When Lyric Evermore crashed Annie McIntyre’s all-alone-on-Thanksgiving pity party four years ago, she never could have imagined it would be the start of their own annual tradition. Nor did either of them know, it might be the start of something more meaningful . . .

4 Stars!

This is kind of like a very short version of November 9 by CoHo where the main characters make it a tradition to see each other every year, and I find it sweet! In the case of Lyric Evermore and Annie McIntyre, the first time they met was during Thanksgiving when no one was there to celebrate with them since they are both away from their families. They decided that, why not meet every Thanksgiving to remind them about their presence? Little did they know that each time they met, they also started to develop a deeper connection and feelings toward each other. I loved how this novella was delivered. It was short and sweet but you can definitely feel the feelings both characters have for each other. I am so looking forward to reading another work from K. Bromberg. Her writing is always amazing!

2.75 Estrellas!

Friendship that may turn into more . . .

A quick thirty pages filled with a wonderfully delightful treat from Kristy Bromberg on this Thanksgiving holiday. Not much I can say without spoiling this short and to the point story. It’s fun to read with very likable characters who meet each Thanksgiving four years in a row to share their ongoing Evermore-McIntyre-Thanksgiving for two.

🎄Forever More de K. Bromerg✨

Argumento:

❄️ME ENCANTÓ!!! MUCHO!!

I was gonna give this some grace because building a believable romance in 30 pages is a though act, but then I remembered that I’ve read short stories that have managed to create believable world building, characters and all that in the same number of pages.

If you don’t want to be too critical: this was cute. A little thanksgiving romance for the season (I read this on thanksgiving day in one sitting). If you’re looking for something quick to read, this will do.
If you (probably no one) want to be a tad more critical: rest of the review ensues

This was heading straight to 3 stars. A 30 page novella? Sure, just the thing I needed (bc I’m at the point of the year where I shamelessly read short things to reach my reading goal).
However [comma] there were a few things that I couldn’t overlook:
1. The relationship was instalove-y, but like that was expected tbh, it’s a 30 page romance, we know what we’re here for
2. I had trouble believing these characters existed outside of the points in time when we see them, their relationship outside of their thanksgiving together was hard for me to grasp
3. I don’t feel like the choice of having this be set at thanksgiving was purposeful enough. Maybe bc they’re staying back at school during the break and thanksgiving is the first break in the school calendar? This could’ve easily happened at Christmas or Labor Day for that matter. While we’re on that, why is the first hint of a setting (San Francisco) given on page 21 of 25? This could’ve easily been introduced on page 1.
4. I don’t think the story used it’s pages in an efficient way. Plot threads were left open when they could’ve been resolved with a line or two.
5. A lot of the exposition (which has to be there to build the relationship fast) is through dialogue; I’m sorry no one talks like that to someone they actually know (I don’t go around telling my friends the characteristics of their own houses in casual conversation)

Awww!!

This was so perfectly sweet with just a little heat insinuated at the end.

I would so take a full novel about these two as they figure out their life together as Rock Star and Lawyer 😍😍

Thankful for love!

This little novella was the perfect read and Kristy gave us characters to love! Annie and Lyric meet each year for Thanksgiving. Each has feelings for the other but has kept them hidden. Will this year be different? Will they finally get a reason to be thankful or will they stay in the friend zone? Thanks Kristy, this was just delightful!

This was a very short Thanksgiving novella that I actually really enjoyed! As short as it was, I thought the author was actually able to create a decent plot through the use of skipping between different periods in time. It’s also available on Kindle Unlimited, so if you have KU I would say it’s worth the short amount of time it takes to read it!

description

“She tastes like home.
She is home.”

“I’ve told myself I was crazy. That we’d never work. But you’re who I want to pick up the phone and call when things go bad or are good. You’re the bright spot in my life.”

If you’re looking for the perfect novella to read on Thanksgiving, I highly recommend Forever More by K. Bromberg.

This story is about Annie and Lyric who meet one Thanksgiving and they create their own tradition around it. I loved to see it and they are friends first, but Annie had a crush on him. I was totally rooting for them, but Lyric is on the brink of becoming a famous musician and he doesn’t have that much time anymore. You get to see this is a past and present timeline and I was so surprised how well that worked given the short length of the book. Annie and Lyric are wonderful together and I didn’t want their story to end.

So, I knew Forever More: A Holiday Novella by K. Bromberg was a novella, I mean, it says it in the name, however, I didn't realize it was only 32 pages long. I read novellas all the time but they are usually longer than this so seeing it was a novella didn't turn me away. My mom had downloaded it to our Kindle Unlimited account so I decided I would read it and it was cute but SO MUCH MORE could have been done with this story so I am so conflicted about how many stars to give it.

Annie and Lyric are gold!

This little novella is fabulous. Two friends meet every thanksgiving-eve for the last 4 years in the same bar. Hiding their true feelings. They were neighbors, struggling in their careers when they first met. Now. Here’s a rock star and a lawyer. They just need to admit how they feel toward each other.

Kristy - I would LOVE to see more of Annie and Lyric!

Can never go wrong with a Kirsty Bromberg book.
This is sweet story about Lyric and Annie, they have known each other for years, always meeting up on Thanksgiving is the same bar, they each have feeling for each other which is why they have never settled down yet.
Can they go from friends to lovers? only one way to find out.
I would so love a longer book about these two, how they navigate their new romance.

This was my first Thanksgiving holiday romance but it was super cute! It's kind of Same Time, Next Year inspired strangers to friends to lovers. I was surprised to find out there wasn't any spice, but it was still a good story!

I think this could make for a fun prequel if the author ever decided to give these characters a full-length novel!

A short, fast paced holiday novella. Lyric and Annie met at a bar on Thanksgiving. When he saw her all alone, Lyric thought of joining her. They soon became friend + family and they promised to make it their tradition to meet there on Thanksgiving.

I would say this is a lovely interaction, not much about romance. But more about how two strangers became friend.

The a epitome of short and sweet ❤️

This was a super short novella, but it was so cute. It was short and sweet, but gave you enough of the inside story where you were able to fill in the gaps kind of on your own, as to how their relationship developed over the years, which was so sweet.

Cute

Definitely reads like a fanfic which may not be for everyone but I liked it. The time skips back and forth are fun and fill in a lot of the plot we wouldn't otherwise see in something this short. Overall really enjoyed it but do wish it was just a tad longer so we got a slightly better ending.

This was a cute, quick read and I enjoyed it.

Lyric and Anne meet by chance at a Thanksgiving party, then as years pass it becomes a tradition to do so every year but becomes tricky as Lyric's fame grows. Fame is not the only thing that grows as time does, but also their feelings for each other. Who will be the first to cross from friends to more?

Annie and Lyric find themselves celebrating Thanksgiving together 5 years before when they had no one else to celebrate with. They formed a new tradition that had them agreeing to meet up each Thanksgiving to celebrate it together. It was a quick, easy read. There was enough packed into its 30 short pages to keep me entertained.
