About the author

Chelsea M. Campbell grew up in the Pacific Northwest, where it rains a lot. And then rains some more. She finished her first novel when she was twelve, sent it out, and promptly got rejected. Since then she's written many more novels, earned a degree in Latin and Ancient Greek, become an obsessive knitter and fiber artist, and started a collection of glass grapes. Besides writing, studying ancient languages, and collecting useless objects, Chelsea is a pop-culture fangirl at heart and can often be found rewatching episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Parks and Recreation, or dying a lot in Dark Souls.

3.5 stars, another story with Little Bigfoot and Nessie, I enjoyed it more than book one. If you like Weird Stories from the Lonesome Cafe or The Van Gogh Cafe with their mythical creatures, you'll want to give this graphic novel for kids and tweens a try.

This time we are heading to Nessie's place and seeing her side of this which is great! Well... not for Nessie. She has a overbearing mother and Bigfoot is trying to get her to stand up for herself. It's really quite lovely. I love the spiders in the book and it is too funny when they are trying to eat Bigfoot's haggis pie. Keep an eye out for the spiders, they are hilarious. I really hope this series continues!

I'm still charmed by this series.

Bigfoot and Nessie go to Scotland in a direct continuation of the last book (this series is episodic but remembers what happened before). Nessie takes the spotlight with an overbearing but well-meaning manager mother.

It was funny and rewarding to watch Nessie finally find her voice.
