Another good read, just a very enjoyable series really, although I did find the complicated ins and outs of the overarcing storyline a bit much this time around. Savannah is borderline annoying with her tendency to go off half cocked, but she does learn from her mistakes so all to the good. Kye is the ultimate in sin and sexy and Draigon make a good match to finish off the threesome. Some interesting leads to other storylines with potential here as well although I don't believe the author has ever gotten around to writing them.

We read about Savannah in the first book of this series she was Krista's friend. I liked Savannah from the first time I met her and she didn’t disappoint in this story. With each new book we get more information on the Amato and the Vesti. I have to say that Ms. Strong has done a wonderful job of world building and I continue to look forward to each new book she writes. One of Savannah’s mares is Kye d'Vesti, Lyan's cousin. While Kye isn’t genetically a match for Savannah she is his mate. It is both sad and amusing reading as Kye finds Savannah and then learns that she is a genetic match for an Amato that doesn’t like his cousin Lyan. With all this drama going on we also find that Savannah has put herself in the line of fire for some very bad people that want her dead or worse.

Kye has been working on earth for a while finding and guarding potential mates. He enjoys being on earth and has done a very good job. Kye is the more laid back of the two men. He has a wicked sense of humor and because he has been on earth longer he understands Savannah a little better. He has also been with Savannah as she starts the investigation into underage call girls. Like all the men from Belizair he very protective and very passionate. He would rather that Savannah never put herself in danger again but he understands that police work is her calling and she would be unhappy without the outlet it gives her.

Draigon d'Amato is also a bounty hunter and law keeper. He is much more serious than Kye and he is not really excited about claiming a mate. He would rather be able to find one from the females of his own kind that choice has been taken away from him. He is also not thrilled with having Kye as a co-mate. Draigon is willing to allow it since Kye has already saved Savannah’s life and has a connection to her that will pave the way for him. It is wonderful to watch Draigon let down his guard and accept things that he never thought he would allow. It was also refreshing to find that he has a sense of humor and a playful side that only Savannah seems to bring out.

Savannah Holden was raised on a ranch and was the only girl in the family. She is 100% tomboy and has learned to deal with men by dealing with her brothers and the cowboys on the ranch. She is brave, compassionate and adventurous. There is little that scares her and she goes out of her way to help those she can. She longs to be a detective but he Captain isn’t ready to let her have that promotion. Savannah is also very perceptive and intelligent. Her mind putting together clues quickly and with wonderful accuracy. She definitely keeps Kye and Draigon on their toes keeping her from finding out their secret. I like Savannah mainly because she never crosses into the bitchy know it all female so many authors write about. She is willing to compromise and stay back when it is necessary.

Two males, FBI agents, with the Fallon gene are introduced in this book. It will be interesting to see when they will get their story. It will also be interesting to see if there has to be a third like all the other matches so far. These stories are quick reads that fill a day with excitement and hot, sweaty sex. I continue to love all these stories and look forward to the next book in the series.

I have read these all out of sync.
I read this first book 3 then book .05 the prequel then book 4.
I have enjoyed it.
There is a lot of sex in these books. This book is about 2 more Vesti and Amato men chosen to mate with a human female.
Kye d'Vesti was guarding Krista when she went to see her friend Savannah. Upon seeing her his mating frenzy kicked in. He presumed that she was his chosen. He took some of her hair for testing. She wasn't his mate. She was matched with Draigon d'Amato. He went and told Draigon. Showing him via the mind join everything about his mate. Draigon agreed to accept Kye as his partner in the bonding as Kye had already fallen in love with Savannah.
Savannah being a police officer made it hard for Draigon to adjust. The Amato and Vesti are warriors sworn to protect and treasure their females. Taking a back seat while Savannah is chasing after criminals and her life is put in danger because of under aged prostitution.
Draigon is a stick in the mud and follows the letter of the law. Savannah brings out his fun side. He loosens up and in the end as she accepts the bonding and claiming and that she must reside with them on their home planet, they reveal who they are, mate and then stay on earth. As she accepted them they accepts that she has a job to do and as she is not like most other woman chosen, part of a huge family she will miss and they will miss her. They are following the letter of the law
A great read. A good story. Lots of sex, but it's not central to the story as it is in the other books.
Looking forward to continuing the series.

Finally got to this book. Read the rest of the series first and in order but skipped this book as the description just didn't pull me. It was a very good edition to the series. Yes, the heroine does a few stupid things as a police officer that wants to be promoted but she also shows her intelligence by putting the puzzle pieces together. Of all the books this had more of a tame story than the others and the sex was passed over after the initial scenes but I thought that made it flow better for the back story.

The 2nd, co-mate, doesn't show up until 1/2 through the book and in this one, the two are not close and comfy friends, far from it. Also Savannah is a part of a big family; in all the other books the heroines have no close friends and no family, so it is easy for the men to take them away. I think that in the end Savanna shows her strength and intelligence. The men with Fallon genes add a twist to the Fallon and Bor-Narga story. I hope that Ms Strong writes the stories for the women of Bor-Narga but it looks as though she has stopped the series, so we can only imagine.

Very good erotica with a decent story the whole way through.
