Sabrina knew she was dying.

But she didn’t expect to be murdered.

And now, well, now she’s a ghost. If you’d asked her what she’d wanted out of life, being an invisible phantom living amongst a secret race of supernatural creatures would not be on that list.

Kieran Aspen is the world’s only fae-vampire hybrid and more than a little bit feral because of his dark origins. Tired of being a torturer, he’s now an ambassador on a mission: to uncover the secrets of a hidden clan of supes.

Little did he expect to find a ghost so alluring he would be willing to throw his whole life into chaos for her.

There’s just one small problem.

They need to find a way to bring her back to life.

*Haunt Me is a spicy standalone paranormal romance set in the Immortal Vices and Virtues Universe. Every book is a guaranteed happily ever after with a satisfying ending and no cliffhangers. Perfect for fans of Immortals After Dark, Black Dagger Brotherhood, and the Demonica series.*

Amanda Pillar is addicted to writing. Not in the fun kind of way, more in the has-to-get-her-fix kind of way. But that's a good thing, right? It means she's busy working on her next book and has plans for many more to come, all with lots of snark. Because snark.

Amanda has had almost a dozen books published, alongside a variety of short stories, as well as solo and co-editing over half a dozen anthologies. People say it's because she's an 'over-achiever' but, in reality, Amanda doesn't understand the concept of 'relaxation'. (Please feel free to explain it to her. Use small words.) Compounding this issue, Amanda has commenced work on a PhD. Because she's crazy.

Oh, and in her day job, she's an archaeologist. (And no, she doesn't get chased around site by rogue boulders, thank the flying spaghetti monster. She doesn't even want to imagine the OH&S paperwork THAT would cause).

I liked this story about magic and supernatural folks (vampires, fae, shifters, ghosts,...). The main characters turned out to be quite different between the beginning and the end which is quite interesting to follow... especially their spicy love story ;-)

I don’t know where to even start with this one but hands down my favorite of this series so far!!! Kieran and Sabrina are everything!!!!! Sabrina is a ghost who is annoyed and lonely (rightfully so lol) until Kieran who can see and hear her which leaves them both with more questions then answers. Living paranormal stories more and more!!

Funny and Spicy

The morally grey sociopath MMC was hilarious. In a dark way that I loved. I also really enjoyed the absurd things that popped out of the MFC mouth. Lol! “Ouchie- maker was gold though!

I love it when the MC is a ghost. Both Kieran and Sabrina could more than hold their own. The characters are still running smoothly and the connections in the series are seamless. The telepathy and only Kieran seeing Sabrina was interesting and funny given all the seriousness around them. I didn't like Volker in this one. Couldn't stand Colin and really didn't get why Sabrina kept quiet. Looking forward to the next one.

This book has to be my favorite out of the immortal vices and virtues world so far! I was so really looking forward to this book after reading the synopsis, and I’m so happy it didn’t disappoint! A ghost and a half Fae - half vampire romance? Yes please! Gimme more!

The books in the Immortal Vices and Virtues world have all been great so far, and it makes me so excited for the other books that are to come!

Amanda Pillar was an unknown author to me before starting Haunt Me, but this book made me really curious about to the others books she’s written.

I am loving the stories from this universe. In this Haunt Me we meet Sabrina who has been murdered by her own cousin and is now a ghost and is not enjoying the experience till Kieran Aspen appears and he can not only see her but hear her as well and so our spicy paranormal romance begins! It’s a great read, it’s fun, it’s exciting and it’s full of mystery and a little suspense and our characters are so so good and have off the charts steamy chemistry. It’s a great read!

I can't rate this any less than 4.5*!
While we've got to know the world by now (this is the third book in the series), this was actually the first book I read by this particular author. As you can tell by my rating, I have a new author to stalk... ermm follow :D :D

Worldbuilding:
Set in a world we know and love, this book isn't about a particular House, but we see several. A new supernatural species has been discovered, and each of the Houses wants to have them for themselves. So they've sent ambassadors to try and persuade the phantoms to join their House.
When a murder is discovered, tensions rise, and Houses and phantoms need to work together to find out who is the killer before more end up dead.

Character development:
Sabrina isn't fully human, yet she's not fully supernatural either... at least not yet. But since she's been murdered a year ago and didn't move on, she became something in between, a ghost. Unable to interact with the world and not visible to her family, she has led a lonely life.
And then there is Kieran, a death fae and nephew of King Elias of Blood and Beryl. He's the one you call when you want to collect information from someone the hard way.
With Kieran there as an ambassador of the House of Blood and Beryl, being the only one to see Sabrina, and with a mysterious murder to solve, the two pair up and get started.
Even though there is an instant attraction between them, Sabrina is a ghost, which, ermm.. well, makes things difficult, you know!?
Both have secrets and trust issues. Will they be able to trust each other enough to get through the trials ahead?

Pacing and flow:
This was excellent! The story just grabs you and doesn't let go until it's done :D Great balance between all the action and the conversations.

The book:
The book was well written with no (noticeable) errors. It does have sexual content (if that is important to you). I would rate it a good 🌶️🌶️🌶️ (out of 5).
It has 416 pages, spread over 56 chapters and is told from both Sabrina's and Kieran's points of view.

Final thoughts:
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book, and all in all, another excellent continuation of the series! It was something different, and I'm really happy to have discovered a new author :D
This series is amazing just because while it is still one world, the writers each add their own flavour to the stories.

A Match Made in Death

Haunt Me by Amanda Piller is the third book in the multi-author series, Immortal Vices and Virtues and I freaking loved it. Normally I don't go for ghost stories but seeing as how I already loved the world these wonderful authors have created I gave it a fair shot and I'm so glad I did.

The story is told from dual perspectives, one being Sabrina, our recently deceased and the other being Kieran who we've met before in Reject Me, he's Elias, the King of Blood, and Beryl, nephew. Sabrina and Kieran are made for each other. Both are unique supes, loyal, funny, and crazy, they're a trip and a half. I really liked getting to know them individually, seriously there were so great moments that had me cracking up, and it was interesting seeing them fall for each other considering she's a freaking ghost but the connection is real and strong and kinda instant.

I loved the plot, yes it was a weird ghost romance that introduced supernaturals that haven't been talked about much but also it had a murder mystery vibe, like clue or all those other classic whodunits. Set in a castle in Scotland with grumpy secretive supernaturals who are a little crazy. I love the mystery surrounding the new supes and the murder. A few elements were going on but done really well and held my interest. As for the characters, things got confusing about how people were related. As for the ending, holy plot twist! No one could have seen that nightmare coming. The ending was so dark and twisted and it was fabulous.

Who knew a ghost romance could be so good? I didn't Amanda Piller may have changed my mind about them, Haunt Me was a fantastic read with the darker moments that I expected from this series but also had moments of hilarity. I love every moment of Kerian's and Sabrina's story while getting glimpses of the characters I've already come to love. I can't wait to see who the next lucky couple is.

The author did a great job incorporating this story into the Immortal vices world. The new kind of supernatural being introduced to the houses was really intriguing.

The idea behind the story, again, is great but I struggled connecting to the characters. Kieran's humor about his work had me struggling to take him seriously. Sabrina felt trapped in a cycle and things she said or did repeated so much I felt like it was taking too long to get to the point of the mystery.

I would give this story 3.5

The books in this shared world just get better and better. I freaking love PNR and this one right here far exceeded my expectations!!! Sabrina is not what I was expecting and I love her so much. She’s sassy and fun. Kieran is everything you want from and morally grey bad boy!! The chemistry between these two is sizzling hot. This story will captivate you from beginning to end!! Amazing read!!!

Okay these two are officially my favourite couple so far!!! I was not expecting this storyline at all for Sabrina’s book! But these two were fiery hot plus their story is intriguing as hell. Seriously this new clan was wild, I couldn’t believe everything that happened in this one. I loved it & I’m looking forward to the next book! Although I would love a map/family tree of all these worlds so far haha it would be helpful!

Let me be clear this was gonna be a 5 star, maybe 4. Till she got Resurrected. After that, it was just all of a sudden fighting monsters! No revenge, no mate, love, no nothing, at least not for the next 100 pages because that's as far as I got after. Waste of my time! 2 stars only because I loved it till about 360 pages, then after, nope!

4.5 stars! A ghost love story that mixes a lot of great components together to make a very compelling and engrossing story! Starting just before Sabrina is about to return home to her estranged family, when she is brutally murdered - and in a flash of desperation, she reached for a magical node nearby, which seems to turn her into a ghost. Unfortunately, as such, no one can see or hear her….that is until a year later when Kieran, death fae and vampire, stumbles upon her family story, and subsequently her own mysterious death. As ambassadors from all the supernatural houses converge on her family’s estate to learn more about these mysterious and truly immortal phantoms, chaos ensues on many different levels.

So we have the initial murder of Sabrina, which takes place early on - and she is trying to figure out how to get revenge. We get a Clue-style murder mystery/whodunnit when another murder takes place shortly after the ambassadors arrive. All the while, the different houses seem to by vying for the phantoms to choose their house to affiliate with. Meanwhile, since Kieran is the only being who can both see and hear Sabrina, she latches on to him. Their interactions are not only lust filled and story driven, but the level of banter, snark, and humor they bring into what is generally a pretty dark story, is fantastic. And to be sure, Kieran is definitely a dark, very morally grey, love interest. It just happens to turn out that Sabrina has her own darkness as well. And in addition to the great banter between the main characters, there are some wonderfully fun exchanges with many of the side characters as well, including some that we’ve already met in previous books in this universe. On top of that, there are some excellent action and battle scenes to be had as well, so the book really does have it all.

Overall, this is a great, fast paced story that has a great balance of darkness and humor, all while pushing more depth into this budding universe of books. And while the steam is a bit of a slow burn, when things take a turn for the spicy, they turn HARD! Very enjoyable on every aspect, and I am loving this Immortal Vices and Virtues world more and more with every book.

Book 3 in this multi-author series, this story had a lot to live up to. Kel and Amber wrote amazing books to start this world, it was always going to be a tough act to follow. But, Amanda Pillar pulled it off and then some. I’ve never read any of her work before and wasn’t sure what to expect…. Well, it was amazing!

The first chapter reeled me into Sabrina’s rather insular world and immediately I wanted to know more about her and what would happen in her afterlife. Then Kieran appeared. That was it, I was hooked. I didn’t think the previous male leads could be surpassed, but they have been (sorry, boys!). I fell in love with Kieran and Sabrina. They are so perfectly imperfect and just right for each other.

Both Sabrina and Kieran are more than they seem. Can they work together for the good of both of their families? There are plenty of skeletons in their respective closets, emotional baggage, hurt, lies and shame. Sabrina and Kieran will need to learn to trust themselves, each other and the people around them. This book uncovers more about this world, the houses within it and the universe it exists in. It adds a new dimension we have yet to encounter in the previous books.

Just like in the last book, there are some familiar faces along the way. We are learning a little more about the world, it’s major and minor players and their interactions with each story. It feels so cohesive and well put together as a series. Each book has its own unique relationship and style, but reoccurring characters behave and talk in the way we expect them to from previous encounters. I appreciate this continuity. It feels like there has been more collaborative effort than just writing a single book in the series.

I love how the series is panning out and cannot wait for the next instalment. Each book makes me want to learn more about different characters and I now have a list of who I want to read about next. Needless to say I’m excited for next month’s book.

I also plan to delve into Amanda Pillar’s other series. I found Haunt Me to be well written, funny, romantic and thoughtful. The perfect amount of action, magic, supernatural activity and romance. It was well-balanced, well-paced and a great read. I loved it.

Sabrina Fhearchair always knew she would die, but she never thought she would be murdered - or that she’d turn into a ghost instead of a phantom. Now, Sabrina is stuck watching her family and is unable to communicate with them. When the seven Houses learn of the phantoms’ existence, they send ambassadors in order to try to coax the phantoms into joining one of their houses. Sabrina didn’t think the ambassadors being there would make a difference, but once she realizes one of them can see her, all bets are off.

Kieran Aspen is nephew to the king of the House of Blood and Beryl, and one of his resident torturers. Scorned because of his half death fae, half vampire heritage, Kieran keeps his head down and always does his duty. When he is sent as one of Blood and Beryl’s ambassadors to the phantoms, he doesn’t think anything will be different. But when he meets Sabrina Fhearchair, his world tilts on its axis. Sabrina is fun, beautiful, and enchanting… and he soon realizes that he is willing to risk everything to bring her back to life.

Holy crap! This is my first venture into the world of Immortal Vices and Virtues, and it did not disappoint. I loved the uniqueness of this book, and how complex the politics were between the Houses. The whole concept of the phantoms was extremely well done. I liked learning about the different types of magic as well as the different kinds of supernatural creatures that existed in this world. The humor in this book was pure gold!!! I adored everything about this book, and I will definitely be looking into the rest of the Immortal Vices and Virtues books as well as Amanda Pillar’s other work.

Sabrina. I really enjoyed Sabrina’s character; she was funny, smart, and kind, with just a hint of awkwardness. Sabrina was strong and brave, and I really liked watching her become more confident as the novel progressed. Kieran. I loved Kieran because of his strength, his confidence, and his snarky nature. I admire his ruthlessness and the way he’d do anything for those he cares about. Kieran and Sabrina’s chemistry was both obvious and instantaneous, and I was rooting for them the whole time. 5 steamy stars!

Funny. Unique. Entertaining. If I could sum up my thoughts that'd be what I'd choose. Along with long winded and overly detailed. Tbh that's probably why I can't seem to do a deep dive in true fantasy because my god the endless detailing of their surroundings is like drowning.

While I enjoyed this book more than I expected, and it was fascinating learning about the Phantoms and the underlying suspense plot the story was built off of it was a little excessive at times. Particularly I found once we hit the 30% mark everything began to feel mighty tedious and began to drag. We were getting more and more details and information dumping. So much so that I began skimming because why in the world did I care about Sabrina explaining every minute detail of each guest room along with her thoughts and memories of them, hmmm? Well, I didn't. Care that is. It was just a tad too much and too overtaxing for my brain to care. It began to drag around then and left me more frustrated than entertained. I wanted more one-on-one interactions with Sabrina and Kieran, not more useless details about her family home. And worse, the excessive detailing of surroundings was only minor when the story itself was so heavily built on piles of inner monologue and thoughts from both MCs. And while I understood Sabrina having more inner dialogue with herself and the reader for the first half due to her ghostly invisible state, I found it became rather repetitive. It didn't add to the story and it made it feel like wading through mud just to get to something good rather than more inner nattering and dissecting of their feelings.

So, yes. I did enjoy this. Surprisingly Sabrina didn't annoy me as her type of character usually does. I enjoyed Kieran so much, he was hilarious. I found their chemistry intriguing and their journey interesting. It was all the extra baggage the author dumped on us along the way they nearly ruined the book for me. I more or less lost patience with it. But regardless, it was entertaining. So, I don't regret reading it.

Haunt Me (An Immortal Vices and Virtues Novel)
Amanda Pillar

Thank you once again to the lovely ladies running the ARC group and to the Author @AmandaPillar for this ebook pre release of #HauntMe in exchange for a fair and honest review.

All thoughts and comments are my own and I am leaving this review of my own volition.

“Sabrina knew she was dying. She didn’t expect to be murdered. And now, well, now she’s a ghost”

With a hook like that I am INNNNNN plus - Sabrina - everyone’s favourite teenage witch (Melissa Joan Hart is my fav purely for sassy Salem! A wee random fact for you) just love that name and I will read it as Salem “Sab-Brin-Nah”

“Kieran Aspen is the world’s only fae-vampire hybrid and more than a little feral…”
A tortured bad boy - gimmie gimmie!

Kieran is Elias’ nephew… remember Elias from “Reject Me”? Did we meet Kieran in #RejectMe ? I think we did… #eyeballs love how all these books link together but are still stand-alone.

Ghost Sabrina is funny.

The one liners are doing me in 😂😂

We say “arse” not “ass” Decent try and I am loving the Scottish lingo. Canny beat the craic and banter between our two MCs ❤️

I really enjoyed this read, I especially love the tie in with our most famous mythological beastie #Nessie and no, not the bairn from #Twilight

Another great instalment for the #ImmortalVicesAndVirtues series.

Haunt Me by Amanda Pillar is the third book released in the Immortal Vices and Virtues series. This is a spicy paranormal romance novel with plenty of laugh out loud moments.

The Immortal Vices and Virtues novels are standalone books, written by different authors, but they occur in the same universe. I highly recommend reading these books as a series, and in order, so that you understand some of the backstory.

Haunt Me tells the story of Sabrina, a human girl with an ancestral secret. A secret so big, it could change the power balance of the supernaturals who rule the word. But, to help her family find their place in the changing dynamic, Sabrina needs her clan to listen to her...the only problem is, her cousin wanted her out of the picture and now she's a ghost, unseen and unheard.

Kieran never wanted to be an ambassador of the house of Blood and Beryl, preening to the newest supernatural group, vying for their pledge to join his house. His skills lay more in the way of dark dungeons and interrogations. But when he spots Sabrina across the room, hears her making hilarious comments, and feels a zap of energy everytime she comes near, his attention is definately peaked.

I loved this girthy spicy paranormal romance told from the POV of both Sabrina and Kieran. It was funny, sexy, and an all 'round awesome read.

What are you waiting for? Haunt Me awaits!

☆ I received an ARC of this book from the publisher, which in no way sways my honest opinion, as stated in this review ☆

We’re at book 3 of this amazing world. If you’re familiar with the Immortal & Virtues world, we don’t spend time in one particular house. You’ll see a few but it’s not concentrated. There’s a new supernatural species that’s been discovered, and the houses want to each have them for themselves. As usual nothing is easy! A murder has been discovered, the houses need to work together with the phantoms and hopefully find out who the killer is.

So this books FMC Sabrina, isn’t human… nor is she a supernatural 🤷🏻‍♀️. She was also 💀 about a year ago, and hasn’t moved on, therefore becoming a ghost. She’s also not able to interact with the world itself, and isn’t visible to her family, leading into a very lonely life.

Kieran our MMC, is the nephew of King Elias of Blood & Beryl, and a death fae. He is the person you call when you need information collected from someone… if nothing else works.

Kieran is also the only one able to see Sabrina, they pair up and work together to try and solve the mysterious murder. They have a certain attraction towards one another, but she’s a ghost… if you know what I mean 😉. Another possible snafu in their plan is the trust issues they both have, can they work them out? You’ve gotta read it and see!

I am very happy to have discovered another new to me author, she did a fabulous job of balancing this book. It’s a wonderful continuation of this world, and the author balanced the action, steam & just basic conversation with this read. I can’t wait to keep reading this amazing series.

Good

Sabrina and Kieran

Set in the Immortal Vices and Virtues world, this is a standalone romance, which features some of the other characters who get their stories told in this world, but doesn’t actually spoil those stories. No need to have read the others!

Sabrina is a ghost, the result of a rather treasonous act by someone, and now finds herself floating about the family castle, keeping her eyes on the murderer.

Kieran is half vampire, half death fae, with unique abilities to match his unique heritage. It’s the discovery of a new magical species that sends him into Sabrina’s world, and where the two of them learn that not everything is quite as simple as it seems.

This is an engrossing story, which draws the reader in, especially as they wonder if Sabrina will ever tell anyone what happened!
It’s fun to watch the ghostly heroine, when she realises that she’s not quite so invisible to death fae hybrids, and amusing to see the two of them try to figure out their feelings for each other.
There’s plenty of action in the book, and one or two steamy scenes. There is also lots of political maneuvering as the houses in the magical world try to control everything!
Scene stealer is definitely Krakenessie (my favourite character), but I do enjoy the saucy statements of our ghost-girl, and Kieran’s own brand of misunderstandings and “I really don’t care what anyone thinks if I call it an ‘ouchiemaker’” attitude.
Entertaining fun for Immortal Vices and Virtues fans, as well as PNR and Urban fantasy romance lovers.

Haunt Me is book 3 in the Immortal Vices and Virtues series and it takes us back to the same post apocalyptic world but with different characters. There’s some familiar faces and some new ones. Sabrina was murdered, and instead of dying or becoming a phantom, she became a ghost… that no one can see or hear, so she does what any good ghost would do, stalk her killer. But when the Houses learn about this new species of supernatural, and send a delegation to their castle in Scotland, Kieran can see her. The attraction between them is instant and hot, even if being a ghost puts a damper on things.

I loved this book! I’ve never read a ghost romance, and honestly I was a bit skeptical, but it really did work. This is a fantasy romance, but it has a murder mystery feel. The setting is perfect, a Scottish castle, and I loved the characters and the banter. Sabrina is full of sass and Kieran gives it right back to her and they are so funny! The humour is definitely a bit dark which isn’t surprising since he is a torturer for a living, and she is, well, dead. But they are perfect for each other and their chemistry is fabulous. There’s also lots of action and mysterious monsters and twists and I didn’t see the end coming, but it was perfect! Also, Krackenessie! I’ve loved every book in the series so far and I can’t wait to keep reading them!

I received an ARC from the author and I’m voluntarily leaving an honest review.

I grabbed this from the KU Library after finishing the two previous books in the series.

This starts with Sabrina planning to head back home after five years away when she meets a witch who reads her tarot cards and tells her she will die. Sabrina heads home to pack and is killed. Fast forward a year and Kieran and several other representatives from the different houses are on their way to investigate a new breed of supernatural that has come to light. As a half breed Kieran is both fae and vampire and has some very unique abilities - like seeing ghosts. Sabrina has been stuck wandering the halls of her childhood home as a ghost since her death and she can only hope that someone will finally be able to see her. When Kieran locks eyes on her on his arrival, she feels her first ray of hope in a year.

I did enjoy this book but not as much as I expected. I skipped entire paragraphs at times over the internal musings and dialogue. I just wanted the more relevant stuff and this book felt pretty long.

I liked seeing some of the characters from previous books like Moonlight Wraith and the King of Blood and Beryl as well as other important members of those houses. I also enjoyed the mystery of what had been leaving the crazy smells around the grounds. There was also a hot scene involving a shower and ghostly touches.

I'm liking this series enough to continue it, and, since every book is by a different author, I may enjoy later books too.

🌻 Main Characters - Kieran & Sabrina
🌻 Fated Mates
🌻 No cheating
🌻 Happy Ending
🌻 Trigger Warning ⚠️ : Erotic scenes (MF), Violence, Murder, and Torture
🌻 Spice: 🌶🌶🌶🌶
🌻 Plot: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5

Sabrina was murdered and turned into a ghost. She was supposed to be a phantom, which was an unkillable (Is it tho? 👀) supernatural. Only Kieran, Elias's step-nephew, could see her because he was a half death fae.

The attraction between them was instant, so I knew they were fated mates. They only found out they were mates when Sabrina got resurrected and became an official phantom.

I love how Kieran was supportive of Sabrina. He is so adorable and funny. He is kind of twisted and unhinged, but so is Sabrina. They are definitely made for each other. 😂

Sabrina stressed me out. It took her several chapters before she told everyone who her killer was. She was killed by Colin, her least favorite cousin. It was satisfying when she killed him. 😌

What I didn't like in this book was it was written in third-person point of view. It's the only book in the Immortal Vices and Virtues series that is written in third-person POV, so it took me a while to adjust.

Also, the alien-like, fish monsters came out of nowhere, but I guess their existence was needed in order to expose Sabrina's real abilities, and give way to the truth about her identity and why she was different from the other phantoms.

This book was a very good addition to this series, I loved Sabrina's personality and tenacity. The moment when she meets Kieran was unique and fun.
The connection between the two is really good, seeing how her relationship developed even though she was a ghost and he was the only one who could see her.

I give this book 3.5 stars because for me the last 20% was a bit, what's going on? Suddenly things happened that I didn't expect and not in the best way. Still, I think it's a good book in this series.

Thanks to the author for giving me the opportunity of reading this ARC.

This series is set in the Immortal Vices and Virtues Universe. There will be one book released each month , written by a different author. Haunt Me is book 3 in the series. Although it is recommended to read these standalone stories in order, you do not have to in order to enjoy each book. Each book has a guaranteed HEA.

These stories all grab me and pull me in. I swear they are each so different but amazing in their own way. This one follows Kieran who is the nephew to the King of Blood and Beryl. He is the torturer for the kingdom and they just found out Phantoms exist. He is sent to Scotland to try and recruit them to his house. What he finds is Sabrina, a beautiful, Sanrky and a complete smarta$$. The only problem is she is a ghost.......

This story was so fun to read. A beautiful paranormal romance but with a twist. The secrets and surprises were amazing and this entire series is so fun to read. This one had more of a humorous flavor and I devoured in in 2 days! I found myself laughing out loud and kierans witty comebacks and Sabrina.....She was a hoot. Her sexy one liners are amazing and I know you will love them too. Take my word, you want this series in your life. This one gets another 5 stars from me!

Ghostly Romance, What?!?!? I have to admit, I was a little leery at the premise of a ghost romance. However, Wow! Just Wow! Such a pleasant surprise and so much fun to read. This is the third book in the Immortal Vices and Virtues series but can easily be read as a standalone. Many characters were introduced in the previous books, but the story does not lose anything if you start here. (You do gain more of the world if you start from the beginning).
Sabrina is a hilarious ghost and Kieran is her perfect match. They start with some trust issues due to family secrets, drama and intrigue with some House politics thrown in due to the discovery of new supernaturals. The story starts with Sabrina’s murder, an introduction to Kieran’s job in his house, and a mystery to track down. As their stories converge, we have more mystery, definite distrust between House Ambassadors, and trickery. The banter between Sabrina and Kieran and their interaction with others keeps the story moving along well. Thoroughly enjoyed reading this installment and it’s definitely worth your time to dive into this world.

Number 3 out of 11 authors who participated in the Immortal Vises and Virtues anthology. Haunt Me could be read as a stand-alone; however, it is recommended to read each author's books in order so there won't be any confusion as it's set in the same world & mentions of characters in Haunt Me which were introduced in the previous books. Aw shucks, I thought I had a 50/50 chance of figuring out who the next House is going to be next but I was so wrong because it is a totally new House but with a character 1st introduced in book 1 & a mention here & there in book 2 (so half right haha).
Sabrina & Kieran. The plot is so interesting (I mean a bored ghost + a bored torturer = ghostly, torture romance), as you're reading it reads like a whodunit mystery with a splash of paranormal romance. The characters are interesting to read and figure out. Haunt Me got my attention but at the same time it got slow.

Oh my goodness I loved this book!!! It’s the 3rd in the immortal vice and virtue series. It can be read as a stand alone but you will get so much more reading them in order and learning about the world they are all set in from all the different stories. Even though they are all written by different authors they are tied together amazingly.

Haunt me was sooooo FUNNY it made me laugh as the MC’s Sabrina (and a ghost) monologue was all of a sudden heard by someone. I don’t normally read paranormal and this is a completely new author for me but I now want to go devour all her books. The story was enthralling.. the characters where so original.. the writing was outstanding.. it was just a well rounded truly amazing read that I can’t recommend enough! Oh and Kieran is hot and yummy.

All I can say is this series is completely blowing my mind with every book adding more and more.

A MUST READ PEOPLE!!!
