I only listened to the short story The Clockmaker and His Daughter by Tobi Ogundiran from this magazine collection. A fantasy tale with a strong message about colonialism, it begins as a story about a clockmaker father and his ill daughter who are dealing with their town being taken over by invaders. He is desperately trying to find a cure for his daughter from a mythical fruit within the castle walls but is betrayed by a fellow villager. However, the story ends hopefully and the familial love is heartwarming.
