It had been fourteen long years ago, but Benjamin Wolfe remembered it like yesterday --- the fateful day that his beloved father was accused of carnal sins and run out of Piggville, Texas, by none other than the town's wealthiest citizen --- Hamilton Pigg.
Now Ben had sworn revenge on his father's grave, and he was back in town. Back to give the three remaining little Piggs --- lovely Cecilia and her young sisters --- a taste of their own medicine. He'd drag their family name through the mud, and see to it that, whether their homes were made of straw, sticks or brick, the sisters would ultimately be forced out of town.
But Ben never counted on Cecilia being such a beautiful woman, or so stubborn. He meant to woo her with his cunning, then leave her stranded. But suddenly he found himself the confused one --- mesmerized by her stunning looks, captivated by her gentle heart And it wouldn't be long before Ben found himself questioning, despite all his huffing and puffing, whether it was revenge he really wanted --- or for the lovely Ms. Pigg to just let him come in.

I was impressed how the story of the three little pigs was converted into a historical western. Both sides are sympathetic to the reader. However, as with most revenge stories, it involves intentional harassment and deeply hurt feelings. Thus, I didn't enjoy the story as much as I could have. It does end well but I still felt emotionally exhausted afterwards.
Edit: Well this was neither amazing, terrible, or campy. There is some odd family dynamics that make the romance a bit odd spoilers:. Ben was a bit of a jerk, run of the mill for 90s historicals.
Wasn't the worst I've read, but also just really average. Kinda disappointed as I wanted more from it.
Prior to reading: A romance based around the three little pigs? This either going to be amazingly campy or amazingly terrible. Also, for a romance the title is priceless.
Totally bought it for the cover and title alone so I am keeping it regardless, but I have to know if it is actually good.
This was not as crazy as the blurb promised. Except for the silly surnames of the heroine and her family (Pigg) this was a pretty standard story with our hero pursuing misguided revenege on Cecelia for wrongs done against his father. Harlequin Presents would like the canned plot back please.
The book was mostly fine - if a little dated. The real issues are:
(a) there was no pigs in the book. I mean - come on - there could have been a pet pig or something!
And (b) the third act break-up / romantic issues / "plot" was stretched so much that my nerves hurt. I had to reread a chapter because I was rolling my eyes so much I thought I missed what happened.
All in all - this was fine. I would have probably enjoyed this more if it had been a touch shorter and a touch campier. Ok a lot campier.
