Oh dear me!!! The drama continues!!! And I’m there for every second of it!!!! I’m sure I mentioned in my review of the previous book that this feels kind of like a soap opera in graphic novel form. It’s over the top and so much fun to read!! Lady Ripley is still scheming as usual and her plans never seem to go the way she wants. Which is absolutely hilarious!!!
This book has it all, drama, comedy, romance, a bit of action, and fabulous art!!! I loved looking at the pictures because they’re so vibrant and fun. The expressions are especially enjoyable to see because they’re beautiful at times and just plain funny at others. I enjoyed Ripley and her antics so much!! And Zeronis never disappoints of course!! His devotion is adorable!!!
So I recommend this to those who enjoyed the first two!!! But watch out, we have to wait for 4-6 printed in English. Or you can skip the wait and binge the rest on Webtoons!!!

4.5 ⭐ A lot happens to make it feel a bit more scattered than the first 2, but I really like the depth we see of Ripley and Sylvia's relationship in this!

ripley isn’t the smartest main character that isekai-ed over, but she’s one of the female heroines that didn’t care about the past and rather, focused on her future with the love she is receiving from everyone in her new life. other than that, i really liked how old and new ripley interacted, even in the little time they had together. even though ripley is quite oblivious, she managed to create tight knit bonds with people around her, i especially liked her relationship with her maid, sylvia.
zeronis and ripley were so hilarious together. at first, all the tactics in the world wouldn’t stop zeronis from stopping the marriage. then, ripley finally accepted that this is happening, the romance was cute and funny. what a sweet pair. they really been through a lot with the other on their side. the trust and love that developed throughout was really heartwarming. it’s nice to see zeronis being so open and different towards ripley while ripley loves him. overall, it was a really sweet series.

**FULL SERIES REVIEW** - no spoilers
A very lovable and adorable manhwa read!
You can read The First Night with the Duke on Webtoons app. You get one free episode a day and 3 additional episodes a day if you watch an ad for each one. There’s about 100 episode in the series with 13 cute after the ending episodes. I kind of like to read web comics this way because I get a little treat each day, also I feel like watching ads kind of gives pay a little to the authors.
The first 3 volumes have been serialized in America and I’m happy about that! Sometimes it’s a good feeling to open an actual book and you can really get the look and feel for the graphics (which is the best part in comics).
The art style isn’t my favorite, I prefer realism with a lot of detail, but the sweet cartoon style isn’t bad either. It’s rather cute and you get the sweet feel for the series. The best part of the series for me is the leading lady, Ripley. I hate the orange (carrot) hair, but even she makes fun of her looks which I find amusing.
The story is what the title states, she spends the first night with the Duke, Zeronis, and everything kind of falls out of control or into place, depending on how you see it from that night. I really love the characters the creator created. Zeronis is the perfect side character to Ripley’s story. This is truly Ripley’s story. It’s about her falling into her favorite book world and the antics she goes through.
Ripley’s character is comical, lovable and strong. She’s one of my favorite leading ladies because of this. I love the way she presents herself and she truly doesn’t care what people think of her. I love that Zeronis never wavers and also has the heart eyes for Ripley. He’s simply cares for Ripley for who she is.
Overall, it’s a really good series to get sucked into. You can binge read everything in one go or like me, read a little a day to treat yourself to cuteness all the time until you finish the series.

Today's manga post is on The First Night with the Duke Volume 3 by Hwang DoTol and MSG (Artist). It is 288 pages long and is published by Net Comics. The cover has Ripley making a heart shape with her hands. As it is the third volume in the series, you need to have read the first two volumes to understand the story. There is no foul language, no sex, and mild action violence in this manga. The story closely follows the main character, Ripley. There Be Spoilers Ahead.
From the back of the book- A stalker is harassing Etoile, so to help her out, Ripley devises Operation Fake Boyfriend.
She figured if they pretended that Etoile and Wright were a couple, they could chase off the stalker, and it would also be a chance to bring the two of them together for real. But why the heck is Zeronis here instead of Wright?
Together, Zeronis and Etoile look just like characters from a fairy tale. And even though she knows they're just acting, she can't bear to see them as a couple.
Review- More shenanigans from Ripley and co, with Etoile being stalked, Zeronis being slightly jealous, and Ripley being in the middle of it all. So Ripley and Zeronis are getting married but with her best friend in trouble, Ripley can't ignore her! So Ripley tries to get Etoile and Wright together, as she always shipped them. But when Wright can't help, Zeronis steps in and more silliness follows. But Ripley has more to worry about with Rose's jealously getting out of control. Ripley is really great in this volume from being over the top to being so in love. She is a joy to read about. The last half of the volume is serious but ends well and I can't wait for the next volume.
I give this volume a Five out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

i read volumes 1-3 a while ago as the rest weren’t out, but it was a pretty good serious! i really loved the art styles and the characters were quite well written. i honestly have no issues with it, though i don’t think it’s anything special necessarily. i picked it up for the title soooo…
but still, at times i was quite annoyed with how adamantly she rejected his advances because at the end of the day it was quite obvious he wasn’t giving up. i also convinced a friend to read it and supposedly the next few volumes have pretty much the same problems, though i’m not sure how true that is. either way i think they’re cute and one day i’ll get around to finishing this series!!!

Tal cuál la predicción que hice en el tomo anterior, Rose sigue siendo una conchuda. Se armó tremendo plan de secuestro y juro que ya veía a Ripley vendida en un país extraño 🙈. Por suerte Zeronis llegó como un príncipe oscuro en su flamante corcel(?
Creo que no hay nada más desgarrador que cuando este chabon baja las defensas y expresa sus emociones a flor de piel. Me rompe en mil pedazos cuando llora, porque pienso en el pasado de mierda que tuvo y se vuelve todo aún más crudo.
No me simpatiza que metan tanta trama en pocis capítulos, va muy rápido todo, pero igual lo estoy disfrutando.
Creo que no hay nada más desgarrador que cuando este chabon baja las defensas y expresa sus emociones a flor de piel. Me rompe en mil pedazos cuando llora, porque pienso en el pasado de mierda que tuvo y se vuelve todo aún más crudo.

Como cabía esperar, este Webtoon empieza a empeorar en el momento en el que el romance comienza y las respuestas siguen sin ser respondidas, por tratar de estirar el chicle. Ripley empieza a perder su personalidad, siendo una aburrida enamorada y Xeronis más o menos lo mismo... seguimos sin la respuesta más básica después de 50 capítulos: ¿cómo ha acabado metida dentro de su historia favorita?
Seguiré leyendo por saber cómo acaba, pero parece que empieza a ir para abajo...

A esta historia le tengo mucho cariño y sé muy bien que no es perfecta, incluso que inicio de la pareja es turbia, pero el desarrollo y como todos los personajes salen de lo cliché dentro del mismo cliché que es la novela me encanto, además del toque de humor que posee es increíble.
En fin, fue una delicia leer a Ripley y Xeronis, una de mis parejas favoritas sin duda, los quiero mucho.

This webtoon made me have so many feelings and I loved experiencing all of those emotions and I am sad to see this story end but it was so worth it to see all of them reach their end.
All of the characters grew and had their development and they grew on me.
Would absolutely recommend this webtoon if you love comedy with a mix of romance, suspense and a thick crazy plot.

La historia es tan linda y divertida!! Nunca me había llamado la atención pero el título me resultó similar a otra historia, lo empecé a leer con cero expectativas pero cuanto más avanzaba más me daba curiosidad el saber como se resolvía el misterio y el como se desarrollaba la relación entre Xeronis y Replay.
Me encariñe con la mayoría de los personajes y una de mis protegidos es Sylvia 🩷
