While w premise of a mysterious visitor connected to the vicar's brother is interesting, the plot of this work is overshadowed by mediocre sex writing. It seems strange for the character's place and station, and then is not particularly well written. If you want historical fiction with a bit of spice, I would suggest Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series.
it was a nice book. the story didnt seem very well written or believable..im not sure which. a vicars sister who jumps into bed with a blind stranger that just shows up one night. it kept my interest enough to finish the book,i had to know what happened to the 2 main characters in the story. the ending did tie up most of the lose ends. i will try another of this series, just to see if i like it better.i hate to quite a series.
