me. In his own messed up way, he loved me.
The third story is Akaskan Jack. Holly is to fly to Anchorage Akaska first a meeting for Ferrara media and her PA is sick and unable to go. She decides that she can handle it and goes alone. Except nothing is going as planned and is a disaster starting with her missing her flight. She finds a flight to Fairbanks Alaska and will get a car to get her to Anchorage. It's raining heavily and she goes off the road and a man comes to help her. Jack drivers her to town but the hotel is closed for the holiday so he tells her that she will stay with him. Her meeting is canceled and she stays the week with Jack and has never felt anything like she does with him. The week ends and he asks her to stay but she must return to New York.
"We met for a reason; I truly believe that,"
These were cute fast reads Christmas reads. I look forward to more from TL Swan in the future!
I didn’t love it, and I didn’t hate it. With only 66 pages and 3 chapters I don’t even know how to give it a proper rating lol.
Holly’s having a very bad day. First she misses her flight, then has to drive in a rain storm at night and ends up getting in an accident. A “mountain man” comes to the rescue and the only option she has is to stay at his place in the middle of nowhere until she can figure out what to do the next day.
So unexpected, TL Swan dropping a “Christmas” novella and I immediately had to drop everything and read it. I put Christmas in quotations because the only thing Christmas about it was that the shops were decorated.
•Esta destinada a ser un descargo personal no para que alguien más lea pero si lo haces y te ofende, me disculpo porque sé lo que es que te guste un libro y otros lo critiquen
💝His Christmas list de T.L Swan
Argumento:
1 star for the first novella. The second novella has the surprise pregnancy trope, I wish I never read it. 1 star fo the third novella.
Honestly, I wish I saved myself the suffering of reading through this. It wasn’t worth the little time I put into it. It sounded cute but honestly was a waste of time.
But gave me a broken heart... I know that life is full of challenges. I expect them. But each of these glimpses of life left me sad and empty. Don't misunderstand. The writing is exceptional, and drags you right in. I read each word like an addict, anxious for the next. Breathless with anticipation. Perhaps that is my problem. I lived the stories; felt every moment with an intensity. That is why we read in the first place, to live somewhere else, as someone else. Step out of life, and live the fantasy. But these moments of fantasy seemed to enhance the loneliness, rather than relieve it, even temporarily. This is well worth reading; and beautifully done. That it left me wanting more, is my problem.
First time I've been disappointed by a T.L. Swan Book
First story started good was so rushed by the end and ya I get it's a short story but the end was the only part that felt so off and rushed. Second story left me confused and angry didn't enjoy it. So I didn't even bother with the third.
Did I run and get this the minute I saw Tee say it was available absofuckinglutley soooo good! The Bonus was my favorite and I definitely see more of Gabriel and Gracie. 3 short stories that will leave you wanting so much more!!
I couldn't finish the first story, the guy was really too obnoxious and I didn't care for him. The second story was about Grace and Gabriel Ferrara and was actually not bad The last story might be the one I liked most
There was only one thing I didn’t like about this, and it was that it was over too soon.
I loved this novella, and with it being under 70 pages, naturally, I devoured it🤪 If you’re in the mood for strangers to lovers and forced proximity with spicy scenes, get onto this ASAP👏🏼
This short story is the beginning of a collection in which TL Swan will be adding to every year, and is only available to download for 28 days from the release date.
As Head of Acquisitions for Ferrara Media, Holly is set to fly to Alaska for an important meeting just before Christmas. Things don’t start off too good when her assistant calls in sick at 5am and can’t go with her. Holly’s adamant she’ll be fine on her own until she misses her flight. She can’t take the private jet as Mr. Ferrara is using it and she can’t even get a charter. After managing to get a last minute flight, she lands in Fairbanks and rents a car to take the seven hour drive to Anchorage.
Everything that could go wrong, went wrong that day, and when Holly skids off the road during a storm and crashes her car, that was the cherry on top.
Jack saw the headlights of Holly’s car skid off the road from his house so he quickly rushes down to help her.
He finds her soaking wet with a sprained ankle, in her business attire, and offers to drive her to the closest hotel to stay the night at, only to find it closed. The only other option is for her to stay at his house until tomorrow.
Holly and Jack were complete opposites but were perfect for each other. When Holly managed to crack Jack open, their conversation was effortless. They bonded over their broken marriages, life and work. The attraction towards each other was instant and sexual chemistry undeniable. They were both broken but when together, found themselves whole again.
Their relationship albeit fast and how it evolved in just a week, felt natural to read about. From strangers who were unsure and awkward around each other, to friends who found comfort in one another, and then to lovers who can’t live without the other, I was obsessed and left wanting more from them!
When an author usually writes books with over 500 pages and then can write a fantastic story in 66 pages that is true talent! And Tee has that in abundance.
What a Christmas treat Alaskan Jack is. It is a heartwarming, sexy read where fate takes over in this opposites attract insta love romance.
Perfect for the holidays when time is crucial to everyone as can be read in an hour.
