All the highlights from Disney's animated film Aladdin are captured in this action-packed pop-up book: from the mysterious Cave of Wonders, where an enormous blue genie pops out of a magic lamp, to the starlit city of Agrabah, where Aladdin and Princess Jasmine take a romantic carpet ride over the sultan's palace. Children will delight in finding their favorite characters from the movie, including Alladin's pet monkey, Abu; the villainous Jafar, and his parrot, Iago.

Presqu’aussi bien que le dessin animé qui est à mon sens un des meilleurs Disney !
Superbe histoire, super personnage, même le tapis volant est un personnage à lui seul!!!

Aladdin by Don Ferguson is placed under the genre Children Literature as a fantasy. It is intended for the audience ages three to six years. This story is about a poor boy named Aladdin and a Princess named Jasmine’s journey. Aladdin hoping to one day be rich so he’ll never have to steal again, and Jasmine hoping to one day marry for love. This story contains lots of magic and mystery. I rated Aladdin five stars because of the incredible use of language, imagery, characters, and the dramatic plot. This story is an enchanting journey with lots of magic altering the rise and fall of the plot. This book would appeal to young readers because of the use of magic and the characters - a princess and prince. Younger readers, especially girls enjoy stories with romance – Aladdin and Jasmine fall in love. Young readers, especially boys enjoy stories with action – Aladdin fighting evil magic, saving Jasmine and her father from evil Jafar. This fantasy encourages divergent thinking – encouraging young readers to enjoy the book while allowing them to compare the difference of what’s fantasy and what’s real. Aladdin keeps young readers engaged and on the edge of their seats. I absolutely loved this story as a child!

I've had this book since I was very little and now I'm reading it, as well as other Disney stories like it, to my teenage sister for fun. I'm really enjoying revisiting these books. They basically retell the stories presented in the films, but with some alternate/slightly altered dialogue. This is also a fun way to experience these beloved classics without watching the entire movie if you don't have the time to sit for an hour and a half to two hours.

I'll probably revisit these several hundred more times.

96 pages of full-page colored images telling the story of Disney's Aladdin. The story was right on except for a few minor changes to the actual characters' speech. Was a delight to read through, used to own several of these as a kid.

A good story and a good picture book adaptation of it. The art is very good but a lot of the backgrounds were pretty blank and generic.
