It's Valor's turn to find his special someone and I am so here for it! Why? Because these cyborgs deserve all the love after everything they've been put through. Cadet's cyborgs in particular are all damaged in some way after their years in the hands of the Humanoid Alliance and while they desperately want to find their genetic match, most of them think they won't. Or that their damage makes them undeserving.

Finding Halleli is...well, it's beyond anything Valor expected. Sure, sure, she thinks he's a ghost when she first lays eyes on him, but she thinks he's a SEXY ghost. And since he's very much not a ghost, that works out nicely. Once they rescue a few trapped cyborgs (by blowing up Halleli's house, as it turns out), they have all the time in the worlds to explore just how sexy she thinks the big cyborg is.
Like I said, I'm here for these cyborgs to find love and YESSSSS. Valor and Halleli do just that. Plus, they get to rescue a few more of Valor's forgotten and abandoned brethren and that's always a win!

This was a very short story in the author's newsletter.
The hero Valor spent many years as a torso. His arms and legs were torn off and he was left strapped to a bed in a room. After he was rescued, his skin didn't grow back so his arms and legs are all metal.
The most memorable part of the story was we found out B, from B Free by Cynthia Sax had his baby with his mate. No word on the baby's name yet.

Love all of the series she writes about cyborgs. This was a cute sweet love story about Valor who had been rescued from the horrors of the labs of the Human Alliance. He was rescued minus his legs so when he is whole again he wishes to find his mate who is made just for him.
Their romance is sweet but each have suffered a lot in the wars so there is a lot of pain too.
I just love cyborgs books and this was a good one.

Eh. Not anything worth reading. It was very short very easy very fast short. Nothing worth grabbing onto. The chad thing was funny though. But totally forgettable read. This author’s earlier novellas were more juicy then one even attempts to be. Good luck.

Valor es tan dulce, y como quiere sentirse necesitado ayuda a varias de las personas del planeta a adaptarse. Halleli no le importa abandonar lo que conoce, porque al igual que los cyborgs sabe que tiene una pareja destinada.

Such a sweet romance for Valor, I was very glad I got to read this. I liked Halleli and how she meshed so well with her cyborg.
