I had originally picked up the anthology because Merri Bright and a few other familiar reverse-harem/omegaverse authors were in the anthology.

Overall, it was an entertaining read, even though there were some issues with repeated chapters and the Kindle app thought the book had ended after Merri's short story when there was still one story left. I appreciated that these were all full short stories and weren't just incomplete sneak peeks of planned future releases.

Knot Mine by Jarica James
Rating: ★★★☆☆
Tags: alpha-omega, reverse-harem, enhanced-humans

This was a Grove City Omegas short story that followed the FMC omega Dakota as she returned to her hometown of Brighton for her sister's wedding and ended up running into her exes. It was a extremely fast-burn second-chance story with lots of impulsive decisions. Most of the short story was their reuniting orgy. I would have liked more grovelling rather than immediate forgiveness and insta-lust.

Hidden Heart by M.J. Marstens
Rating: ★★★☆☆
Tags: alpha-omega, reverse-harem, enhanced-humans

This was a fast-burn short story that followed the FMC omega-omega Lunella as she started her heat during her sister's wedding and had to retreat to the carriage house and ended up engaging with the alpha pack that was staying upstairs with her scent.

It was a fun smutty read, but honestly, adding more designations than just alpha-beta-omega was confusing. Designations such as alpha-alpha (who had double knots at both top and bottom), gamma-omegas (who couldn't reproduce), alpha-deltas (who only had one knot), and a few others were introduced. The ending with deciding to for her supposed HEA was a bit much, but the overall story was entertaining.

This was Omega Match short story following the FMC omega MacKenzie/Kenzie as she met her pack match during a meet and greet hosted by her academy. There were some confusing plot holes, like the mention that Kenzie couldn't contact them after the meet and greet for reasons, but a few pages later, she said that she was in a group text with the men the whole time. Overall, it was a cute fast-burn story with trivial character development, but it ended very abruptly after the smut scene for a standalone story. I wasn't convinced of their HEA at that point.

This short story followed the FMC omega Anna as she ran into her boss Liam and his pack at the supermarket after leaving her housing during her heat to desperately buy some chocolate. It was a simple smutty read with enough character backstory to make sense. I was a little annoyed that M/M was introduced and hinted at, but none actually appeared in the story. There were also some grammar issues in the story, like "there is far too many choices" and not capitalizing the first word in a sentence of dialogue. However, it didn't detract too much from my enjoyment, and I would re-read this story again.

Earthquake Omega by Juniper Kerry
Rating: ★★☆☆☆
Tags: magic, musicians, reverse-harem, m-m-romance, telepathy, alpha-omega

This short story followed the punk bar owner FMC Odessa when a natural disaster suddenly magically created ABO designations in the world. I wasn't a fan of this story - punk as a description wasn't super helpful for someone who wasn't into the scene, and the sudden magical alpha-omega personalities, insta-lust, and bonding were not real consent for a proper romance. Nothing was explained before each man rushed into a relationship with Odessa, and everything was literally blamed on their biology. While I understand that it was a new change upon all of them, I would rather there be some critical thinking and some attempt personal reflection when faced with new decisions.
---
Un-Packing Piper by Calliope Stewart
Rating: ★★★☆☆
Tags: alpha-omega, reverse-harem, enhanced-humans, new-adult

This short story followed the FMC omega Piper as she agreed to an arranged marriage to allow her sister Paisley to pursue her dancing dreams at the Omega Conservatory. I found it a little hard to believe that , but Paisley's planned spin-off book would likely give more logical insight on the decision (hopefully). However, I probably won't check it out based on previous unsatisfying experiences with the author's books.

I also had issues with Piper being revealed as a virgin omega that needed everything explained, considering her education and that she was literally about to be married with all the expected consummation afterwards. Additionally, it was not very satisfying to have months pass without details of how Piper and the men spent the time getting to know each other as neighbors. There were also a few capitalization grammar issues, which seems to be an ongoing issue with this author based on my experience with other books, but those were minor compared to the issues I had with the plot and its pacing.

Lavender Moon by Sarah Blue
Rating: ★★★★☆
Tags: alpha-omega, sex-workers, reverse-harem, m-m-romance, enhanced-humans, new-adult

This short story followed the FMC omega Luna as she and her stepbrother (and his pack) finally revealed their attraction to each other and didn't let societal norms get in the way. It was an entertaining kinky smutty read with a virgin omega, and I enjoyed all the relationships in the story.
---
Last Chance Omega by Grace McGinty
Rating: ★★★★☆
Tags: alpha-omega, animal-sidekicks, enhanced-humans, mercenaries, bars, reverse-harem, academy, dystopia

This was a short story in Omega Lottery universe that followed the newly-revealed omega FMC Zaley and her reuniting with her ex-friends/lover from her childhood. While I was not a fan of US vs. Canada dystopian politics in the end, it was a fun smutty second-chance read.
---
The Bargain by Sabrina Day
Rating: ★★★☆☆
Tags: alpha-omega, new-adult, shifters, m-m-romance, reverse-harem, enhanced-humans

This short story was a Hidden Omegas prequel that followed the FMC omega Nina as she sought to escape her planned bonding set up by her parents for her safety. The lack of consent for spanking during their intimacy wasn't really my cup of tea, and Nina was a little too overly bratty for my taste. Additionally, the background on the men was a little confusing since I don't recall the details from the first book of the series I read, but it seems like there will be another novel released that follows Nina and her adventures.
---
Omega's Climb by Aisling Cousins
Rating: ★★★★☆
Tags: alpha-omega, reverse-harem, post-apocalyptic, telepaths, enhanced-humans

This was a short story set in a post-apocalyptic world where Betas "oversaw" Omegas inside a wall while Alphas lived outside to defend them all against some monstrous Scourge. There wasn't much detail about what the Scourge were, but the FMC omega Nissa escaping the abusive betas and her new-found alpha pack were a good insight into the society. I would be interested in more novels in this universe.
---
The Mended Omega by Merri Bright
Rating: ★★★★☆
Tags: alpha-omega, reverse-harem, gods, magic, enhanced-humans

This was a short story set in the Lost Lines universe that follow the FMC omega Cilla who had been brutalized by a feral alpha and needed time and space to recover. It was a fun sweet read, a great addition to the universe, and I'm always down to read more from the author.
---
A Beta's Loves by Flora Quincy
Rating: ★★★☆☆
Tags: sex-workers, alpha-omega, f-f-romance, menage, enhanced-humans

This short story was a smutty interlude at the opera between the beta courtesan FMC Sarah and her male alpha, set up by her female omega lover that detested and couldn't stand alphas. There were a lot of open-ended questions about their relationships, but I would be willing to explore more novels in the world even though historical is not really my cup of tea.

I participated in this anthology but also read all of my fellow authors. There is something in here for everyone. All the stories run pretty much on the sweet side and are mainly all reverse harems. Help us raise money for Ukraine by downloading on kindle unlimited or purchasing the e-book. This is a limited time only so make sure you don’t miss out.

love a good knot

This was a very solid collection of authors and stories. The FMCs were all fierce and the guys where some dirty talking, hot, Alphas. I was honestly only here for Sabrina but I’m so glad I went ahead and read the others. I’m back and forth on how much l do or don’t like omegaverse. But I think this would be an excellent place to start if you haven’t read Alpha and Omega stories. This was highly enjoyable

Fantastic Omegaverse Stories!

I loved this anthology! I can’t even choose a favorite, even though several of my favorite authors have stories in this book. They’re all excellent, and all different interpretations of what an omegaverse story is. I’ve added several upcoming books to my TBR thanks to this one :)

I’m usually not a fan of anthologies but this was a nice little collection. Some stories were better than others, but it was a nice mix.

By far my favorite was the teaser for Sabrina Day’s next book. She stunned us all with Fleeing Fate and it looks like she’s got another great story in the works! That’s the one out of this anthology that really had me on the edge of my seat.

I absolutely loved everything about this anthology! This is the first anthology that I’ve read all the stories in it! They’re were all amazing! I discovered authors I didn’t know and my TBR has grown a lot 😅😂! Most of these short stories were 5 stars for me, and a minority were 4 stars! So definitely recommend this anthology to anyone who loves omegaverse books! Also know that most of the stories are finished, those that aren’t end on an open storyline and not on a cliffhanger!

A nice knotting anthology

This was a nice knotting anthology. I liked reading new novellas from authors I'm familiar with and being introduced to new ones. There will be several series that I'll be following up with later based on what I read in this book. If alphas and omegas and knots are your jam, you should check this out.

A collection of Omegaverse short stories -- mostly reverse harem Omegaverse.

I enjoyed this anthology for the most part. It had a few duds, but a lot of good ones too.

The stories I enjoyed the most were: Last Chance Omega, Lavender Moon, and In Luck.

My least favorite stories were: A Beta's Loves, The Bargain, and Earthquake Omega.

You can see my review for each book below:

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

Knot Mine by Jarica James (3.5 stars)
(Grove City Omegas, #1.5)
(Read 2/10/2024 to 2/10/2024)
Dakota has to go back to her hometown for her sister's wedding to her new pack. But she has never gotten along with her family and she left the city under less than friendly terms with her former pack. When she runs into them while drinking her sorrows, she has to finally face the past.

I enjoyed this one. A nice second chance romance between Dakota (omega) and her pack (alpha - Monroe, beta - Felix, beta - Austin). I loved the second chance romance trope because it gave us some off page history with these guys and they are clearly already head over heels for her. Loved that. Hate her sister, but glad they rekindled their romance. Sweet. :)

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

Hidden Heart by M.J. Martsens (3 stars)
(Read 2/10/2024 to 2/10/2024)
Lunella goes into heat at her sister's wedding and tries to hide out in the carriage house while she deals with it. But she's caught by a pack that is staying in the carriage house while they are visiting for the wedding -- something she forgot about. But they are more than happy to help her through her heat...and maybe keep her too.

Pretty hot and steamy. I loved them catching her and helping her out during her heat. Hot stuff.

But some of the Omegaverse terms were beyond me. Not sure if these are only used in this world, but I've never encountered the sub-classifications before while reading Omegaverse (gamma-omega, omega-omega, alpha-alpha, alpha-delta, delta-beta, etc). Kind of confusing.

I also didn't love the ending. Seemed abrupt and like there was more story to tell after they take her. But we don't find out what happens and it doesn't look like there's another story for them. Oh well. Still a hot and steamy quickie.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

Their Sweet Omega by Maya Nicole (3 stars)
(Omega Match, #0.5)
(Read 2/11/2024 to 2/11/2024)
Mackenzie is interviewing packs after graduating from her Omega academy using the Omega Match service. She's feeling discouraged when none of the packs feel like the right fit. Until she meets the final pack she's interviewing. They're perfect for her.

This was really sweet with basically no drama. Kind of nice. Kenzie clicks with Javier, Seth, and Ian quickly and they all make things official.

I liked it. A little fluffy. But pretty hot and sweet too. This was the story I picked up the anthology for. Because I wanted to try to read the Omega Match series and this was a prequel to that. Overall I enjoyed it.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

In Luck by Hannah Haze (3.5 stars)
(In With the Pack, #2.5)
(Read 2/12/2024 to 2/12/2024)
Anna is in heat and knows she shouldn't leave her nest. But her roommate ate the last of the chocolate and she NEEDS it to get through her heat -- especially a heat without alphas. But while at the store she runs into her asshole alpha boss (Liam) and his pack mates (Cole and Andy). One thing leads to another, and they all agree to help be through her heat.

Hot sexy and sweet Omegaverse quickie. I really loved Liam's hidden feelings for her. He was actually so sweet and kind of shy about it. Aww. :)

The steam was hot and had all the things I love about Omegaverse -- even DP and double knotting! Yum!

Overall a nice story. I'll definitely check out the other books in this series.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

Earthquake Omega by Juniper Kerry (2.5 stars)
(Omega Girls, #0.5)
(Read 2/12/2024 to 2/12/2024)
In 1980 an earthquake hit that resulted in what they've dubbed the Dynamic Storm, which caused alterations to humans -- turning them into alphas, omegas, and betas. Odessa (aka Dessa), and several men -- Fletcher (aka Fletch), Jacks, and Maddox -- were trapped in her club when this happened. And once it did, they were drawn to each other on a primal level.

This was okay. Not bad, but also just kind of awkward? The premise is an interesting take on Omegaverse. Rather than being born with their dynamics, they are assigned them by a freak storm. Interesting and different take on things.

But it also made it kind of awkward since everything is so new and confusing. They come to terms with things too easily and it all just felt surface level and unrealistic.

Overall probably my least favorite from the anthology so far. Not terrible, but just not for me. I don't plan to read more from this series.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

Un-Packing Piper by Calliope Stewart (3 stars)
(Read 2/13/2024 to 2/13/2024)
Piper promises to marry a pack her father picked out for the sake of a business partnership, so long as her sister Paisley can attend a dance academy she's dreamed of going to. But while at her engagement party, she meets the pack of her dreams (Levi, Jackson, Gideon). And during the months of planning her wedding they try to woo her to their side.

I enjoyed this one. The premise was interesting and them meeting her at her engagement party was a fun twist. I also loved how they followed her to her vacation home and rented the house next door. So sweet!

It was sweet and cute. But honestly I'm even more curious about Paisley and how she does with the original pack Piper was going to marry. The author says at the end of this story that she will get a book -- Packing Up Paisley -- but I don't see that out anywhere yet. Would love to read it.

Overall a fun story. Sweet and fun. I enjoyed it.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

Lavender Moon by Sarah Blue (4 stars)
(Read 2/13/2024 to 2/13/2024)
Luna is in love with her alpha stepbrother, Ian, and has been for years. As an omega, she knows she should be looking for a pack. But no one compares to Ian and his pack (Ezra and James). The problem is they already have an omega -- James. And he's totally off limits as her stepbrother. But Ian and his pack are about to show her how wrong she is.

I really enjoyed this one. It's a really well developed story despite being short. I loved the chemistry between all of them. I'm not always a fan of Omegaverse stories that already have an omega and bring in a second one. But I still loved this. James was awesome and I really liked his snarkiness.

Overall it was a great read. I'd definitely check out more stories by this author.

P.S. I actually discovered that she turned this one into a full length novel, also titled Lavender Moon. Might check it out sometime, but not sure how much different it will be.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

Last Chance Omega by Grace McGinty (4 stars)
(Omega Lottery, #0.5)
(Read 2/14/2024 to 2/15/2024)
Zaley wakes up naked in a hole in the woods with no idea how she got there. Oh, and she realizes she's revealed as an Omega. Not ideal. And with all the legal restrictions surrounding unmated Omegas, she's not sure who to call for help. She realizes her only option is her estranged three best friends -- the Yale Triplets: Will, Xander, and Victor. What she doesn't realize is that they've revealed as Alphas since she last saw them.

This was so cute and sweet! I loved the second chance romance with her childhood best friends/crushes. This made me think a little of A Blissful Omegaverse. But I like how it was done here better.

I loved the chemistry between her and the guys. I loved how they treated her. I loved how sexy they are. Rawr! I loved it all.

This isn't my first story by this author. I also enjoyed her Dark River Days series. She writes good RH's so I will definitely be checking out Omega Lottery too, although it seems a little darker than this novella. I'm still looking forward to it.

Overall great story! Good writing, character and relationship development, and sweet Omegaverse story. Loved it!

-----------------------------------

The Bargain by Sabrina Day (2 stars)
(The Hidden Omegas, #0.5)
(Read 2/15/2024 to 2/15/2024)
Nina is being forced to attend her coming out party as an omega (the Cotillion). Her parents are insisting she choose a pack so she can be safe and so they can make connections in their society. But Nina wants adventure. So she runs away to join The Benefaction -- an organization designed to safe-house omegas and allow them to try out packs before they choose one. There she unwittingly meets Mattias, Tomas, and Raul, who want to keep her for their pack.

I was not a fan of this one at all for several reasons.

First, I found the writing style and descriptions to be confusing and sloppy. I had a hard time picturing the setting. It seemed dystopian, but also there was also this high society feel and she goes to a coming out party (Cotillion) to introduce her to packs. She lives on a wealthy estate, but there's essentially a traveling bordello in her back yard? It was such a random mixture of things that didn't fit together. Also there's a lot of name dropping as if I'm supposed to already know who all these people are.

I also really disliked Nina. She did not sound twenty, but rather like an immature teenager (maybe fourteen or fifteen). She made rash and stupid choices which did not endear me to her. And her voice made the whole story sound like a YA book.

I didn't feel the chemistry between her and the guys. And to top it off they don't even knot her! It was all just a disappointment.

Overall not a fan of this one or the writing style. I don't plan to read more from this author.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

Omega's Climb by Aisling Cousins (3 stars)
(Read 2/20/2024 to 2/20/2024)
Nissa is an omega who lives in a dystopian-like world where a wall separates Alpha lands from Beta lands. Omegas live on the Beta side and are severely mistreated, unbeknownst to the Alphas, who are busy fighting back the Scrouge. Nissa is fed up with her abuse and decides to climb the wall and take her chances. Once over the wall she finds her dream pack.

This was okay. I'm on the fence about dystopian-esk Omegaverse stories. I have to be in a very particular mood for them and I wasn't in the right mood for this one.

But I did like Eilif, Dag, Rorik. They were sweet and attentive Alphas who treated Nissa just right.

Overall it was a fairly sweet story even if the setting was a little gloomy. I liked the characters and the pack they formed. Not sure if I'd read more from this series (if she writes more). Maybe, if I'm in the right mood for it.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

The Mended Omega by Merri Bright (3.5 stars)
(The Lost Lines, #3.5)
(Read 2/21/2024 to 2/21/2024)
As one of only three known Omega's alive, Cilla is a rare breed. Which resulted in a brutal attack by an Alpha that scarred her and left her feeling afraid of all Alphas. But she has been drawn to three Alpha diplomats (cousins: Prince Neron, Hugo, and Demetri). And she desperately wants to tell them how she feels. If only she can overcome her fears before her first heat hits.

I liked this one. It was sweet and a little different as the setting was more fantasy with castles and royalty and whatnot. Kind of fun.

I thought Cilla was cute with her Alphas Neron, Hugo, and Demetri. Although I didn't really understand why she was scared to talk to them but was okay signing to them. It seems the same principles would apply as far as conversing with Alphas.

Aside from that though it was a sweet story of these three gentleman Alphas healing Cilla of her traumas so she can move on with her life with them. I don't think I'll read the rest of the series at this time though.

Note: This was re-published as a standalone novella and re-named The Duchess's Designs.

-----------------------------------
-----------------------------------

A Beta's Loves by Flora Quincy (2 stars)
(Read 2/21/2024 to 2/21/2024)
Sarah, a beta who works as a whore, recounts a night on her birthday when two of her dearest lovers (who are also enemies) shared her willingly. Not at the same time, mind you, but they were willing to let each other have time with her alone.

This was probably my least favorite in the bunch. Firstly, I'm not a big fan of reading FF romance. It's just not for me. Also I was disappointed there was no actual sharing going on. The blurb implied that and that wasn't the case.

It was too short for a real story to be formed. It was just a moment in time. Nothing more. No resolution or anything. The "About the Author" implies there is more to Polly's story, but I didn't see any books about her on the author's page.

Overall it was just too short, not what I typically like in romances, and not well developed. I don't plan to read more by this author.

I jolt and peer straight up into those dark, dark eyes and fuck me but this is very, very real. And I'm not going to turn down an offer like this. -Hannah Haze

Knot Mine - Jarica James
3.5/5 -- Tropes:
With a little editing this could be a decent longer story. Plus, it was was a little too unbelievable that the whole misunderstanding happened in the first place.

Hidden Heart - M.J. Marstens
5/5 -- Tropes:
This was a fun romp and I have zero complaints! The author cut it off at the perfect moment to keep things no-angst.

Their Sweet Omega - Maya Nicole
5/5 -- Tropes:
I really enjoyed the matching process, and her coming home to the pack. I'll definitely check out this authors other works!

In Luck - Hannah Haze
4/5 -- Tropes:
I like a good nest, and Anna's sounded super cute with the fairy lights! The sexual orientation of each of the pack members was interesting as well, I'm not sure I've seen a dynamic quite like that before.

There was something magical about shocking the hell out of a pack of alphas. -Maya Nicole

Earthquake Omega - Juniper Kerry
2/5 -- Tropes:
Okay, this felt super random and did not emulate the feels from the previous anthology books! Earthquakes and fire marshals and rebels oh my...

Un-Packing Piper - Calliope Stewart
4/5 -- Tropes:
If the author ever decided to make this a full length novel, and expand on all the 'in between' time - especially the two months at the 'Bluffs' or beach houses - I'd be 100% in.

Lavender Moon - Sarah Blue
6/5 -- Tropes:
This was my absolute favorite so far! Steamy and fun, I loved Luna's chosen job and how she finally falls into the hands of her stepbrother and his pack. The spice was *chefs kiss*

Last Chance Omega - Grace McGinty
3.5/5 -- Tropes:
This author sounds quite witty, though the heroine's swearing in the beginning ("You fuckers") annoyed me for some reason.

And like the little wrecked praise-kink deviants we are, we all smile when she tells us we please her. - Sarah Blue

The Bargain - Sabrina Day
5/5 -- Tropes:
Oh I *liked* this one. "Prepare her for us." The dynamics were super fun, and despite it being a 'Continue the adventure in this book' ending it did feel resolved.

Omega's Climb - Aisling Cousins
4/5 -- Tropes:
I liked the guys in this one - maybe it was the accents? This story had big ideas - I'd read further in this series!

The Mended Omega - Merri Bright
5/5 -- Tropes:
Cilla's struggles in the beginning were so fun to watch unfold into her heat! I liked Hugo's innocence and the whole debacle -or not- with the note cards.

A Beta's Loves - Flora Quincy
2/5 -- Tropes:
I don't really know that this super short final story fit into this anthology that well. I'm pretending it didn't happen.

"Don't fool yourself, Cupcake. I think you'd love it if I told you what to do. Get on your knees. Don't move. Beg." He gave me a hot look. "Come for me," he purred. - Grace McGinty

🔥🔥🌶🌶 Omegaverse stories

Such an excellent eclectic mix of different omegaverse stories from modern day to fantasy to taboo and even dystopian. Lots of romance  lots of knotting and lots of Omegas and Alphas.

Sarah blue and hannah haze - both equally so 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 🌟5

Sarah Blue - so much spice, MMMF, 5 🌟,  plus taboo stepbrother theme. So hot 🔥🔥🔥 🥵 loved this so much!

Hannah Haze - plenty of spice, 5 🌟 so hot, grumpy/sunshine, MMFM, just loved this so much and want to reread over and over again.

Jarica James - 5 🌟,  second chance romance, short sweet and spicy, betas as well as an alpha.

Grace mcginty - 5 🌟 No mm, harem are brothers, second chance romance. Adorable characters that I fell in love with soooo quickly! 😍

MJ Marsten - 4 🌟 Really good short story, I now want to read the sister's story. I did find some of the designation a little confusing but I got the gist of it.

Juniper Kerry - 4 1/2 🌟 MMFM really enjoyable and having read 'Fat omega' it was great to see how the alpha/omega designation started in that world and I liked it so much more!

Maya Nicole -  5 🌟 I loved it but I need more! The Fmc was so funny and relatable, the pack perfect but it's so quick. It was my first time reading Maya Nicole , its such an easy read and flows perfectly now I need to read everything of hers.

Calliope Stewart - 5 🌟 FMMM, seriously what is there not to like about this one 😍 and who doesn't love a good wedding crashing!

Sabrina Day - 5 🌟 Ooh I loved this little prequel story and cannot wait until the series!

Aisling Cousins -  5 🌟  Omg I was so engrossed in this it's excellent!! FMMM  The world building and plot are absolutely excellent and I'm so excited for the series that will be following this!

Merri Bright - 5 🌟 Adorable story. FMMM.

Flora Quincy - 3 1/2🌟 Good short little read, nothing wrong with it I just wasn't overtly fussed on it. Its actually a pretty good short story to end the book on but I didn't read it last so I think I was just expecting more. So do leave it til last and see it as a goodbye to the book story and you'll love it more.

Alphas, Betas, and especially Omegas! The focus is on the Omegaverse for this charity anthology benefitting Ukraine. It had some editing issues when first released but has been updated and corrected.

Knot Mine by Jarica James: When Dakota left home, she never planned to return but she never forgot the men she once loved there. Now back for her sister's wedding, she is face to face with them again and the years disappear. The love is still there but so is the hurt. Loved this second-chance romance. Misunderstandings, betrayals, lies, and love.

Their Sweet Omega by Maya Nicole: Speed dating for a pack. Awkward and awful, until it's perfect. I enjoyed this story but it was over way before I wanted it to be. I needed much more.

In Luck by Hannah Haze: Anna can't face her heat without the essentials. Namely chocolate. Thinking she has time, she runs to the grocery for supplies running into her office nemesis. Liam and his mates trigger Anna's full-blown heat and now she needs knots more than chocolate. Steamy!!

Earthquake Omega by Juniper Kerry: A freak storm changes the world. Normal people now have designations and needs. Odessa finds herself in the middle of an earthquake with an assortment of men and when the storm is over, the real fun begins. A very original take on the origins of the designations.

Un-Packing Piper by Calliope Stewart: Piper's promised to marry the pack her father has chosen, so her sister can live her dream. Unfortunately, she meets the pack she should be with at the engagement party. Now conflicted, she has to decide whose happiness is most important. Equal parts angst and sexiness.

Lavender Moon by Sarah Blue: Luna dreams of her perfect Alpha, her stepbrother. But it can never be. So, instead, she's found her pleasure by dancing at a hot new club. Then one night, her worlds collide. The omega take on a taboo stepbrother romance.

Last Chance Omega by Grace McGinty: Zaley had loved the Yale Triplets but they left her. So, she left town and went to school. She made a life for herself. But now she wakes up naked in a hole back near her hometown. They are the only ones she can call. Very good second chance romance. A lot of history and feelings are packed into this short story.

The Bargain by Sabrina Day: When Nina's parents plan an arranged marriage, she takes her own path. Escape is her only choice because she's not cut out for a typical Alpha/Omega life. A nice short set-up for a later novel.

Omega's Climb by Aisling Cousins: Omegas live under the control of Betas, used and traded as a commodity. Nessa's first heat is coming up and she refuses to suffer that fate, so she decides to go over the wall to the Alphas. I'm not sure about this one. Great worldbuilding but I missed the attractiveness of a typical Alpha and spoiling of the Omega once they found their pack. Still, very unique and interesting.

The Mended Omega by Merri Bright: Attacked by a feral Alpha years ago, Cilla is terrified and can't speak to Alphas, so when she meets 3 Alphas who she wants to make hers, she has no idea how to let go of her fears. This is set in the same universe as Vali and her men with many characters you will recognize if you have read The Lost Line Series. A good story with a few very interesting tidbits for the series.

The Beta's Loves by Flora Quincy: Sarah has rival lovers who set their differences aside to give their girl the birthday of her dreams. I enjoyed the style of writing for this story. It was quite different from the others and was a nice way to end the book.

I absolutely loved that this was an omegaverse anthology. I really enjoy omegaverse stories and enjoyed just about all the stories in this anthology. I think the only story I didn’t particularly care for was the last one because it was a bit hard to follow. I would also say that this anthology could’ve benefited from a proofreader. There were a lot of stories that end with a HEA and I did enjoy that and if it didn’t wrap up then it ended in a HFN. With those stories I really do hope we get more at a later date because I definitely want to see where some of these stories are going to go.

Although I had heard of some of these authors, I had never read anything from any of them before. After reading some of these stories I can’t wait to read more of what they’ve written. I literally picked this up because I love omegaverses and was excited that all these stories were omegaverses. And although it was the same type of story, I loved how they were all so different and I didn’t get bored with any of the stories and loved all the different twists each author had on this world. Most of these are told from dual POV’s but there were a few that weren’t and I’ve been reading a lot of dual POV’s lately so I enjoyed only getting the one side. Each story had a good amount of spice thrown in too.

Outside of the last story, I would give all these stories anywhere from 3-5 stars:
Knot Mine- Jarica James: 4/5
Hidden Heart- M.J. Marstens: 5/5
Their Sweet Omega- Maya Nicole: 5/5
In Luck- Hannah Haze: 4/5
Earthquake Omega- Juniper Kerry: 3/5
Un-Packing Piper- Calliope Stewart: 4/5
Lavender Moon- Sarah Blue: 5/5
Last Chance Omega- Grace McGinty: 4.5/5
The Bargain- Sabrina Day: 4.5/5
Omega’s Climb- Aisling Cousins: 3/5
The Mended Omega- Merri Bright: 3.5/5
A Beta’s Loves- Flora Quincy: 1/5

Individual story thoughts:
-Hidden heat. This left the biggest cliffhanger, but I still really enjoyed this and how different it was with the addition of gamma’s and delta’s. With the way it ended I immediately wanted to pick up where this story left off!! I don’t know when or if that story will come but I really hope it does!
-Their Sweet Omega. This one was interesting to me because I liked the whole speed dating vibes to this story. And how the match process worked. This one ended more in a HFN story and it really left me wanting more as well. The premise was very interesting, but if there is an expansion on this story I would definitely read it!
-Lavender Moon. This was such a quick read for me and I loved the entire story! I wouldn’t mind getting more or a continuation. I loved that there was a bit of taboo thrown in as well with the step-brother trope.
-Last Chance Omega. The premise of this story was definitely an interesting one, especially with the whole Canada vs America thing. I absolutely loved the guys in this story and the childhood friends to lovers vibes. And again slightly taboo with the guys being triplets.
-The Bargain. Another one with a very interesting premise that I absolutely want to get more of. Another that kind of leaves you with a bit of a cliffhanger for sure, but it does wrap up in a HFN and at the end it is said this story will continue and be released in the fall of 2022 so definitely looking forward to that!

I’m so glad that I took a chance on this anthology and I really wish there is another omegaverse only anthology in the future! For now, I’m glad I got to experience a bunch of new authors in one place.

Review Overall: Loved it! Makes me want to go down the omegaverse hole even more then I did before. It did make me take a step back as I'm sad that the stories are over and wont be continued if that makes sense.

Reviews for each book:

1. Knot Mine by: Jarica James
-I felt the story was super short. They got together way to quickly. and the angst was over way to quickly.3/5

2. Hidden Heart by: MJ Marstens
-Ah. this was okay. Not good or bad. It was interesting to say the least. But the fmc sister! my favorite! 3/5

3. Their Sweet Omega by: Maya Nicole
-This antho also confused me. I felt the author skipped over so important details in the beginning with the matching. but other than that it was a decent story 4/5

4. In Luck by: Hannah Haze
-AHHH. this one was cute. the FMC really was in luck! boss to the rescue. Also, who doesnt need chocolate!!! 5/5

5: Earthquake Omega by: Juniper Kerry
-nope. Im still confused by this antho. I have no clue who was who. which guy was into who. Like how, did the earthquake make the change. its just a confusing story that never made sense to me the whole entire time. (no star rating)

6. Un-Packing Piper by: Calliope Stewart
-I loved Piper. But I loved Paisley. The guys are wedding crashers and I cant really blame them. Id want to be with my mate too. 4/5

7. Lavender Moon by: Sarah Blue
-STEPBROTHER ROMANCE. enough said 5/5 LOL but seriously. its a really nice story. The stepbrother cant have her so he does everything he can to take to take care of her. Especially that convo with the rents at the end. (*pant pant*) oh and the guys. I cant really mention anything more or I'll give imporant details away! READ IT! 5/5

8. Last Chance Omega by: Grace McGinty
-So this is a spin-off (?) of a novel of Graces, set in the same universe of her Tryst in the Dark Book. I really enjoyed this piece. I read this before I read Tryst, so I think that helped me see a different side to Tryst. (When I read it) But I loved the fmc men! They were amazing!!!!! Would love to see a novel or even a longer novella about these 4. 5/5

9. The Bargain by: Sabrina Day
-I felt this book was left with me wanting more but not necessarily in a good or bad way. I was kinda let down with the ending but my hope is the author will continue the story, as it was good. But i just needed more. 3/5

10.Omega's Climb by Aislings Cousins
-Loved this story! I hope Aisling writes more about this particular word and I can see how the omegas end up. I loved the language, the braveness of the fmc. 5/5

11. The Mended Omega by Merri Bright
-This story was okay. I'm still confused on the relationship between the guys and their family in their own kingdom and what is going on. I just wish I was able to be more into the story. guys were okay but not memorable. 3/5

12. A Beta's Love by Flora Quincy
-I didn't like this one. It was completely out of place with the rest of the book. The main POV was in a beta's POV not an omega and it just really grated me wrong. I just didnt feel like it fit the theme of the book. Yes it hinted and touched on an omega, and mentioned knotting, but like it wasnt the same. 2/5 stars

Rating an anthology isn't really an easy task. Even, if it's my favorite genres, Omegaverse and RH. And a lot of my favorite authors.

But my problem often lies within the fact, that an anthology could be text excerpts or something unfinished. Which goes against my reading habits to only read finished series/stories.

Sure, I expected that the stories in this anthology would be some kind of introduction to other books of the authors. Or some kind of announcement for new series. I just hoped that the short stories would be finished in itself. For the most stories, it was the case.

But there were some stories, that were not. Like Hidden Heart by M.J. Marstens. Lunella's story isn't finished, and not even close to be released. First there will be the book about her sister, that isn't released yet as well. That is kind of irritating for me (as well as the ending).

The same goes for The Bargain by Sabrina Day. I know now, that Nina is a side character of Fleeing Fate, which I have on my TBR list, but not read yet, because it isn't finished. Like I stated, I only read finished series/books, otherwise I wait. But again, this story wasn't finished, and only an introduction to Nina's story and to the Hidden Omegas series. But the book about Nina, again, isn't near to be released, because the other story about Ava (the main character of Fleeing Fate) isn't closed. And now I'm not sure, if I will be able to read Ava's story first, or will wait for Nina's book. But okay.

I get it, and I don't want to blame authors for anything. It's just some way of advertising, and the anthology is for a good cause. It's only that I'm awful with waiting, and I especially loved the mentioned stories. They just aren't finished.

The stories overall were really good, and I loved them mostly. I'm a huge fan of Calliope Stewart, and I can't wait for her books. Or Grace McGinty. I see a lot of great new series on the horizon.

The only story, that wasn't really to my taste, was the last one. (Flora Quincy – A Beta's Loves) It wasn't bad, either. Just nothing that I was rooting for, or overly interested. It was again an introduction to the main story of some characters. But the stories was sort of concluded in itself, because the main character here is another.

Overall, I rate it with 4 stars. It has a lot of good content, and the issues I had, are more personal nature. So, I don't include it in the rating itself.

Every single story in this anthology was amazing.

Jarica James’s Knot Mine is a second chance story that is both uplifting and spicy.

MJ Marstens’s Hidden Heart features an omega who goes into heat at her sister’s wedding and the pack that will do anything to keep her.

Maya Nicole’s Their Sweet Omega features Omega Match, a round of speed dating between omegas and potential packs.

Hannah Haze’s In Luck is about an omega whose heat is rapidly approaching, but she has to go to the store because how can she survive without her chocolates?

Juniper Kerry’s Earthquake Omega takes us back in time to a world changing event.

Calliope Stewart’s Un-Packing Piper is about an engaged omega who meets her fated pack, but can’t be with them—can she?

Sarah Blue’s Lavender Moon features a stripper-esque omega trying to get away from her mother’s influence while ignoring her attraction to her stepbrother and his pack.

Grace McGinty’s Last Chance Omega is a prequel to her recent release A Tryst in the Dark in the Omega Lottery world. It’s a second chance story that you can’t put down.

Sabrina Day’s The Bargain is just the beginning of a story. An Omega who refuses to be what is expected of her, instead choosing to run away and take her life in her own hands. The story will continue in a separate book not yet released.

Aisling Cousins’s Omega’s Climb is about a beta-ran world, where they keep the omegas from the alphas so that they can remain in charge. Too bad this omega isn’t having any of it. Side characters in this story will be getting their own book in the future!

Merri Bright’s The Mended Omega is a short story in the Lost Lines series. A broken omega who can’t interact with alphas, even though she has fallen for a group of them.

Flora Quincy’s A Beta’s Loves is a historical omegaverse about a beta courtesan with both an alpha male and an omega female in love with her—too bad they can’t stand one another.

I've read 3 stories in here:

1. Sarah Blue - Lavender Moon, because I really loooove the Heat Haven world and this was a cute little shorty. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

2. Maya Nicole - Their Sweet Omega/Omega Match, which made me read the "Knot so perfect Omega" and queue the sequel as well. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

3. Calliope Stewart - Un-Packing Piper, which had an interesting storyline. The getting to know and annoying phase would have been wayyyyy more interesting though. Definitely a story that could be a full length novel. And I want to read the sequel: Packing Up Paisley, but couldn't find any infos on it. ⭐⭐⭐

And I queued other books by these authors.

Omegaverse Heaven

Collection of omegaverses from some of our favorites..Enjoyed each and every short story. These were quick and such cozy reads. Dirty talking alphas and the Omegas who bring them to their knees are always my favorite.

Only thing that detracted from this was editing. Some chapters were jumbled up or repeated so it lead to some confusion. A couple of more passes through a different editor would have made this a full 5 star read.

Brilliant anthology, really enjoyed reading list.
This review is for Grace McGinty: Last chance Omega:
Loved this prequel to the omega lottery series.
Zaley has had many ups and downs in her life and her has powered on through. although she seems to be having more of a low point right now when she wakes naked in a cave, with no clue on how she got there. With only a few people she can call, she has a hard choice to make.
brilliant read.

Don’t waste your money

Even if a couple of the stories were good, 90% of the stories have chapters repeated. In some cases, there are four chapters repeated. I’m not sure if this is an editing mistake or a way to pad the page count to make it more appealing. Either way, I’m disappointed with this anthology.

50/50 shot

To me 50% of these stories were really good and the rest were meh. Not because they weren’t good but because they truly felt incomplete. I understand these are novellas but I felt like they needed a more. Definitely worth reading the book though especially for the really good ones!

Good stories. KU version needs fixed

Really enjoyed the stories but the KU version had tons of issues. Repeating chapters through most of he stories. Some words that got smashed together. Some of the chapters were flipped around. I enjoy all of these authors. This was a good anthology but needs fixed.
