Unlocking the secrets of the mysterious G-spot, this deliciously wicked trio of stories includes "Terms of Enticement," in which Liz Hart, who has never had the big O, discovers that no faking is necessary when she takes a skilled new lover. Original.
Jodi Lynn Copeland lives with her husband and two children minutes from Michigan’s state capital. She learned early on that family and friends and love and laughter are the most important ingredients in happiness. While attending Central Michigan University, she discovered her love for writing and that those same ingredients blend for the perfect romance. Over the years and across the genres, Jodi has found that one thing remains the same…a dash of heat and humor and a heaping spoonful of love make for the best recipe of all.
Jodi’s books have received various awards and commendations, including 4½ Star Top Pick reviews from RT BOOKclub Magazine, Recommended Reads from The Road To Romance and Reviewer’s International Organization (RIO), and nominations for such awards as the National Reader’s Choice Award, the EPPIE Award and the Lauries Bookseller's Best.
Three women who have never been able to orgasm find each other online and form a support group named Operation G-Spot. Some of them are able to get off with toys, some not at all. But one thing is certain, they’re on a mission to fix that. And there’s no choice but to succeed.
This book features three stories ranging in length. The first one featuring Liz and her brother’s friend (who is a player) was the longest. It was something like half of the book. The chemistry between the two characters was great. I liked the happy ending (though it was a little sketchy there for a second when Kristi from story two turned up).
The second story features busty and somewhat prudish Kristi who makes sex toys for a living was fun to read. Why? Because she ends up landing not one, but two sexy exotic dancer guys (Read: strippers).
However, the last story featuring lawyer Fiona was just…odd. The storyline featured a cartoonist who was using Fiona as inspiration for his serial killer character. His reasoning was because she was the lawyer who let the drunk driver who killed his old girlfriend go free. I just couldn’t get into the story. Both characters in that, plus the general plot failed to appeal to me. Hence why this collection didn’t receive five stars.
The writing is really good in all of the stories though. Yes, the plots are a bit cliché but I wasn’t expecting high literature. Everything is nicely tied up at the end of each vignette. And the sex scenes are extra steamy (yes, this IS erotic romance).
So grab this if you need your own support group for missing orgasms.
3 independent women on the search for the elusive "0" and then man (or men) who can give it to them.
I really liked this anthology based on a group of 3 internet friends who can't have an orgasm with a man (and in one instance not at all). They call their group "operation g-spot", and they are desperate to find the men who can give them want they want more than anything.
This was a fun read for me. I liked the characters, I liked how different the women were, and I liked that here was a book, a romance book that didn't portray the female heroine as "the multi-orgasmic ideal". I thought that the sex scenes were handled tastefully and weren't over the top. I feel that this anthology could appeal to those who love their smut, like me, as well as those who prefer to leave a little more to the imagination.
This is my first book from this author, but I was so pleased that I will go looking for more.
When I picked up this book, I didn't read the back cover. I thought I was grabbing a history of sex style book. Surprise! THIS IS EROTICA!
Which isn't to say that it doesn't have interesting plotline. Three interconnected stories about three women who met through a chat room for women who've never had orgasms with a man. They are on a mission (Operation G Spot) to find the man who can! I laughed out loud at several parts.
This was a fast read and actually pretty steamy, but there was a lot of cheesiness and cliches. It reminded me of a girlie porn movie, where the plot is secondary and trite. The steamy bits are well-written, but overall just an ok book.
