Magic. Wolves. Soulmates. Just another day. Wait…what?

Andie
Work, home, sleep. Rinse and repeat. That's my life and, most days, I have no complaints. Then, strangers appear out of the shadows and there isn’t anything ordinary about them.

Suddenly, I’m being teleported to a witch coven that should be familiar but isn’t. And the things I’m being told, they can’t be possibly true…can they?

Foster
I’ve spent months searching for a mate I’m not even sure I want to find. I shouldn’t be allowed to care about another—not after what I failed to do all those years ago.

Except when I see her… I know.

I know who she is. I know I will destroy everything in my way of keeping her safe. Most importantly…

I know she’s mine.

Fantastic new story

I freaking LOVED THIS!!
Fated Mates 🙌🏻 Slow burn. Some Spice. Protective Hero. Werewolves AND witches - SUCH a great combo! My favorite of Heather's to date. She is just a phenomenal writer. I loved the uniqueness of a werewolf being bonded/mates with a witch! So fun! 🐺💞 ✨  We see lots of crossover from the previous series within the Mystics and Mayhem World and I LOVE IT. Though if you are starting here you will NOT be lost one bit.
Andie is a total sweetheart. I loved that she isn't fighting/butting heads with Foster the whole time. They just have a sweet relationship.
And Foster 😏 WOW. Sexy, protective alpha man 🤤 He's got some baggage but tries not let it ruin things with Andie and those closest to her.
And then Heather ALWAYS writes such awesome female friendships. Andie's besty Charlie is a great character. I'm excited to get to know her better through the series. 😊

💕 RCRS: 5 (one intimate scene with tame descriptions)

🎧 I absolutely adore Michelle Sparks. I was so excited for this bc she did Luna Marked series as well.
Noel Harrison was new to me this book. He took me a little bit to get used to, but I enjoyed his narration. This style is where Noel speaks for all male characters regardless of whose POV the chapter is and vise versa. It's the absolute best!

🗨 Some Quotes:
“Who is this Moira witch?” I asked.
“Someone we should have dealt with a long time ago. She’s dangerous and not to be taken lightly.”
“So am I.” I growled.

A rumble I couldn’t hold back vibrated through my chest, and she laughed.
“Is that a wolf thing or a Foster thing?” she asked.
“I’d like to say a Foster thing, but it’s probably more of a mate thing,”

I might not have been raised in the world I belonged in, but Moira had just done me a favor. She’d awoken a fury inside me that would be all the motivation I needed to master whatever was inside me.

G'day my fellow Ramblers. How are you all doing? I hope everyone is managing okay and enjoying the book worlds and their oh so sweet escape. I know I have been using them for this very purpose. Life is playing a crazy game of dodgeball with me and I am not a fan of it lol.

See it's a very hazardous lifestyle - I'm with the onlooking blonde girl flinching lol

Heather has given us yet another awesome Mystics and Mayhem book! I believe this is the fourth series done within this world. You do not need to read them in order but if you're anything like me and you like following the timeline of events and meeting short glimpses of characters before they get their own story, you'll much prefer reading them in order of release.

So, anyone remember meeting a certain wolf shifter in the Scorned By Blood series? If I said Foster, would that ring any bells? If not...huff keep up people lol.

I enjoyed so much about this story. The characters I love, the plot I am intrigued with, it honestly has so much potential and growth and dude am I here for it. The growing friendships I'm enjoying as they develop. But I really loved that whilst the family she, Andie, lost is reunited in a sense back with them. That there were others out there who knew her and her family and that through them she got to feel closer to them once more. So wholesome.

This story had a slow build, in my opinion, but I understand the setting the stage, so to speak, so I wasn't bothered by that...but towards the end of the book, things definitely began spiking and then...that unmentionable thing happened that shall not be spoken of. I feel like I'm Voldemorting right now 😆.

So, I'm doing what I do best and putting my good ole Stiles logic into play and I intend to do so until I decide otherwise lol. So I'm currently doing okay because it's in the never happened trunk and it's locked up tight. Yep, I'm also quite stubborn when I set my mind to something. 😆 Poor Heather didn't expect all her ARC members to rise up about this incident 😂 No regrets though. I have no regrets lol. But until it is fixed I shall follow my above-mentioned method. It's very healthy I promise you.

The one thing I struggled a little with, was that the best friend Andie was reunited with felt a little unrealistic. What I mean by this, was that Andie and Charlie were best friends at the age of five when Andie's mum left her coven, after a terrible attack. And it just felt a little odd that Charlie held onto that friendship like a day hadn't passed, whilst also holding a level of protectiveness that usually only comes about from years together. Don't get me wrong, I love these two together and I look forward to their friendship evolving more...but I just felt that throughout the book their friendship was spoken in terms that, I felt, were more emotionally connected to older kids, not those of a five-year-old. Kids, to me, aren't really able to process that level of friendship, in my opinion. Even taking from personal experience I had a best friend as a kid, we had been close since birth practically (since our mums were close friends) we did everything together and were tight. But when I turned seven and changed schools our friendship whilst still strong, for a little while, slowly fell away until now, where we have zero contact. I'm not sure if that was just a me-thing, in regards to this but I'd be curious to know what others think too. 😊

The one other thing that I felt was a bit confusing...and this could be my old-soul ways showing its face, but this book covered like maybe three days-ish? and Andie had mentioned taking it slow with her mate, coz she was new to all this magic world. But within this time she had made out thoroughly with her man and other stuff lol...and I'm just over here thinking this is taking it slow? lol. Slow to me, would be creating a friendship bond, holding hands and light making out maybe. I just wanted to mention that because it was something that felt a little contradictory to the slow-burn romance.

Sorry, all that and we haven't even touched base on the book plot...whoops my bad. Let me remedy that. Well, we have Andie who is living on her own, a quiet simple life, in a small town. It's nothing exciting and most days are much the same...but she thought it was what she needed after her mother died. But as time went on, she felt her life was missing something...needing something more. And not to mention the weird energy that has been growing inside her. That definitely was not a normal human trait...and she wondered if what her Aunt Junie had spoken of, years before, were real. When one day she's walking home after a shift at work, these definitely not normal strangers appear and are clearly gunning for her. Another stranger pops in to help...telling her that she knew her, when she was younger...before whisking her away to the safety of a coven that her mother and aunt had been a part of. She learns that her memories were wiped and that bizarre energy inside her...was leftover magic, that was removed from her as a kid. Now Andie needs to try and find her feet in this new world of magic and danger. For a dark witch is after that very magic from Andie and is willing to go to any length to claim that power.

And because Heather wanted to make this book even more awesome...it's also dual POV, YAY! It's honestly so great having this vantage, as Foster is already very familiar with the magical world and has his own narration that is crucial to the story's development. I just love being in his head from the mate side, to see the stuff that Andie wouldn't be aware of. Foster is a guy with a rocky past, a past that still very much haunts him...but when the Luna Goddess shows herself to him, sharing with him the scent of his mate to track down, things in his world start shifting. Finding a new purpose for himself he searches for her, even when he doesn't believe he is worthy of something so precious...but when he finally finds her, he knows he will do anything to protect her. That she is his and nothing will ever change that. So watch out peeps...you hurt his mate and you just signed your death sentence.

As always I adore the characters created and the direction of this story. I love Andie and Foster together, they are just too adorable. And I especially love how Foster slowly comes out of himself and opens up to the possibilities of finding happiness and release from the burdens of his past. They find comfort in each other so early on and whilst Andie might not feel the full pull of their bond...she senses enough that she feels safe and protected with him...which has me all happy and all those good gooey emotions.

I also loved how Andie automatically just felt so at home in this new world. And that whilst the road ahead is shaky and confusing, she deals with it extremely well...especially considering her clumsy streak 😆. She was made for this world that's for sure...her fighting spirit will serve her well in the days ahead. With her friends and mate beside her, she will be a force to be reckoned with.

And because a Ramble isn't quite complete without a book teaser and I wouldn't want to disappoint. So here we go.

That witch would soon regret the day she came after my mate. I would rip the world apart before I let anyone hurt Andie again.

Doesn't that ⇡ just give you all the feels?! I know for me...I just loved the intensity of Foster. Sigh.

If you are after an upper YA Urban Fantasy read about witches, magic, schmexy wolf shifters and finding your place in a magical world...I'd def recommend you go check this book out. Be sure to one-click, so you are ready for its release on the 24th March. You can find it here ---> Shifted Magic.

Thanks as always to the amazing Heather for yet another story that has me feeling things over yet more fictional characters. I cannot wait to see where this story will take us...and just remember anything is possible, nothing has to stay concrete...k? k. 😉🙃

Andie is a strong young woman with a tragic past. Despite the heavy setbacks she’s faced, she rises above with grace. She remains rational and understanding, never overly dramatic. She distances herself when necessary but doesn’t overreact — she simply takes the needed steps forward. Her responses to challenges are mature and grounded.

Foster, the MMC, is your classic wounded soul — a man searching for purpose, currently drifting through life. His pain stems from self-pity, but he doesn't wallow in it. He chooses solitude and prefers to push people away, though he’s not cruel — just distant.

This story is a romantic fantasy — a witch and a wolf shifter are “Mated,” something incredibly rare. The pacing is quick due to the book’s length, which means no dragging or unnecessary filler. It offers a refreshing take on a well-known magical world where different supernatural beings coexist and collaborate.

Charlie, Andie’s long-lost friend, shows pure, unconditional love. She’s witty and clever and plays a key role in Andie’s life, even if for a short time. Beatrix gives off mixed signals — she seems to have double motives, making her harder to trust. Holden is strict but fair and comes across as kind and trustworthy.

Though short, the book packs a lot: it’s emotional, intense, heartwarming, and sexy. The romance develops fast, yet both characters take their time — fitting since this is a trilogy. The main villain, Moira, has yet to make a direct appearance, but her presence is felt through others. It’s clear that both the love story and the larger conflict are just getting started.

I'm definitely excited to dive into book two!

Andie has a boring life – no family, work, go home, watch tv, sleep and go to work. Shi is troubled by some lights she occasionally sees around her hand. Then one night she is followed home, attacked and rescues by someone supposedly from her past.
Foster is a lone wolf, searching for the mate promised to him by the Lunar Goddess. All he has is her scent. Then he catches Andie’s scent and know she’s the one.
Beatrix, the head witch from other series, is quite prominent in this book as she tries to help Andie regain her memories and magic.
Foster wants nothing more than to be with Andie, loving and protecting her, but to do so he must control his alpha tendencies and try to get along with everyone.
This book covers the process of getting Andie back to her witch status, the growing mate bond with Foster, the battle with the enemy witch coven that deal with black magic.
So far, I think I like this book the best of all of the different Mystics and Mayhem novels. It’s a quick, easy, fun read.

I really liked the premise of the story. Andie is very mature and understanding of the things going around her. I liked how she takes time to process things. Foster is a broken man. A bad decision has led him to question himself.
Together they must fight the evil and help Andie along the way. I love how this was a witchy book and two covens are fighting against one another. Great action scenes! This book is perfect for readers who enjoy paranormal romance, witches, shifters, and fated mates.
I really enjoyed Michelle Sparks narration.

✨Shifted Magic✨ This is my first time diving into the world of the author and I have to tell you it’s quite magical! This was such a good read I couldn’t put it down. Andie doesn’t really understand the glowing in her hands. She had no idea she belonged to a witch coven. Til one day her people come for her and take her back while also finding out she has a soulmate named Foster. A hot slow burn between Andie and Foster…who also happens to be a wolf. My favorite Foster says, “I’ll always bring you back to me.” He cares so deeply for her it’s so beautiful and primal.

It’s a lot for her to take in but she is strong. Her journey, the secrets and memories are just starting to unravel. The last few chapters are such great builds leading into the second book!

I was immediately sucked into this amazing world that Heather created. I really enjoy shifter romances, but there was something extra special about this one. The character development and fast paced story telling made this a very enjoyable read. There were fated mates, witches, shifters, a great antagonist, and some spice.

The last shifter series I read (by a different author) had me feeling anxious most of the time with all the battles that took place, which took away from the escape that reading usually provides for me. “Shifted Magic” did not cause anxiety, and instead provided an intriguing story that pulled me in and had me immediately moving onto the next book in the series.

Well done Heather!!💗

started reading this book and I couldn't stop. First I need to say that Foster is mine, I have claimed him 😉.
Andie has always known that something was different about herself, but wasn't really sure what until one fateful night when her life was knocked on its axis. Things go from strange to stranger, but she takes everything thrown her way like a champ. I absolutely love this story and everything that is going on. Her friend Charlie is amazing, and there's no words to describe Foster besides yummy. I can't wait for the next one.

I listened to the audiobook and I absolutely loved it

Shifted Magic is my first ever Heather Renee book and it won't be my last, I'm hooked. The first book in the Fated to the Wolf series was freaking awesome. What's not to love about witches, wolf shifters, magic, and fated mates. Those are all my things and the story that Heather has created beyond held my interest, there was just enough angst, action, romance, and plenty of drama. It was very engaging. This dual perspective is told by Andie who's a witch who doesn't know the supernatural exists and that she's one of them and her fated mate Foster who is a grumpy wolf who isn't really dealing with the trauma of his past and had pretty much given up on happiness until Andie.

I'm gonna give Andie credit she might be a little softer and more forgiving than I'm used to but she still has a backbone and when her life went to complete crap again she handled it better than expected. She might have been freaking out in the beginning but she put on her big girl pants and faced things head-on. Andie has lost a lot but has hopes of a better future and while there might have been bumps in the road, she accepted Foster a lot faster than I would have expected considering she doesn't know a thing about fated mates. Things move pretty fast but Andie rolls with the punches, it helps to have a mate like Foster. Foster has a lot of trauma from his past but the moment when Andie steps into his life he steps up, Foster is a great guy and Andie gives him the hope he needs to pull himself out of this darkness he's let himself drown in. I love how from the start he thinks of nothing but what's best for Andie, not only what she wants but what she needs as well. He's patient, kind, considerate, caring and so much more. Now saying that he does have a temper, that's what happens after living in darkness for so long. I like Foster a lot, I like how he is with Andie, and I love his wolf who also has a voice in this story, the furry fella has his own personality and is a lot more positive than Foster and together they make a great fated mate for Andie.

I don't know if this series is set in the same world as her other books but apparently, there are other supernatural besides the wolves and the witches and I'm hoping to see a glimpse of them in this book. However, I have to say that the witches in this book kinda rub me the wrong way, they are kinda snobby and have bad attitudes towards Foster but also seem to feel that way towards wolves in general as well. The wolves, for the most part, seem nice, Foster has outbursts but honestly, he's provoked by Beatrix. That woman loves to push everyone's buttons but hates the blow-back, and she gets a twisted sort of pleasure from it and her punishments of the younger coven members but the witch isn't so bad underneath all the snark she actually does care. Besides her, there's Charlie, Andie's best friend, who is there for Andie, the bond between the two is strong and Charlie is really something special. Not only is she an excellent witch but she is the steady presence in the coven that Andie desperately needs as well as a strong link to her past.

The coven's history and how the magic works were interesting, I love seeing potions and the spells, the information about the families. The Moon Goddess was mentioned and I would like to know more about her and I need to know more about the other coven. Their magic, even their looks seem very different from the coven that has Andie. I have a theory about Andie and why she was fated to Foster, I hope I'm right because that would be a unique and interesting twist. In the next book, I'm look forward to more magic, more family history, and a bit of revenge. I am wondering how the pack will come into play and what's up with that one wolf? I need answers.

I loved Shifted Magic and it's just the start of Andie's and Foster's story. The story was very entertaining and left off on a heartbreaking cliffhanger with the coven facing a lot of issues without any real solutions. I can't wait to continue the series and go along as Andie discovers who she was meant to be all along.

*SPOILERS*

I don't know if it was me but this book was rough to get through. The plot seemed intriguing enough but there wasn't enough world building to keep me interested. The whole book takes place over like 3 days. Andie kept announcing how much time had past every couple of pages.

She is obsessed with telling her work she won't be in. If I was attacked and had my home blown apart and was a witch, I wouldn't be too worried about that. Honestly the whole plot point was dumb. The boss left in the beginning due to a family emergency. Then when Andie was finally going to call in the boss had inherited money and was closing up shop. The whole thing was unnecessary and pointless.

Absolutely nothing is explained about being a witch. They're in a coven but it's never really talked about how it all functions. There isn't any explanation on how they use their magics. Do they have spells? Or do they just will it into existence. Then there is a random transfer of power available out of no where. But what if a witch dies alone? Who takes their power? Does it just disappear into the universe? There is a bunch of talk about how Andie is the last descendant of some powerful witch line. There were apparently 3 but one just died out? How does that happen. And if there are only 3 then aren't they all descendant's of a powerful witch line? Can witches be randomly born to mere mortals? But this great family line is important apparently but never explained. Why does it matter? Is she going to be super powerful or what?

OH also they can apparently talk to the dead. But not all the time. Just sometimes. Again never really explained.

Oh her dead Aunt June apparently put her powers into a moon rock when she was little. But her memories were erased. But no one thought to at least instill in her how important that moon rock was??? Like always have this on you kind of instruction. What if she sold it? What if she lost it! What if she just threw it away.

Also her "best friend" from when she was five is insanely loyal. These two woman Act like they had some deep never ending bond of friendship after being friends till they were 5. Then they were separated for like 20 years. The best friend made a comment how she thought she would never have a best friend again. What kind of recluse loser are you that you never formed any other bonds after your BFF from 5 years old left? There instant closeness was so jarring and strange and unbelievable.

Then there is Foster. The traumatized lone wolf who is Andie's mate. The instant love was so fucking annoying. I was over his endless obsession with her. I could understand the instant attraction but it was just over done. There just wasn't any chemistry there. There relationship was as exciting as a wet blanket.

Beatrice is the coven leader the girl is just a bitch. Best friend kept sticking up for her but I literally thought she was with the evil coven the whole time. She was just awful. Andie kept making excuses for her and acting like her behavior was normal when it just wasn't. She was a bitch.

I don't think I'll continue on with this series. It just bored me.

Shifted Magic (Fated to the Wolf #1)
Author: Heather Renee
MF fated mates, slow burn

Stars: 4/5

What is better than a brooding, alpha male that is perfect and sweet and will go above and beyond to take care of his mate? Did I mention that he has a damaged past? Well, it doesn't get better in my opinion and this particular dream wolf's name is Foster. He has been searching for his fated mate and when he meets her I don't think she was at all what he was expecting.

Andie is your heroine and she is gorgeous and full of fire. She also has just been thrown into a world that she was not prepared for. On top of that...Foster. There is so much sexual tension in the air, that you feel like you might explode.

This is another spin off set in the Mystics and Mayhem universe and I am IN LOVE with this one. I mean, wolf shifters will always have my heart but this book is phenomenal and my only complaint is that it was over too soon and here I am stalking the author for the next one (it's okay, she is used to it).

This book is setting up an amazing story and if you like magic, fated mates, snarky coven leaders and growly alpha males then RUN to pick up this book.

*Shifted Magic is a part of The Mystics and Mayhem universe and can be read without having read any of the other series in the universe. BUT, knowing and loving these crossover characters just makes my heart happy, so I suggest reading every book in this amazing universe.

I love Heather Renee's books and each and every one is a 5 star read for me. This one is no exception and I tore through this book in one afternoon.

The story follows Andie who has no idea that she is a Witch. She is Attacked one night and her whole world changes. In addition to finding out that she is a witch, Andie finds out that she has a fated mate who is ahold shifter. Foster is introduced and they have to navigate the politics between Witches and Wolf Shifters all while keeping Andie from being taken by rogue witches.

As always, Heather Renee takes you into this amazing world she has built and introduces you to a new couple. I love Andie and Foster. They are perfect fr each other and I can't wait too see what happens within this series. The characters are amazingly well written and have that snarky banter that Love in her characters. If you have not been introduced to Heather, Please go check her out. She is amazing and is such a great author. I give this book 5 stars!

**Author’s Note: This is the fourth series in Heather Renee’s Mystics and Mayhem universe. This world is for fans of paranormal and slow burn romance, intrigue, and fast paced action. Recommended for ages 17+. Series do not need to be read in order.

OMG! WHYYYYY????? Why did this book have to end this way?? What have these poor characters done to this author to deserve that? Heather Renee doesn't hang about starting her story off with a bang that gets adrenaline pumping through your veins. I really enjoy the authors style of writing and how she instil empathy in her characters by giving them tragic backstories to help the readers to feel compassion for the characters.

The consistent fast pace of this story keeps you on your toes as it gets right into the action, throwing Andie's life into turmoil which immediately ensnares the reader's attention and holds it. The author gives enough information to pique the readers curiosity, further drawing them in whilst laying a small bread crumb trail for you to follow to get your answers. Though ultimately, it leaves you with more questions than answers.

Of all the books I have read by this author there hasn't truly been a mixing of races. Andie is a witch whilst her soulmate is a alpha wolf shifter.

I found that Foster and Andie really suited each other. Both of them have been hurt in the past, both of them have loved lost ones, both are looking for someone special to fill the lonely void of their lives. I feel the similarities of their personalities really fit making them absolutely perfect for each other.

Although I enjoyed seeing more of Beatrix I found myself disliking her character in Shifted Magic. I used to find her prodding, mischievous nature endearing, and hilarious but the way she treats Foster didn't sit right with me as she took things too far.

Despite this, I can't wait to read the next book in the series and I hope Beatrix manages to redeem herself to me.

Another great book and start to a new series, Fated to the Wolf. The fourth series in Heather Renee’s Mystics and Mayhem universe. In this first book, “Shifted Magic” we meet, Andie, a woman that finds out she is a witch and had her memories tampered with, and Foster, a rogue wolf, haunted by actions in his past that cost him his pack. Heather Renee does an amazing job writing the beginning of their story. Andie is a great character who continues to overcome fast and overwhelming changes in her life as she finds out that she is not only a witch but also a mate to a wolf. She shows great strength and will power as she faces these changes in her life head on. Foster, her “mate” is tormented by his past but is determined to overcome his issues and to help Andie with the challenges she is facing against the dark witches
As usual, heather Renee doesn’t disappoint. She has created this amazing world and continues with new adventures within this world. I love that she has these series within the same universe with intertwining characters within each series, but all the series could be read in any order and individually. I’m really enjoying Andie and Foster’s story. Of course, book one has quite the ending and I can’t wait for me.

Meh. The awesome cover pulled me in, but this is insta-love on the part of the hero (who immediately recognizes her as his “fated mate” and basically worships her and lives to keep her safe).

I got 75% through it (skipping more and more as I read) but there’s no tension or chemistry, the plot is meh, and the hero is too much. That last part about the hero- it’s almost silly. It’s not attractive to have him act like he only lives to serve her, and he can’t bear to be separated. He’s so overprotective and intense that he freaked when one of the other shifters took the heroine’s hand to shake it. Yikes, man, chill out a bit. He’s smothering.

Besides that, I like both characters fine. The heroine, Andie, is nice and cool.

The writing is okay. I think it’s silly that her best friend when she was four and five years old, but who she hasn’t seen since then, acts like they are long lost sisters. I mean, I don’t even remember my life from when I was four or five, much less feel abiding love and loyalty to my babyhood friends.

Anyway, I’m not into it, so I’m calling it quits.

Content-
Language- some f-words (maybe 7?)
Sex- a little bit of crude language but that’s it so far.
Cover- love it
I read this on KU

This is the first book in fated to the wolf series and it did not disappoint.
This book was fast paced throughout, it went from one thing to another with no dull moment at all.
I loved the mfc andie in this book she has been through alot but she knew what she wanted and knew there was something different about her.
I dont think she was prepared for what that was though, turns out she is a witch, unfortunetly for her she dosnt have her powers.
Foster is the male main character and is a wolf shifter who is looking for his mate, when he eventually finds Andie all he wants to do is love and protect her and be there for her.

It obviously isn't happy ever after because that would be too easy, andie and Foster must go through a lot as she has people after her for her because she is the last living line with alot of power.

In this book at the beginning I really didn't like Beatrix but she did grow on me towards the end.
BUT WHAT WAS THAT ENDING!!! I was just beginning to luke Benjamin so I hope he is going to be OK.
This is a slow burn fated mates series with twists and turns all over the place and I can't wait to find out what happens next

Two lonely broken souls thrown together

Andie has lost her family. Doesn't remember anything before she was 5. After losing mom she runs away to the country. She feels weird things happening in her body & her hands glow during panic attacks. Foster is from a small pack in Alaska. After the alpha retires he takes over. He leads for 5 years. Something tragic happens that affects him so badly he becomes a lone wolf. They have both lost so much. The moon goddess has Foster look for his soulmate which leads him to where she will show up. He feels an instant bond however, she doesn't. Annie's magic is messed up & it's tied to her bond with her soulmate. Dark witches want her magic. So she will be hunted forever. I love her best friend Charlie. I find it hard to believe Andie would jump Foster when he's a complete stranger & she doesn't feel the bond. Plus she just learned her aunt died. She was also just attacked. She shouldn't feel physically or emotionally up to a rendezvous with a stranger. She's the type of girl that has no social life. She watches the same movies over & over so she doesn't have any breakdowns.

Intrigue, passion and danger make up this complex plot that is chalk full of details and twists that will keep you captivated. I absolutely loved this unputdownable book! Magical suppression and an angsty alpha male make for delectable fun. The world building and character development is spectacular. With a cover to deeply fall for and dialogue that is entertaining and witty, this will capture your senses and carry you away.

Andie and Foster will touch your heart as you watch them navigate their bond. These pages flew by because I could not get enough! Andie is super likeable and Foster is rocking those delicious book boyfriend vibes. The chemistry between them leaps from the pages. I can't wait to see the bond form between them.

If you love shifters and witches, this will be your newest addiction! With spells and magic both in the air and within the characters, this is one series that you want upon your bookshelves! Heather Renee brought the heat and gave us a story with colorful characters to cheer on.

I freaking love that we get all of these amazing series that are set in the same world and this one is no expectation it was fantastic! Andie has always felt like she was different but could never understand why then one night her entire world and the life she has know is thrown into uterus chaos she finds out she’s a witch and she has a fated mated (enters Foster a wolf shifter) not too mention someone trying to kill her. Damn that’s one he!! Of a night. Foster is everything you could ever want in a fated mated from the moment he lays eyes on Andie he is literally all in and he would die trying to protect her *swoon* and while Andie feels the pull to Foster something is holding back their bond. This is a slow burn between these two and I am loving it and Foster has really been put through it god my heart broke for him and his story. This is just the beginning for these two and I cannot wait to see where this author takes us next because that ending absolutely freaking gutted me like seriously right off the bat in book 1 JFC I don’t know what else my heart and soul can take.

If you love witches and wolves paranormal romance then this book is for you.
I loved this world created by this author and the characters she created. It was different then other books I've read though I've read heaps about mating between wolves and witches.
Foster and Andie were so good together. He's a broken wolf who lost his whole pack and blames himself for it, and she's a witch that didn't have any memory of her heritage cause all her memories regarding that aspect were wiped of for her protection.
The wolf creator interferes with fate when she gives Foster a hint of his mate's scent so he finds her, meanwhile the coven is looking for Andie before someone else finds her. From there their story begins . Foster doesn't want a mate but one look at her and everything changes but she's a stranger to his world and the paranormal world so things won't be easy for both of them especially when an evil witch is after Andie and her powers

I really enjoyed this new series starter by Heather Renee. Not only did we get to meet new characters, but as it’s set in the same world (Mystics and Mayhem) as her other recent series, we got to see some familiar ones. The cranky older witch visiting in the Luna Marked series is the head of the local coven in this one… and she is such a fun character!

I really liked getting to see chapters from Foster’s perspective and how he interacted with his wolf. My favorite aspect of the book, though, was Andie learning that she had repressed magic and getting to reunite with her family’s coven after thinking she’d been all alone in the world. I’m anxious to see those relationships develop further in the next book. I’m also very, very interested to see why the goddess has been so interested in both Foster and Andie…

4.5/5

Absolutely amazing!!! 💕

Heather doesn’t stop surprising me with each new series she releases, just when I think she wrote her best book, bam!!!, she comes and rocks my world again!!! 🤗🥰
Andie and Foster are absolute perfection; they both have lost so much; they both are lonely, afraid to love again, to care again, because their heart won’t take any more pain... the Moon Godess is so wise!!! 💖
Now that their paths have crossed, as fate has dictated, they both need to open their hearts and minds to be able to defeat the dark evil chasing after Andie!!! 😳🙈
New bonds will form, old bonds will strenghtened, new alliances will be made... 💪🏻🤝🏻🤜🏻🤛🏻
I'm so excited to read the rest of the books in this new fantastic trilogy!!! 😍❤

When the very first line hooks you up, you know that the book is going to be good and the same thing happened to me with this book. The main focus of the story is on witches and wolfs at the same time since the main characters are fated mates and belong to different supernatural communities which is unusual. It’s a dual POV from Andie, a witch, and Foster, a wolf by nature an alpha. It was pretty interesting to read how the story goes as Andie doesn’t have any magic and has no clue that she’s a witch. Whereas Foster is just given a scent of his mate and has to find her on his own. The other characters played have an intriguing role in the story. Many a times I thought of strangling the main witch Beatrix but other times she was a powerhouse. The story is written well and is perfectly paced, ends in a powerful way. I’ll be glad to read the second book in the series.

I really enjoy this shared world that Heather Renee has created!

After having small moments in the previous books, we now get a series dedicated to Foster, the grumpy solo wolf on the search for his fated mate that the Moon Goddess prompted him on.

We also get to meet Andie, as we meet her, she is attacked and turns out that she is a witch with her powers missing.

I like the fact that Andie and Foster dont just magically smoosh together and have happy families, they get to know each other because of certain situations happening and we also get to learn more about Foster's past and why he is the way he is.

we also get to learn more about our resident snarky Coven Leader Beatrix and the rest of her coven.

you dont need to read the previous books to know what is going on, but it does get you excited for what is to come and how some characters have met.

Andi does not understand why her hands are glowing from time to time. What is happening to her? Could Aunt Junies stories be true? Is there magic running through her veins? So many questions and no answers - until Charlie and Beatrice enter her life.
It is hard enough trying to figure out her new life but then Foster enters into her life. She feels something but what? It's so much to adjust to in less than a week!
Foster is alone wolf shifter. Events from long ago forced his hand to be a rogue wolf. The moon goddess paid him a visit and changed his course in life. He had to find his mate - she needed him. Could he change his life and trust the pack life again? Who was she ?
Just read the book but be ready for a cliff hanger.

Love This World!!

What a great start to the next new series in the Mystics and Mayhem world! If you've read the other series set in the world, you probably remember meeting Foster, and now, he finally gets to meet his mate! Andie is a witch who doesn't know she's a witch because her magic was sealed away at a young age, but now suddenly she's finding out she's a witch, a Coven of baddies are after her, and she has a shifter mate all at once! It's a lot for any one to take in. Andie does seem to take a lot of her situation in stride though and I'm interested to see how that will translate in later books once she's able to. I hope, get her magic back. Um, that end though? I'm at a loss for words and I'll leave it at that! I can't wait for the next book!
