My neighbor is a huge, undeniably powerful Minotaur.
You heard me right—a Minotaur.
With curved horns on either side of his head and a heavy gold ring that pierces both nostrils. He’s often shirtless while he tinkers with his motorcycle, which exposes a sweaty six pack of abs and the intricate tats that sleeve both of his muscular arms.
Tonight, on Halloween, my insufferable neighbor is throwing yet another raging party with lots of rowdy guests, and it’s continuing way past curfew and late into the night. I’m so very tired of this behavior.
That’s it—I’m marching over there!
I arrive in a short robe and fuzzy slippers, ready to let loose with a verbal barrage.
His front door swings open and the Minotaur’s heated, possessive gaze travels from the top of my messy bun, along the length of my curves, to the tips of my painted toenails.

This series has the same premise for every novella. After a dreadful Halloween night, the people who drank a special punch started morphing into monsters and they now all live in a little town called Screaming Woods. (Although this time, the author called the town 'Screamer Woods')
Twenty years ago, Bruce had his life all figured out until he drank that potion that changed him into a minotaur. His fiancé at the time left him as she couldn't love him and the change that he went through. If he was solitary before, he became even more after his transformation. On the other side, we have Lucy, a hairstylist who moved to Screaming Woods, seeing the opportunity and benefits to live in this town. She moved into a house beside Bruce's and automatically, she gets a bad impression of him, until she realizes she might have misjudged him.
Bruce was sweet and protective but was also driven by his instinct to mate with Lucy. As soon as he got to see her up close, talked to her, inhaled her scent, he instantly knew she was special. Never he'd felt this way for anyone, not even his ex-fiancée. He imprinted on Lucy and his need to stay close to her, be with her, only got worse as the full moon approached. What was great about him is that we could definitely sense his reason fighting with the feral, primitive side of his minotaur. He was in fact a big teddy bear under that grump.
As for Lucy, she was sweet and understanding. She was very accomodating to Bruce's situation. If at first she assumed things about him, she quickly realized how wrong she'd been about him.
I liked the idea of the maze driving Bruce to fall into his more primitive side. The author did a great job using the mythology surrounding minotaurs and wrote it in an interesting way. All that paired with a good pace, passion and romance, I don't really have anything to complain about. The only tiny thing I would've liked better was the ending, that I felt was a bit too rushed and unsatisfying. That also includes their mating, as the buildup to it was great but the scene was too short. I would've liked more pages and more details. Overall, the story was very well paced, there actually was a build up of desires that I find lacking in most of the stories in this series.

I literally can’t sleep without her scent in my lungs. It’s ridiculous but true. Her pheromones are affecting me. I want to knock her up. And I’ve felt on edge this last month, but I wasn’t sure why. Then I saw the corn maze being built and it’s calling to me in a primal way. And now there’s the trifecta of maze, full moon tomorrow night and available female who I want more than any other in my entire life.-Bruce

This is is exactly what I’ve come to expect from this author. A lovely, easy read with great characters in a very nicely fleshed out world. I’m usually left feeling satisfied when reading a Michele Mills book, but also curious and hopeful for more in the series or world. This book is on my reread pile and the author is firmly listed on my 1-click, no questions asked list.
I waited for and snatched myself an ARC when I heard one would be available, because I wanted to read it NOW NOW NOW, not in a week and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.

The cousin got off lightly. It was your typical girl likes the bad guy next door, but minotaur version. Bruce was actually quite sweet, up until his break Lucy's heart to keep her safe moment. The corn maze was inventive.

I absolutely loved this book. I have one complaint only about this book, which is a novella and not a full-length novel. The introduction to the world and how monsters came to be was really interesting. The romance was on point, sweet sexy and yes monstrous. If you like that kind of thing and you want to enjoy all the above then this is the book for you.

4.5⭐️ Very cute and fun story! I loved the spice. The story was a bit all over the place but it’s a novella so I gave it lots of grace.

They are neighbors and she mistakes his cousin for his gf who likes to throw parties. She confronts him about the noise and all of this… whatever it is ensues.

I am really enjoying these Monster Between The Sheets books! Michele Mills is one of my favorite authors..she does monsters incredibly well and Bruce is one of her best. He is sweet, but growly. And sexy, definitely sexy. Tho at one point I wanted to smack his head so hard his horns would fly off! Lucy is awesome. She's beautiful and strong . The characters feel like real people who might live next door. The story is engrossing so i didn't want to put it down. I love the humor Michele works into her books and I absolutely love that she makes the impossible seem real. The multi author world building in this series is so well done it is seemless between books. I recommend this book and this series.

Absolutely loved this!! Lucy moved to Screaming Woods to open a hair salon. She moved in next door to Bruce who was changed into a Minotaur 20 years earlier when he drank the Halloween punch that changed the towns humans to monsters. Bruce was lonely and didn’t think anyone would want him after his fiancée left when he changed. Lucy was furious with his loud parties and went to give him a piece of her mind! Things were not as they seemed and Bruce recognised Lucy as his mate straight away! Sweet, steamy story with amazing chemistry, lots of love, a possessive hero and a beautiful HEA.

Bruce and Luck have been eyeing each other up since she moved in next door to him a month ago. Who would have thought going to his house to complain about the noise would cause the sparks to fly. This is a great read with instant attraction and very sweet Minoaur. I love Michele Mills books.

I liked this take on the series. No one was hiding, everyone knew who was who. Bruce and Lucy, wow, talk about hot. I love how he imprinted on her. Good story.

Hhhm, So I've found a Monster's Between The Sheets book I don't like. I mean, I like the overarching story - a loner protecting his heart and realizing he has just stumbled across his soulmate - a golden retriever FMC and small business success. There were too many things that annoyed me. I need to read a better Minotaur story but for now - not hitting any of the spots.

Plot/Storyline: The writing was too choppy, too rushed, grammar blunders abound. It just felt like the writer put this together whilst waiting for a bus or something.
Characters: The Minotaur had a few layers of interest. The golden Retriever FMC could be replaced with any FMC from any book she was that forgettable.
Epic/Badass/Suave: I guess the hulking size of the Minotaur - but again, not my thing.
Favorite scene/quote: The Maze scene at the end was almost worth the schlep.

Lucy (h) moves to Screamer/ing Woods into a house next door to Bruce (H), a minotaur, with horns, gold ring through the nose, tail and hooves. For the first time in years, Bruce finds himself attracted to a woman but is convinces that she couldn’t be interested in a minotaur like him. As the pair gets to know one another, things get ultra-hot and steamy, though as the full moon approaches Bruce worries what his minotaur will do. Hot and steamy monster romantic quickie with chasing, imprinting, breeding kink and more.

This is part of a series by a bunch of different authors. They share a town, and there he ad been some general information that's shared between the series.
This author didn't even get the name of the town right- in all the other books it was Screaming Woods, not screamer.
It's frustrating when I've read the rest of the series, there are minor details that carry from one story to the next- this author made up her own crap. Some was way off on what had already been established by multiple stories and it was super distracting.
Some details hadn't been covered in the earlier stories so that was kind of ok. But the tone of this whole book was off and didn't fit.
I sort of enjoyed the characters and their story, but it was incredibly hard to focus on the story with do many mistakes to the series.

I loved this until things get mean, it’s a good story but I’m a bit pedantic I demand an apology for humiliation especially public humiliation, doesn’t matter his reasoning he was hateful and he really needed to beg forgiveness not just be let off.

Bad Boy Minotaur de Michele Mills dentro de la serie Monster Between the Sheets
Argumento:
Mi vecino es un enorme e innegablemente poderoso Minotauro.
Me has oído bien: un Minotauro .
Con cuernos curvos a ambos lados de la cabeza y un pesado anillo de oro que perfora ambas fosas nasales. A menudo está sin camisa mientras juega con su motocicleta, lo que expone unos abdominales sudorosos y los intrincados tatuajes que cubren sus musculosos brazos.
Esta noche, en Halloween, mi insufrible vecino está organizando otra fiesta furiosa con muchos invitados ruidosos, y continúa más allá del toque de queda y hasta altas horas de la noche. Estoy muy cansada de este comportamiento.
Eso es todo, ¡estoy marchando hacia allí!
Llego con una bata corta y pantuflas afelpadas, lista para dar rienda suelta a un aluvión verbal.
Su puerta principal se abre y la mirada acalorada y posesiva del Minotauro viaja desde la parte superior de mi moño desordenado, a lo largo de mis curvas, hasta las puntas de mis uñas pintadas.
Una amplia sonrisa se extiende por sus duros rasgos.
Y él agarra mi muñeca y me jala adentro.
Luego cierra la puerta de golpe detrás de mí.
Mi humilde opinión:
Regresé a Screamer Woods, el pueblo donde viven los monstruos, para conocer a Lucy y Bruce. Y es que después de tan divertida premisa tenía que leer Bad Boy Minotaur!
Lucy es una humana que decidió mudarse y abrir una peluquería en un pueblo donde viven toda clase de monstruos, personas que una vez fueron humanas hasta que un científico loco alteró sus bebidas.
El negocio está yendo muy bien para Lucy, le gusta el pueblo y se lleva bien con todos pero su vecino Bruce la endurece porque no deja de hacer fiestas ruidosas cuando ella quiere dormir por las noches. Es un minotauro y no importa que sea el monstruo más sexy que haya visto con sus tatuajes y motocicleta. No dejará que le robe el sueño.
Me divertí mucho con Lucy y Bruce. Esa fiesta de pre Halloween fue un desastre y ni siquiera la había organizar Bruce? Tampoco tenía novia? Yo estaba tan sorprendida como Lucy al descubrir que era todo un mal entendido.
Me gustaron los protagonistas. A pesar de ser una historia corta sentí que conocía a estos dos personajes.
Lucy era valiente y comprensiva. No era una mujer prejuiciosa, no veía mal a los monstruos y no les temia.. Bruce gruñón y sexy. La historia con la ex fue terrible y entendía porque quería proteger a Lucy. Me gustó las características que físicas que le dio la autora a Bruce y que mostrara la naturaleza del minotauro. El laberinto de maíz y esos detallitos fueron geniales también.
Bruce al final tuvo la familia que nunca pensó que tendría y Lucy el hombre que admiraba desde lejos. Me encantó el epílogo!

I really enjoyed the romance between Bruce and Lucy.. I am glad that everything worked out and they got a happy ending..

This is an OK paranormal romance, but I did have a few issues with it. It gets 2.5 stars from me, rounded up to 3 stars.
First, it was too short to have as much character development as I like. I would have liked a little more backstory on both Bruce and Lucy.
Second, I had a bit of a problem with the couple's age difference. If I understood the story, Bruce was around 50 and Lucy was really young. I get that Bruce had aged slower because of what happened to him, but he was still a lot older than Lucy.
Finally, I really felt like the couple was more in lust than in love, especially at first. They were definitely in lust, but they just hadn't spent enough time together to be in love so quickly. I did believe they were actually in love later, but their relationship definitely started with lust.
My rating system is below.
1 star -- Hated it, or did not finish. I usually only give this rating if some of the content is truly objectionable to me, like if one of the main characters does something really awful, and gets away with it.
2 stars -- Didn't like it. This rating usually means that I thought the writing wasn't very good, the editing was terrible, I didn't like the characters, or it had other major flaws.
3 stars -- I liked it, but had some minor issues with it. This rating means that there were minor editing issues, the story needed more character development, it was just too unrealistic, or had some other fairly minor issue. The majority of books I read get this rating – I do not consider it a bad rating.
4 stars -- I liked it a lot. This is a high rating for me, and I rarely give a higher one.
5 stars -- I loved it, and will probably read it again. Very few books are good enough to get this rating from me. The ones that do are usually classics.

Bruce was one of the unfortunate people twenty years ago who drank Dr. Karloff's punch on Halloween. He found himself turned into a monster, a minotaur in fact. His fiance broke things off with him when it became know there was no cure. Now Bruce finds himself stuck in Screaming Woods because he can't hide his monster side. He lives alone and stays away from other people. He has no interest in company until his new neighbor moves in. Lucy is a regular human but is very beautiful. Bruce is very drawn to her but he feels that he should stay away because he has the minotaur inside.
Lucy was specially chosen to move to Screaming Woods. The government provided her a salon to start her business and financial benefits to allow her to have her store and a home. She is happy with her new life except for one thing. Her neighbor is a minotaur and he seems to frequently blast his music at night keeping Lucy up. She has tried complaining but when she talks to the woman that she thinks is her neighbor's girlfriend, her complaints are blown off. One night Lucy is very annoyed. Her neighbor is having a crazy party with lots of loud music. Lucy has done everything she could think of to go to sleep with the noise but its not happening. She storms next door in only her short robe and pjs. When she arrives, she soon learns that the "girlfriend" is just a cousin who has been throwing parties behind Bruce's back. Bruce is very kind and Lucy is very drawn to him. Now can she convince Bruce that she is attracted to both sides and that she is sure his minotaur would never hurt her?.

I'm a little torn on how I feel about this one. I generally enjoy this author's work, but this one fell a little flat for me. Partly because the name of the town was referred to as Screamer Woods and all the other books have it as Screaming Woods. I realize this is a relatively small issue overall, but it REALLY took me out of the story whenever it was mentioned (and unfortunately it was mentioned often). Because of that, I noticed other editing issues that I likely would have ignored if I'd been immersed in the story.
Anyway. A minotaur and a human. Things happened quickly between Bruce and Lucy, but that's the type of book this is. OTT heroes and heroines who fall madly in love with one another at first glance are sort of the norm here. If I'd been a little more engaged in the book overall, maybe it wouldn't have bothered me as much, but the whole "we're just friends" thing felt overdone.
I didn't love Bruce's cousin at any point (including the end) and I thought her showing up to basically vet Lucy on Halloween night to make sure she was good enough for Bruce was weird considering how horribly inconsiderate she was for the bulk of the book.
Again, I'm torn on how I feel. I've enjoyed this series overall, but this one didn't really do it for me.

I was excited to read finally about more 'animal' monsters. While each one of these have been interesting, I really like reading the paranormals that we don't typically see.
Bruce as a human was a bit of a unruly teenager. After the Halloween party that changed his life the town still viewed him as the same unruly and moody man that he was, but with his minotaur nature now it's only seemed to amp up these characteristics.
When Lucy moved in next door to Bruce, she never really saw much different and the woman living with him isn't any better. This is until one night during a wild party, she really gets to know who Bruce is...and he's nothing like she first thought.
This story was good.
I will say it was a bit different from the others previous to this one. Which is kind of a pet peeve of mine when it comes to these series written by different authors. Why is it that Bruce's minotaur caused changes in Bruce on a full moon like it did? Because this is never mentioned or happens to anyone else it seemed a bit as if the author was going off on her own way with the story.
Also...I hate that the town name in this one was CONSTANTLY written wrong. It's Screaming Woods, but in this book it's written Screamer Woods.

Bruce has really been run through the mill after drinking the spiked punch which turned him into a minotaur. He'd worked hard to put his somewhat troubled youth behind him and become a soldier. More things were broken that night than could be repaired and he lost everything. He became a gruff and bitter recluse. That was until the stunning human woman with the golden hair came to live nextdoor. Suddenly the world is not so dark as he now has a light but could she ever come to care for a monster? Lucy has been watching her minotaur neighbour through her windows for the past month and sighing over him. No one seems to know much about him and neither does she aside from his liking loud music. One night it all becomes too much and she marches over there to get the music turned off except it seems that allows for another switch to be flipped instead. How can she convince this huge male that she likes him as he is when his past has proven that could not be the case?
I loved this book. Bruce is such a sweetheart and you cannot help but fall for him and hope that these two great characters end up together.

Wow I really enjoyed this book it was fast paced and there where moments when I laughed out loud. Lucy is a hairdresser who has just moved to Screaming Woods where monsters and human live together and she is trying to get her business going and having sleepless nights because of the noisy neighbors is driving her crazy but when she sees the sexy Minotaur working on his motorcycle half naked she can’t stop spying on him through the window. Bruce is a Minotaur but not by choice when at a Halloween party the punch was spiked turn them all into monsters but after 20yrs of living alone and had noticed the gorgeous human Lucy next door but never acted on his interest and when his cousin Emma comes to stay but she likes to party a lot and when Lucy comes over to confront them about the loud music he takes her inside and kicks everyone else out so he can explain that it’s not him but his cousin Emma. Bruce feels a pull towards Lucy and he knows she is attracted him and they start a hot and steamy relationship. Great book.
