I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the narrator and found it very enjoyable. Hailey once again finds herself in the land of Fae and a lot of trouble. An ancient Druid has cursed her. Now she's must get rid of him and find a cure. What else could go wrong? Knowing Hailey and her friends lots. Interesting characters and suspenseful, fast moving plot will keep you listen until the end. This is a very enjoyable series that just keeps getting better.

Faeries and Fangs by the ever creative urban fantasy author Theophilus Monroe is a wild buggy ride to enjoy, just as it was to record. It might be my favorite in the THE BLOOD WITCH series so far. The series features nineteen year old Hailey Bradbury, witch extraordinaire and recently turned vampire. The latter, much to her teenage chagrin. It is one of her novice mistakes that land Hailey in the Land of the Faeries and in opposition to The Faerie King. She is aided by vampiress diva, Mercy Brown (a favorite character of mine) and Wee Willie Winker of Faerie Land (yes, the Wee Willie Winker; and no small amount of 'humor ala Theophilus Monroe' is derived from this union!), as they also face off against the diabolical druid, Mug Ruith and his deathtrap flying machine.
But who is the real Bad Guy here?
Much like Ghouls and Grimoires, (Book Four in the series), Faeries and Fangs is an almost moment-to-moment adventure, as Hailey and Mercy persevere to save an ungrateful mankind. As each well-intentioned step sets off a new unwitting explosion from yet another direction, the twists and turns could lead to whiplash. And who is friend and who is foe becomes breathlessly impossible to discern. We land, gasping, right at the doorstep of the next adventure, MONSTERS AND MAMBOS, The Blood Witch Saga Book 6 - which is in production now.
The cast for Faeries and Fangs is quite large, with druids and faeries and succubi joining the cast of creatures. These wonderfully fantastic entities are such a blast to create. Who is alive and who isn't, who is pint-sized and who is wizened, who is human and who is ...well, something else, offer a narrator so many textures and colors with which to play. Pile on an extensive Celtic mythology in the true legend of Mug Ruith, this story was just so much fun to tell.
Theo has three more stories for the girls to traverse before we see where Hailey will land. I, for one, am quite sure I will be along for the wild ride.

One thing is crystal clear whenever I pick up a Theophilus Monroe book, I want to be a vampire! I mean, eternal youth, immense strength, no aches and pains and HIS vampires are the coolest ever! If I can't be a Vampire, boohoo, I'd definitely want to be their friend! These are not your blood thirsty, mindless, uncaring vampires, ok, ok, not ALL are. Hailey and Mercy are 2 of my favourite vampires, they're also witches! What a cool combination!
The fate of the world is once again in the hands of Hailey, Mercy and crew. When they investigate why and who has been turning/sireing vampires, it's not what they, or I imagined. Their findings take them back to Faerie, back into insurmountable risk and they once again have to navigate between truth, lies and motives. Catching a curse or two along the way only complicates matters even more. They seem to solve one problem and then another bigger one emerges. One such problem is how on earth is Hailey going to get out of this??? To know what "this" is, you're going to have to read it....
Another riveting, fast paced, action filled book by Theophilus Monroe. Whose characters are a delight to follow. Once again Pauli makes his incredibly humourous appearance, albeit briefly, it's always a riot (in the comical sense) when he's around. Another newish character, Wee Willie Winkle, is fast becoming a firm favourite. I love how they all take the mikey out of him. I have said, in other reviews of books by this author, and I'll say it again, it's so cleverly written. The drama, the tension, the storyline, all are peppered with humour and very easy to read and follow, even though it's a complex plot, with twists and turns aplenty, this book, like all books by Theo have me wanting more!

Faeries and Fangs is the fifth book in The Blood Witch Saga by Theophilus Monroe. Faeries and Fangs is full of action and suspense that keep the pages turning. The vivid descriptions make it so easy to see it all playing out in my head as if I was standing right there with Hailey and Mercy as they made their way through the faerie realm.
Faeries and Fangs has quite a bit of humor as well. I was laughing out loud on several occasions. All the characters seem so real like someone you would want to be friends with or at least have on your side in any situation. Hailey may be a witch and a vampire but she still has a good heart and soul. She tries to do good for everyone.
Hailey ends up in the faerie world after performing a powerful magic spell that lands her there. A curse has been placed on Hailey. Hailey is trying everything in her power to break this curse. She does not like the predicament this curse has placed her in.
I sorely enjoyed this part of Hailey’s adventures where she ends up in the faerie world. I love the faerie world and their magic and their homes. The world-building on this one is exceptionally well done. I can’t wait for more of Hailey’s adventures to see where they take her next.

My oh my, a lot happens to Hailey and Mercy doesn't fare to well either in this book. And myself, being a reader "of a certain age," LOVED the nod to C.C.R.! Anyway..........
Hailey, Mercy and Willie had to contend with so much. I mean a sorcerer, a faerie King, a self proclaimed faerie Queen and a faerie Empress. And if that wasn't enough, Hailey gets cursed, twice. They find unexpected allies and deception at almost every turn. Poor Hailey can't even have $e× with Connor or anyone anymore. I can't tell you why but it's a doozie.
Mercy even verbally admitted something to Hailey that proves she does have a heart. No pun intended. I about fell over.. Mercy and Mel end up having to leave NOLA which broke my heart. Again, I can't tell you why but you need to read to find out. However, the good news is that we are getting a new spinoff series!!
The real shocker was something we find out about Willie. I think I even let a f-bomb or two fly. He's a brave little Wee Willie Winker and helps the girls along the way. He acquires something at the end that's really amazing and I hope it works out for him.

Like an Energizer Bunny, Monroe is unstoppable!
I sometimes wonder what it must be like to live in Theophilus Monroe’s mind. With other authors this thought has never occurred to me, but with Theo? Oh heck, yes!
Reading one of the books in the Eden Gate saga is a it like riding a rollercoaster with a blind dfold. You know there’s a sharp turn, or maybe a loopty-loop coming, but you have know 🪪 ea what it is or when it will happen.
He builds some of the most convoluted, wrapped up, inside-out, backwards-spinning, soul-stealing, soul-returning, surprising, obvious, nope even more surprising plots that it has been my pleasure to read. He turns things in every possible direction and just when you hope you have it figured out, he tosses in another twist.
The amazing thing is does this all while keeping a storyline moving forward and keeping you engaged with and invested in the characters - and he’s done this through over 30 books so far. If you haven’t read the entire Eden Gate saga, you should. It is by no means necessary to enjoy this book, but when you see the grand design and how it all fits together, it’s a bit awe-inducing. ENJOY

Our heroine gets to visit the fae realm, although not intentionally. She might just get to learn some new tricks, if they don't kill her first. Which could come in handy fighting off her enemies, assuming she can get out of here. Sigh. Nothing is ever easy.
This is book five of the series. It works rather well as a standalone with all the essential bits covered early on. You will be missing some of the backstory, but nothing essential to enjoying this book. That being said, after reading this one, you will want to go back for the earlier ones anyway.
This is an urban fantasy story with witches, vampires and more. The story is well written and easy to read, but at the same time it is also rather deep and complex. The setting is well developed with lots of details that provide new twists all the time. Similarly, the characters are well done with distinct personalities and often conflicting goals. All of it combines with a fast paced plot that is full of action, intrigue and mystery. Overall, this was a great story and I definitely need to go back for the earlier books.

Another fun read in this series. I love Hailey and Mercy together and now with the addition of Wee Willie it makes for hilarious reading! Throw in a bit of Pauli as well and you have the beginnings of a great story!
I loved all the action and twists and turns in this one involving the fae - they sure are a devious lot! Although I do think Hailey is a bit naïve and far too trusting of them at times and it definitely got her into too much trouble!
Can't wait to see how Mercy now deals with the return of someone from her past and Hailey deals with her new change! Going to be a very interesting ride for the both of them!

Once again, my two favorite bitches er I mean vampire witches are at it again saving the world one bite at a time. They are now guardians of their local gateway to the other realms since the former Gatekeepers have been forcibly retired. They are in the process of investigating the latest foray of apparent evil doers who have come over to our side. Sweet Hailey has to flee for her life on being hit with a deadly curse with Mercy and Wee Wille tagging along for moral support. Lets just say it only gets worst as she is once again forced to take another step along her evolutionary journey that will have her flipping from wanton to horny in the biblical sense of the word. How will she ever survive?

Received as an ARC, I am leaving my honest review. This series just keeps the reader immersed while the task set before Hailey and Mercy takes shape. With the help of fairy Wee Willie, they create a plan that will prevent the Unseelie kingdom from infiltrating earth, and destroying life as we know it. Plans go astray, Mercy gains a complicated curse and trying to undo it, just creates more havoc. Typical of this author’s style of writing, the brilliantly laid out plot is full of action, nail biting moments, emotional turmoil and mind bending moments where twists and turns will keep you glued to the pages

The only way to cure it is to get ingredients from the Seelie forest but once there she finds the Faerie King's been expecting her ...
A great read with vampires, witches, shifters, faeries and more. There's fast paced action, drama, magic humor and some great twists. I look forward to reading the next in the series, "Monsters & Mambos".

Well, first it helps if you're immortal too. Then dabbling a bit in witchcraft to become more powerful couldn't hurt. Finally, getting your hands on a magical weapon that's even more powerful than the fairy? That's all you need, with a bit of luck.
Mr. Monroe's mind must be a fascinating place. Thankfully, he shares his visions with us mere mortals who haven't had the privilege of living amongst the trolls, fairies, vampires, demons and other beings.

With the constant action from our Blood Witch Hailey there is no rest. Another situation presents itself that take Mercy and Hailey to Mercy’s hometown. Wow a fast read with the adventure and action as these two try to solve one problem after another. It seems Hailey always finds herself in a bind of some sort. This story is no different. I’m curious to see where the author takes Hailey from this delicate dilemma.

This one has it all, crazy faeries, blood, magic, sacrificing for the greater good, and an old ‘friend’ comes back into the picture.

Audiobook: I enjoyed book 5 of "The Blood Witch Saga" series. Hailey was transported to another place when one of her spells went awry. This story reflected her journey while trying to escape. The story was humorous and filled with zany moments. I really enjoyed the characters of Hailey and her comrades. Kelley Hazen's narration was fine as her expressive voice kept my attention, but the voices of the faeries, although amusing at first, became rather annoying at times. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Faeries and Fangs (The Blood Witch Saga Book 5), my thirty-fourth read from author Theophilus Monroe. Theophilus Monroe has become one of my favorite authors in the last year. Although he's slowed down in his writing the quality of his writing has not! Well written & enjoyable read, the fifth in his Blood Witch Saga series. I was given an Audible copy of this book (and own a Kindle copy as well so I could read along while being read to) & am voluntarily reviewing it. I enjoyed reading Faeries and Fangs (The Blood Witch Saga Book 5) By Theophilus Monroe, that I received through StoryOrigin, and definitely recommend. In this book for the first time one of Hailey's spells backfire and the spell reflects back on her. She ends up in the Faerie realm and the Faerie King doesn't take kindly to intruders. Will she find a way to get out of there and will she find a way to stop the sorcerer? This book also has other twists that I enjoyed. This book is available on Amazon

Faeries and Fangs was my first read by the author. It's the fifth book in this series, but there was enough background given that I had no trouble figuring out relationships and what had happened before. The story has a fun cast of characters, a unique take on vampire origins, and great world building, especially in Fae.
The narrator did a good job with the narration and with all the different voices. I always knew which character was speaking. There were a few times the fairy voice jarred me, but only during longer dialogues, and it didn't detract from my enjoyment of the story overall.

Faeries and Fangs (The Blood Witch Saga #5) was a great read by Theophilus Monroe. Hailey Bradbury is a Hedge Witch and Vampire. Her sire was staked just moments after she turned. She learned her art from the Voodoo Queen. She finds that one of her spells backfired for the first time. She tried tracing a sorcerer in a blood prism but he was too powerful. She never believed the spell would be reflected back on her. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author. I loved Kelley Hazen's narrations and the life she brought to the characters.

This is book 5 in this fantastic series. I would highly recommend reading from book one it has amazing characters, fantastic world building, and terrific storylines. It keeps you reading to the very end. It’s a must read definite page Turner, this author never let you down. He is a very talented author. I’ve read many of his books series and individual books and have never been disappointed. I would definitely highly recommend this book and the whole series check them out.

Yet another amazing tale from Theo! Mercy and Hailey are off back to faerie land with Willie to save the world again! The gates have been left open and unguarded and allowed a evil sorcerer to wreak havoc in Mercy’s hometown.
In their battle to gain control, they are deceived and make some discoveries that may change their opinions.
As always, this book is full of suspense and twists with the odd dad joke thrown in the mix. Just the right mixture in my opinion, and a great lead into the next book!

It's sad to find out that, regardless of your superpowers, you were bested by deceit, no matter that the perpetrator is dead and his forces vanquished after all. And if you want what's good to prevail and remain true to yourself, you have to vanquish yourself first.
I like Hailey and it bugs me that Hailey and Connor seem to not get to be together, fate keeps intervening again and again. So what's next?.

I love this series/world. The characters are fantastic once again. With this book it one problem after another. They solve one only to have a bigger one hit them. There were quite a few times I was laughing out loud getting weird looks from my family. Hailey and the gang are some of my favorite characters I have come across. Can't wait for the next one.

I love Hailey and Mercy. This was a great adventure for the two of them. So much happened to them that will change them in the future. Poor Ramon and his bad choices never end. Exeter is just not a great place. This is definitely one of the better books in the Hailey series and I can’t wait to see how the next one goes and if Hailey and Connor overcome. I received this as an ARC and this is my honest review.

Action packed, intense reading with Monroe's trademark humor and pop culture references. What's not to love?
It's hard to say too much without giving away spoilers. Mercy and Hailey both get some surprises when they go to check on why there is a large number of fledglings close to Mercy and Ladino's lairs. I'm really enjoying this series!.

Geez what slse can happen to Hailey. This story has so many great characters. The humor will make you laugh and you won't want to put it down. Hailey finds herself stuck in the faerie realm after a spell backfires.The king isn't happy with Hailey's presence at all. The Faeries she encounters are small but powerful. They hope by teaching her their magic that she will be able to defeat the sorcerer. I am really enjoying this series.

Hailey gets duped by not just one but two fairies. The first turns out to be a succubus demon and now Hailey is also one. The second fairy gets Hailey to stop the druid Mug Ruith from creating a fairy forest in the human realm. This story is full of action, ending with a cliffhanger. Very highly recommended.
