Storytime-worthy story of a kid tired of being bitten by bugs all the time, so he decides to bite them back. Will he see the value of some bugs? The bugs are all drawn in vibrant colors with lots of fancy designs, so that even though they aren't realistic, they are kind of cute. The thick black outlines will help make them visible during storytime.

A little boy who is tired of getting bitten by bugs decides to bite back - by making a bug sandwich! As he goes about collecting bugs he finds that there is much to admire in them; after catching lots of bugs in a jar he has second thoughts about the sandwich he is making. Fun book that would be a great summer read for small children!

This picture book doesn't deserve to be given more than 2 stars. It was dumb and boring. I know I'm not the target audience for this one, but I like my picture books to be fun for the adults to read since they are the ones reading to the kids. Picture book authors have yet to learn this for the most part.
