The third book in the series sees the heroes of the Rebellion rushing to the planet Delrakkin, where the Empire plans to wipe out the population and frame the Rebel Alliance for the attack.

This book isn't as good as Book 2 and doesn't do a lot to expand the ongoing story being told across this series.
Add to that the fact that it's a gamebook aimed at younger readers and includes a frankly tedious amount of playable encounters and you're left with a pretty unremarkable book overall.

Interestingly, however, this was the first time that I realised that the 'you' featured in the second person narrative/playable parts of the book is supposed to be Luke Skywalker.

A fun read with each book being another chapter in one overarching story.

More exciting than the previous two instalments (bonus space battles) and the Imperial plot is also becoming more interesting. I'm now used to skipping through the game sections.

I didn't notice the rough draft feel to the book this time. It's weird that they called a turbolift a hydrolift though.

This story was better than 1 and I enjoyed the humor in the missions section.
