A crippled ballerina and a Special Forces cat shifter dance a dangerous and magical pas de deux, dodging assassins and discovering the undeniable attraction that sizzles between them.
Could she really be his fated mate?

Captain Dennis Palmer is auditioning for a spot in the infamous shifter mercenary company known as the Wraiths. His first assignment is to track down the Alpha female’s long-lost sister and make contact. The leads are slim, but he travels to Sacramento and the one link they have with the woman – a record of employment by a small dance studio.
The ethereal woman Dennis spies through the window, teaching a class of adorable toddlers in pink tutus, captures his attention and stirs his cold heart. He’s not sure if she’s the woman he came to find, but he doesn’t care. He has to talk to her. He has to breathe in her scent and see if she could possibly be the one woman he never dared hope to find.
Then, a sniper’s bullet breaks the studio’s giant plate glass window and he leaps into action.
What is it about this mystery man that compels her so?
Sunny doesn’t move like she used to. Her days as a prima ballerina are over due to a crippling car wreck the previous year. She’s only just able to get out and about on her own, taking on a teaching role for her friend who owns the dance studio. When a strange man appears after the window shatters, she doesn’t know what to think, but her instincts clamor at her to trust him.
Why does she feel so safe with him? And why does she agree to see him again? She doesn’t understand her own instincts when it comes to this man, but there’s a tingle of magic about him that draws her like a moth to a flame. She has to find out more.
Magic, danger, and mystery await, if she’s not much mistaken. Along with the adventure of a lifetime and a man that just might be the one to make her life complete… If she dares to try again.

yay!

I’m thrilled that the author is returning to Lenora’s storyline! I’ve long wanted to learn how this would play out, and seeing old “friends” while watching Den and Sunny fall in love was wonderful. Can’t wait for the next book!

Dance of the Dryad Brotherhood of the Blood-Wildwood
Bianca D’Arc
Bianca D’Arc writes all sorts of Paranormal Romance about shifters to vampires to magic users and many others too. I first noticed her when I found the Redstone Clan 1-3 about brothers Grif, Red, and Magnus Redstone. She uses all the best story skills to lead you into a great read about the people and wonders contained in it. Each story may contain sadness, heroism, whimsy, intrigue, battles, history, love, suspense, romance, adventure, or a mixture of all of them! While reading they allow the reader to immerse themselves in the world described, you feel like you are seeing the story live. One will laugh about something on one page but in a few more, might be thinking, where is this taking us from here? You also will find Bianca extends her stories by linking the worlds with characters, places, adventures and magic.
“Dance of the Dryad” actually continues an adventure seen during “Wolf Hills” the story when detective Sally Decker and alpha Jason Moore meet when computer expert Carly Valandro invites friend Sally to vacation in Wyoming and meets her mate Professor Dmitri Belakov. The story then treads through “Wolf Quest” where Wraith leader Jesse Moore is sent to check on vet Maria Garibaldi and another adventure ensues!
Sunny Stockton is a magical prima ballerina that has been recovering from a tragic vehicle wreck where she almost lost her life. She finally gets to where she can walk again, starts trying to pick up her life and go forward. Captain Dennis Palmer is a just retired Spec Ops werecougar auditioning for the Wraiths and Major Jesse Moore. Dennis is sent to Sacramento to seek out and check on Sunny on behalf of her long-lost sister. Someone shoots at Sunny, sending Dennis into protective mode. They get-away fleeing to Wyoming, discovering love and desire neither thought they would ever encounter.
While each book tells one tale, there are several others just waiting to break out and be heard! Bianca is a master at leaving you enough bread crumbs to want to seek out more. I have really enjoyed being lead down one another only to find another!

Dance Of The Dryad Wildwood #1 12/26/2022

Sunny is working with some kids when someone shoots out the front window after getting the kids to safety a very nice guy show up to make sure everyone is ok. Sunny doesn’t know that he is there because he was sent by her sister to find her. You see Sunny doesn’t know she has a sister because she was adopted. Den is a shape shifters and now that he’s found her he just knows she his mate but first he need to protect her from the bad guys. So enjoy this good read and see what happens!!

What a great read.

Loved Sunny and Den, my question however is when the studio was shot up why didn't they call the police?
Sally and Maria turn out to be related to Sunny one is the sister the other a cousin. Interesting how Sally and Sunny both ended up either in foster care or adopted. Sally and Maria are on a mission to find their relatives (7 in total)to help remove Leonora from the willow and heal her. Based on what Sunny saw there is another one coming. Hmmmm is she in Night of the Nymph?

good quick fated mate romance

This story was a relatively quick one (194 pages), but don’t let the shorter nature turn you away. Our FMC, Sunny, is recovering from a career-ending injury and when gunshots happen when she’s filling in as a dance teacher, she meets Den, who also happens to be her fated mate. This sets us up well for a future good vs evil battle and has lots of side characters to round out the story. Quite enjoyable.

Another winner

This is another great book in this series by this author. I have been a fan for many years and will continue to be a big fan because of so many great books like this one. Great characters. I love how the group has been expanded and more characters have joined. I can't wait to read the next book in this installment.

it was ok ,too much internal conflict & chatter from Den of will she wont she..he's a mountain lion shifter he needs to quit "pussy footing" around and make his intentions known>for me it just didnt trip my trigger as the story plots were all over the place.someone else might enjoy it but i like my shifters strong and growly

Really nice to get back to Leonora's family! The earth elementals didn't learn about abilities as they grew up, but have taught themselves. As they learn more about the magical side of life, their personal ife also flourishes. Well worth reading and I look forward to meeting more of the family and finding put who their partners will be!
