It's that time of year again! It's always Christmas in Holiday Haven, but this December is a special one. Carolyn Highcrest is preparing for her parents to visit for the inn's annual celebration… and to finally meet her boyfriend, Spencer.
But when a mysterious package thief strikes the local postal service, Carol finds herself compelled to help Spencer find the culprit. Someone seems intent on ruining the holiday fun, with presents disappearing left and right and a spate of bad luck which reminds Carol of the havoc the previous year wreaked by an out-of-control wishing box.
With scheming co-workers, bizarre guests and an old rivalry to contend with, Carol finds herself under pressure. Can she save the holidays without having to resort to opening her old wishing box again?

Book 14/ I'm almost done with this series. One more book to go.no have enjoyed the variety of Authors and stories in these series This is one is about Carol and Mercy that have an Inn. Janice their rival is trying to pull one over on them. Carol parents that make unique and magical hats came again from England. And her young sis Bella. Bella has some things up her sleeve. Spencer the delivery guy that is dating Carol is having problems in the post office. Packages are not being received. There is a cute little owl that helps him carry little things but he is to little to carry what Spencer has to haul. So Carol is helping him. The packages that are going somewhere else other than the right places. It is very fishy. I can't wait to read the last one. Had fun reading them

This was a great story - moved fast and was very entertaining.

More blaming everyone and anyone
When the postal service starts experiencing technical issues with parcels disappearing and redelivering themselves to entirely the wrong place Spencer is finding his job impossible to keep up with.
In jumps Carol to "solve" the issue. She looks at Travis, Spencers coworker, Janice, Dennis and even the fairy staying at Janice's Inn but the truth is a lot nearer to home.
She once again has nothing complimentary to say about her parents and even though they have done nothing beyond sell hats and try to help she's got nothing but a litany of criticisms.

Carol and Mercy are back with the Holiday Haven Inn . Carol’s gotten closer to Spencer. And Sunbeam, the Fluffy , tiny owl proves himself irreplaceable in helping around. When the mail goes wonky and nothing gets delivered to the right person and then disappears, the Post office is working overtime. Or over overtime! Is there a reason for this, or did it just happen? Of course not! Things like this usually take a wish – that went wrong!
Will Carol and Mercy be able to save their Christmas program when everything starts going wrong? You’ll just have to read and see

More Christmas Mayhem
Of the 15 books in the Holiday Haven series, this storyline and set of characters are my least favorite. I like the author but I just feel blah about the scenario of an inn, completing inn keepers, singing hats, and storybook characters ( the tooth fairy).
When I close a book I expect to think fondly of what I just read. Nope, I was just glad to tick this book off the series and go on.

Their event is falling apart as the carrollers and theater group get sick. And then Spencer goes missing. Carol has to get to the bottom of it and fast!

Mischief and mayhem
Mayhem ensues when the Christmas packages get mis-delivered, Spencer disappears and the 'flu bug threatens the Inn's events. There are several suspects and a very helpful little owl. Overall, an enjoyable story.

Good story
Exciting, humorous, some grumps add in some looking for revenge and you have an interesting story. The surprise is the mix up with the packages from the post office. It is hard to admit our wrong doings.
