Dotty is missing and the bounty hunter who broke heart is found dead with one of her pink curlers in his hand. Mae needs to find Dottie, prove her innocence, and find the real killer before she or anyone else gets hurt of the murder gets away.

This is a fun trip back to Normal, KY. The mystery was full of twists and turns and moved at a fast pace. I finished the book in one evening. I love the characters, reading the books feel like visiting old friends. However Dotty is one of my favorite characters with her missing and then being a little down, I missed her snarky personality. Although we did get a small amount of it at the end of the book.

All thoughts and opinions are my own, and I have not been by anyone.

Another excellent addition to the series!

Mae gets sidetracked from meeting Willie Nelson to discuss taking wedding photos when a stop at Smelly Dog has Mae finding Colt Lincoln dead. Colt is a famous bounty hunter on a TV show who broke Dottie Swaggert's heart after leading her to believe he came to Normal to meet her. In Colt's hand, he's holding a pink hair curler that Dottie is fond of using. The sheriff has Dottie as his number-one suspect. To make matters worse, Dottie's whereabouts are unknown, nor is she answering her phone. Is Dottie hiding something?

Mae was trying to focus on her upcoming wedding and not get involved in any more sleuthing, but worry about Dottie has Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies digging for clues. Abby put her skills to good use by finding some pertinent information about Colt, who received a big payout, and following several leads, one being a motorcycle gang that just had rolled into town.

I enjoyed this story! I didn't know who was being upfront and could be trusted. I'm pleasantly surprised by Ellis as she proves to Mae again that she's more than a pretty face. Perhaps, Ellis has inherited some gumption from Agnes, whose sweet grandmotherly disposition can be deceiving.

I received a complimentary copy and have voluntarily read and reviewed this book.

Hammocks, Handguns, & Hearsay Earns 5/5 Wet Dogs … Clever Cozy Fun!

Mae West was just carrying out a mundane chore by taking Hank’s dog Chester to Smelly Dog Groomers, but she was greeted by Orlene Roth screaming, then fainting, and Chester’s barking alerted her to the dead body of Colt Lincoln, a popular television bounty hunter. Curiouser? A pink sponge curler, Dottie Swaggert’s curler, is found in his grasp. Dottie had casually dated Colt, but when she discovered his true motives she kicked him to the curb and publicly trashed his reputation. With this high-profile murder, Normal, Kentucky, is going to be flooded with every tabloid snoop looking for a big story, but there’s also a bunch of bikers rolling into town for a big gathering. Problem? Dottie can’t be found.

Tonya Kappes sure keeps each book in her A Camper & Criminals Cozy Mystery series fresh and entertaining, and with this thirty-first book, a popular television personality becomes Normal, Kentucky’s newest casualty. A bounty hunter is the perfect victim considering all the criminals he’s nabbed on national television, not to mention he told people he was hunting a “skip.” Readers are inundated with hidden agendas, ulterior motives, and even organized crime to complicate the investigation, but closer to home, Mae’s friend, Dottie, as a possible woman scorned, is a prime suspect. But, why is she missing and her trailer, as well as the victim’s, searched and not by the sheriff? It gets “can’t put down” complex, intriguing in its varied scenarios, and filled with some creative investigating and undercover work putting Mae and her Laundry Ladies in jeopardy. Add to the drama a motorcycle convention, wedding planning, Kappes’ signature humor and southernisms, plenty of friends’ and family’s and fur friend’s antics, and a shocking, perilous arrest for a fun, clever read!

As a series addict, I’ve greatly enjoyed the rural setting, camping environment, and southern flair inherent in the characters, the businesses, and the activities. I’ve enjoyed Mae’s realistic evolution from a selfish, entitled trophy wife to a caring, loyal daughter, friend, and fiancée. She’s strong-willed, clever, and self-sufficient, but values the connections she has with her family, friends, and Hank. Her adoptive mother is a bit pushy about the wedding plans, sometimes forgetting all of Mae’s responsibilities, the Laundry Ladies are an entertaining diverse group, Dottie is still the comic relief, and I enjoy the Recipes and Camping Hacks from Mae West and the Laundry Club Ladies at Happy Trails Campground: (1) Cinnamon and Blueberry Campfire Bread and (2) Ham and Bean Soup Over the Campfire, and check out a couple of Camping Hacks to make life easier, convenient, or earth friendly. All together … I enjoy popping in!

Disclosure: I received an ARC from the author. My review is voluntary with honest insights and comments.

“ Hammocks, Handguns & Hearsay” the 31st instalment in the "Camper & Criminals “ Mystery series by Tonya Kappes. I absolutely love this series!

Grab your hammock and your bug spray, and join Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies on a wild ride through Happy Trails Campground, where the only thing more dangerous than the handguns is the gossip.

In this instalment we have Mae finding Colt’s body with a pink sponge curler in his hand! No way does Mae believe Dottie did this so her and the laundry club ladies are trying to solve who murdered Colt!

The mystery was really good, with several suspects and a few red herrings thrown in.

I’m full of anticipation/excitement for QUESTIONS, QUARRELS, & QUANDARY Book 32 as I want the wedding to happen!

I highly recommend you read this series from the beginning and enjoy the escapism as much as I do.

Ughhhhhh why is Mae going 10 steps back and being so incredibly TSTL!!!!! Ughhhh this was a good storyline ruined by Mae falling back into old patterns and for me that ruined the tone of the book. You want characters to have made progress by book 30, not stuck in old behavior patterns from book 1

These are getting a little more... intense? I'm not sure if that is the correct word, but they've been (30 books so far) textbook cozies, and the danger is becoming a bit more prevalent. Mae is being allowed access to more information, and even being officially consulted by the police, so maybe that's the slight change in tone. Whatever the reason, I am here for it.

This was another good mystery in the series. Mae and the laundry club ladies are trying to figure out who killed Colt. He was a famous bounty hunter. This causes them to have several possible suspects. Thankfully they solve the murder and all is well for now.

This is a really cool storyline!! Motorcycle gangs, famous bounty hunter with his own TV show. Unlikely people to be at the Daniel Boone national Forest. The storyline is so twisted; Who is working for who? I enjoyed this book so much I just didn't want it to end!! But I can't wait for the wedding!!

Wow! The Laundry Club Ladies really have their hands full this time! I was stunned at every plot twist! It seems as if every time Mae marvels at the beauty of a sunset, the masses of stars in the sky, or the forest sounds at night, within minutes it becomes an eerie, dark, foreboding place.

The day started well until Hank, Mae’s fiancé, dropped her off to get his dog, Chester, groomed at the Smelly Dog. After she walked in, Mae heard a scream and Orlene, one of the groomers, ran from the back room. Chester went back and started his hound dog howl. On the floor of the back room is the dead body of Colt Lincoln, the famous reality TV bounty hunter with one of Dottie’s favorite hot pink sponge curlers in hand. Thus begins the highest profile case to ever hit Normal, Kentucky.

Colt Lincoln had come to Normal after meeting Dottie online, giving her the impression that she was the reason he came with his fifth-wheel and his big fancy pickup. It didn’t take long for her heart to break when she learns the real reasons he was there.

Sheriff Al Hemmer, who Mae likens to a young Barney Fife, has asked her to help him with this case, which is a first. Does he finally appreciate what she and her closest friends, the Laundry Club Ladies, accomplish when they look for whodunit? Bless his heart, he wants her to bring in Dottie, who he plans to have in jail before the media vultures circle. And for the first time since coming to Normal and taking over the Happy Trails Campground as its new owner, Mae has no idea where Dottie, the long-time manager and her dear friend is.

The more that Mae, Hank, and her friends find out about Colt, the harder the case gets. The stakes are higher than ever and the clues lead to the most dangerous folks they have ever faced. They even infiltrate a motorcycle convention where some of the riders are heavy into gun running and other assorted crimes. Knowing who to trust is imperative, yet impossible to discern.

I love watching the interactions between Dottie and the rest of the world, especially with her Dottie-isms. She is one of my favorite people in the series, and I hated the thought that she could get railroaded off to where the orange jumpsuits don’t go well with her pink sponge rollers. All the Laundry Club Ladies bring a unique talent and flair, and I enjoy each of them for their strengths and at times, their weaknesses. Ellis is becoming so mature under the influence of her new hubby, Ty, and Mae. We really can become better versions of ourselves, depending on the company we keep!

Have Mae, Hank, the Laundry Club Ladies, and Al met their match this time? Colt wasn’t who he seemed to be on his TV show, and many of the bikers aren’t either. One thing we do know, is that Dottie is still the same person she was before, other than a bit wiser. I couldn’t have figured out whodunit to save my life, but maybe you can! If you are a fan of camping, Southern cozy mysteries, challenging mysteries, and of course THIS SERIES, you won’t want to miss it! I highly recommend it!

From a thankful heart: I received an electronic ARC of this novel, and this is my honest review.

A Campers & Criminal Cozy Mystery, Book # 31

Synopsis:

Grab your hammock and your bug spray, and join Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies on a wild ride through Happy Trails Campground, where the only thing more dangerous than the handguns is the gossip.

When famous bounty hunter Colt Lincoln is found dead in the Smelly Dog Groomer, clutching a sponge curler that belongs to Dottie Swaggert, Mae West and the Laundry Club Ladies know they've got a real doozy of a case on their hands. Despite Colt's catfishing ways and the fact that he'd parked his fifth wheel camper in Happy Trails Campground, owned by Mae and run by Dottie, they know their friend couldn't have done it.

But that's not all - Mae's mama, Mary Elizabeth, is breathing down her neck about finalizing her wedding plans with her fiancé Hank. With a killer on the loose and the campground buzzing with rumors, Mae's got her hands full.

As Mae and her pals weave their way through the hearsay and red herrings, they uncover a web of deceit that threatens to take down more than just Colt. With the killer still on the loose and time running out, Mae must use all her Southern charm and camping know-how to catch the culprit.
Will they catch the killer before it's too late, or will this case be the one that got away?

Review:

When Mae takes Chester, Hank’s dog, to the groomer, she finds a surprise. She finds Colt, a bounty hunter, dead. And to make matters worse, Dottie is missing. The Laundry Club Ladies have their work cut out for them trying to find Dottie and the killer.

The writing style flows smoothly and the book is an easy read. The author is very talented in her descriptive writing and these descriptions pulled me into the story from the very beginning. The mystery was well plotted and it was not easily solved. There were enough clues to sift through and suspects to consider and I was not sure who the killer was until it was revealed at the end.

I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys a well crafted cozy mystery. You have to love the Laundry Club Ladies and their sleuthing.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book and provided my honest review.

If you need entertainment with a little mystery mixed in, look no further. This newest book in the series (and this entire series) will provide you with comic relief, good mystery and a chance to escape into the world of Normal, Kentucky where things are not always "normal".

Once again Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies are in the middle of a murder investigation when Mae finds the body of a famous bounty hunter, Colt Lincoln. Colt recently broke Dottie's heart (one of the Laundry Club members), and lo and behold he is clutching a pink sponge curler. If you know Dottie, you know she is famous for her pink sponge curlers and her cigarettes. Dottie has mysteriously disappeared, so it does not look good for her. Mae and the ladies know Dottie would never hurt a fly, much less kill someone, but first they need to find her. It soon becomes apparent that the ladies are in the middle of a mystery that is getting more complex and dangerous by the day, but if you know these ladies you know they never give up.

I dearly love this series and the characters in it. The ladies are quite a group. You have Queenie who is the exercise queen and dresses like she has been transported directly from the 80's with her shiny leggings, off the shoulder sweatshirts, fanny pack and headband. Dottie is by far my favorite character. This lady is a hoot. You never know what she is going to say. She has no filter, but she also has a heart of gold. The entire cast of characters are good old southern girls that I could fit right in with and have some fun conversations. The description of the scenery at Happy Trails Campground will make you want to go buy a camper and go camping.

If you need a little humor along with a good mystery, you will enjoy this book. You do not have to read the entire series, but you will be hooked once you start one of them. This is another five star read for Tonya Kappes.

Thank you to the author for this ARC. I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Hammocks, Handguns, & Hearsay is the 31st book in the Campers & Criminals series but it’s as fresh and exciting as the first book. Reading Hammocks, Handguns, & Hearsay is just like coming back home to Normal, Kentucky. I love the familiarity of the characters, the hominess of the setting, and the comfort knowing Mae and the Laundry Club ladies are keeping everyone safe.

One of the newest characters, Cole Lincoln, is found dead in the dog grooming salon. In his hand? One of Dottie’s sponge hair curlers. With all clues pointing to Dottie, Mae, Hank, and the Laundry Club ladies know Dottie didn’t do it, no matter how mad she was at Colt. Now, Mae and the rest of her crew find themselves up against motorcycle gangs, convicts, and a twisted web of deceit. All of this while Mae and Hank’s wedding is coming in hot.

The author kept me guessing about the person responsible, as well as the motive. There ends up being several characters who have obvious reasons to be on the suspect list. It just took some time to logically sort things out. The book was full of twists, turns, red herrings, and shifts in direction. The mystery would start out going one direction, then completely shift a new way. The suspense build-up was written well and intensified until the very end.

As with the rest of the books in the series, the mystery isn't the only thing going on in the book. Tonya Kappes did a terrific job weaving the main storyline and several smaller ones together. The characters are wonderfully crafted, realistically written, and I feel like I'm coming home to Normal with every book in the series.

I was provided a copy of this book to read.

All Mae wants to do is enjoy the plans for her upcoming wedding. Last time, as she says, was a quickie and this time she wants all the trimmings. As the story begins she is ready to meet with Willie Nelson (no, not that one, this is the guy who lives in the forest) to arrange for him to do their wedding photos. Before she can do that she makes a stop at the Smelly Dog, the dog groomer. Time to say bye-bye to her plans when she finds the dead body of famous bounty hunter/tv star Colt Lincoln laid out on the floor in a pool of blood. Within minutes of arriving on the scene the police are after their prime suspect - Dottie! The police won't be able to get very far in their efforts to find Dottie if they don't get Mae and The Laundry Ladies on the case. Yes, Mae had sworn off catching killers, she really did try but Dottie is in deep trouble and that overrides everything else.
Soon enough Colt's secrets, past and present cases are being scrutinized and it turns out he was on the trail of a biker with a hefty bounty that would have Colt set up for life. Now the bikers are in town and things heat up. So it's not just find Dottie but then this is, after all, Normal, KY where nothing is normal.
If you are new to this series, welcome to Normal and get ready to binge read one of the funniest cozy mystery series ever penned. Mae, the Laundry Ladies and the rest of the town will keep you laughing, entertained and guessing who done it from the first page. What more would a cozy mystery reader want? The next book in the series, of course.

This instalment read in order is perfect as it's take place just where the last one finished so they could be read back to back with pleasure. Mae is preparing her weddings and she had plan to put aside sleughting to do so but when Dottie get suspected by Al for the murder of the famous bounty hunter Colt, her "boyfriend" she must investigate even more when it's with Al permission for once.

Mae and the group are a bit overwhelmed with Dottie disappearance, Colt murder, and when they discover that Colt was investigating some one else it could lead to more than they can chew. How is trustworthy? who are traitor? Who was Colt? so many question and when another bounty hunter start looking around it just complicate matters....so much that wedding preparations are put aside ( or let to mary Elizabeth).

I loved it! it was really interesting and to see the little competition between the two groups was funny especially when he Laundry club is not doing it to be famous at all. Hank is also helping, letting Mae do what she does best.

The investigation is really well written with several twists adding to the tension but with enough humour to make it a great southern cozy mystery.
the ending also give a sense of closure, no cliffhanger this time and it make us enjoy the atmosphere even more.

Tonya has done another amazing job with the Camper Series. She is simply amazing!!

Here comes to town this big famous Bounty Hunter who claims he plans to steal Dottie’s heart. He make her feel it’s all about her. But is it really? Does he have another purpose for being in town. No, one knows the truth and he found murdered in the Smelly Dog Groomer shop with Orlene standing over the body when Mae walks in.

Has Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies gotten in over their heads this time. They have a big high profile murder on their hands. The sheriff has enlisted their help before the investigation began. But as the ladies start to dig more and more into what they think is just murder it run deep into the mob. They want to keep the Fed’s out of their town so it doesn’t hurt their tourism business. But time is running out and one of their very own Dottie is a suspect.

Did Dottie kill him because he broke her heart? But she isn’t answering her phone for anyone to ask. Mae has to finalize her wedding plans and get new bridesmaids dresses since the other ones caught fire. She needs ti meet with Willie Nelson about photos for the wedding.

Mae has a lot on her plate with very limited time to solve the murder and planning of her wedding day.

I am an advanced copy reader and this is my personal opinion.

Hammocks, Handguns, & Hearsay is another exciting installment in Kappes' camper and criminals cozy mystery series. Mae finds herself in the middle of a murder mystery that truly hits close to home when her best friend, Dottie, becomes the number one suspect. Colton Lincoln, the bounty hunter who pretended to be interested in Dottie hurting Mae's best friend deeply, is found dead. The Laundry Club ladies must solve this one and fast especially when Dottie is discovered missing. The stakes on this case are truly high.

Kappes delivers an entertaining mystery that captures the reader's attention from the very beginning and never lets go. Mae and the girls are really tested in this book with Dottie being the number one suspect. I loved seeing my favorite secondary characters back because I think they really add to the story. I also loved how Kappes really made the stakes so high which kept you eagerly turning the pages to see what happened next. The book's mystery was well done full of many twists and turns. Overall Hammocks, Handguns, & Hearsay proved to be a great read that I would most definitely recommend.

Welcome back to another fun adventure with Mae and The Laundry Club Ladies. This time the murder involves a well know bounty hunter. He has a television show and has found himself in Normal, Kentucky. I loved how the author brings excitement to the story with danger right from the start. Once again one of Mae’s friends is accused of the murder which puts Mae in a fight to solve the mystery. Our ladies are still feisty and full of shenanigans as they wade through the evidence.

Motorcycles, Mobs and Guns oh my does this story have it all. The secrets are many and the truths are hard to find in this fast pace story. I love following Mae as she unravels the clues while finding herself once again in danger. Mae finds herself getting closer to the truth while back at camp, a couple’s bridal shower was being planned. Leave it to the ladies to keep priorities in place.

The ending is very good with suspects coming forward, undercover work being exposed and a killer caught in a web of deceit. I can’t wait for the next in this series to be available. For now I say see you soon Mae and friends. Job well done.

Another wonderful book in the series that you just can't put down. With lots of chuckles and some serious sleuthing, Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies are at it again. This time the primer murder suspect if one of their own - Dottie! Dottie was asked to bring Hank's dog to be groomed at Smelly Dog Groomers. When she came in, she came upon the famous TV bounty hunter, Colt Lincoln dead on the floor of the shop. The problem is he is holding one of Dottie's pink rollers and a pack of her cigarettes. The fact that Dottie dated him and kicked him to the curb when she found out she was being used make her the prime suspect according to the sheriff. And now Dottie is missing! Add to that, a motorcycle convention is in town and Mae still has to finalize her plans for her wedding to Hank. Although she didn't want to get involved with finding the murderer, it is Dottie after all and she is missing. So Mae and her Laundry ladies take us on a roller coaster ride from beginning to surprising ending. I love this series and can't wait to see what they will get up to next. I received and ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

What has Dottie done? That appears to be the question as Colt Lincoln is found murdered at the Smelly Dog Groomers clutching a pink foam roller. Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies don’t believe this for a second and off they go investigating. It doesn’t help that Dottie goes missing and that makes her look guilty.

There are many layers to this story. There are bikers, mafia, guns, and let’s not forget wedding plans and a shower! There were so many different things going on that it kept the story interesting. A missing Dottie, Pastor Alex gets shot, is Terry innocent like he says he is, is Randy Cush Colt’s killer, and will Mae and Agnes make it out of the sheriff’s office alive?

This was an enjoyable story and I love the quirky characters in this series. The sheriff is such a joke in his bumbling around, but that also adds to enjoyment of his character. At least he knew to ask Mae to help this time from the start due to the high profile standing of Colt.

Bring on the wedding!!! Yes, I’ll admit I’m impatient for the big event. Each story brings us closer to the big day and I can’t wait.

This one will Curl(er) Your Toes!

Mae stumbles over another dead body in Normal KY, but something is different. Colt Lincoln, bounty hunter, media star, and heart-breaker, is dead on the floor of the Smelly Dog Groomers. This time something is different…he appears to be clutching one of Dottie Swaggert’s pink curlers. One of the Laundry Club Ladies is a suspect in his murder. The hunt is on to find Dottie and the murderer, all while planning Mae and Hank’s wedding.

Along with Hammocks, Handguns, and Hearsay, this book is filled with motorcycles, murder, and (soon-to-be) marriage. As usual, this 31st book in the Camper & Criminals Cozy Mystery Series kept me guessing until the end, when the criminal is finally revealed. With each new installment in the series, we learn more about the Normal community, and it feels more like visiting family. I highly recommend this book (and the previous 30 ones too). Get a blanket and spend the afternoon with the Laundry Club Ladies in Normal, Kentucky.

Oh no! Colt Lincoln the Bounty Hunter has been found murdered with a pink curler in his hand! Mae is on the case to prove that Dottie had nothing to do with the demise of this deceiving man. After all, he did use Dottie for information and pretend he was interested in her! It’s a great motive, which means Mae and the Laundry Ladies need to work fast to figure this one out! Seems like Colt Lincoln was in town hunting down a big skip for his TV show, one that was sure to bring in the viewers! To make matters worse, Dottie can’t be found and Colt’s trailer has a stash of hidden money. With Dottie missing, things don’t look good and Mae knows she needs to get to the bottom of this before Dottie takes the blame! On top of Colt’s murder there is a motorcycle gang in town and wedding plans to set. It’s a good thing Mae has her friends and family to help her solve this one!
This series keeps you guessing and gets better and better. When you pick up a book, it’s like reconnecting with good friends! I am not required to leave a review.

Mae was originally supposed to meet with Willie Nelson (not that one) to talk about wedding photos, but when dropping Chester off at the Smelly Dog, Orlene runs out of the back room and fainted, alerting to a dead body.. which happens to be the body of Colt Lincoln, holding a pink curler just like Dottie wears! What else would happen after a murder in Normal, but a meeting of the Laundry Club Ladies?

As the ladies dig in to clear Dottie’s name, they find out that Colt has been trying to take down someone from a motorcycle gang for a couple of years, but when they discover there could be mob involvement, have they bitten off more than they can chew?

Meanwhile, Mae has Mary Elizabeth trying to settle on wedding decisions, while everything around them goes every which way during this murder investigation, until the killer is revealed, taking me by total surprise. I absolutely cannot wait until the next book in the series. I received an advanced reader copy of this book, but all opinions are my own. Read this series!! And anything else by this author!

Mae is trying to put sleuthing behind her and focus on her upcoming wedding by getting pictures accomplished, but a stop at Smelly Dog changes everything when the deceased body of famous bounty hunter Colt Lincoln is found. To make matters worse, he’s discovered clutching a pink hair curler that Dottie uses regularly. Unfortunately, this detail instantly makes Dottie the sheriff’s prime suspect, and it’s up to Mae and the Laundry Club Ladies to find the real killer and prove Dottie’s innocence.

Abby is very helpful in finding out some important information about Colt and a payday he received, and the team even learns there is a new motorcycle gang in town that could be connected to Colt’s murder. We also learn that Colt broke Dottie’s heart by deceiving her to believe the reason for his trip to Normal was to be with her.

Hammocks, Handguns, and Hearsay is another winner from Tonya Kappes and I absolutely loved reading it. I’m eagerly awaiting our next visit to Normal.

Mae is trying to plan her fall wedding to Hank and things seem to be going so well until Dottie turns up missing and Cole turns up dead. Mae was just doing a favor for Hank and dropping Chester at the Smelly Dog to get groomed when she stumbles across the dead body of Cole the bounty hunter...incidentally the same guy that just broke Dottie's heart by dumping her. To make matters worse clutched in Cole's hand is a pink sponge curler that Dottie always uses. Mae gets the Laundry Club Ladies to start investigating to find Dottie and clear her name. Add to that a motorcycle gang in town, a missing fugitive and the preacher is kidnapped. The Laundry Club Ladies definitely have their work cut out for them on this one. Can they solve this in time and clear Dottie and Mae still be able to enjoy her couple's shower? This is another great book in this series. As far as I'm concerned Tonya can keep writing these books for years and years!

This is book 31 in the Camper & Criminals cozy mystery series. When a well known bounty hunter is found un-alived in the local dog groomers guess who is caught in the middle, Mae West (no, not that Mae west). Mae and The Laundry Club ladies are on the case to solve what could have possibly happened. Unfortunately, their very own Laundry Club Lady, Dottie Swaggert, is the prime suspect. Will the Landry Club Ladies be able to prove her innocence or will she be leaving Happy Trails Campground for good.

Yes, I said that right! 31st book in the series! They quick cozy mystery stories that are very fast paced. I absolutely adore them! I stumbled upon them with my grandmother. She found the author and we decided to read the series together! I do listen to the series in audiobook format and I just love it! I have been around these characters for so long I feel like I know them personally. The character growth since the first book is amazing! I can’t wait to continue with the series!
