He had fled his aristocratic home, due to his overbearing grandfather wanting to marry him off. He'd opted for the simple life and had managed rather well as a dance master and music teacher! Plus he had Roi, a stray who brought him companionship.
She on the other hand wanted... no needed security and stability and she had found that as assistant headmistress at Balderbrook's Institution for Genteel ladies. After all she had been left... no abandoned at a sister establishment and with her hard work she had risen to her current position. She had no need to marry and never would.
What neither had know was the attraction that would grow between them! Collette never fails to bring a smile and a patter to my heart! With her ingenious character names and animals.. no make that adorable companions that are a delightful part of her stories, I can only say, she is and has been one of my favorite authors!

The connection between Aston Chastity It’s a medium but neither recognize it at first for what it really is. Their interactions were charming and their love story is sweet.
This is such a delightful sweet story. Colette Cameron is a master at your craft and her stories always entertain you. The language, the humor, the storyline and the imagery are captivating and charming. She can make you laugh, giggle, and even bring tears to your eyes if only to see wipe them away with the magic of her words. This story is no different it’s as charming as ever. And the letters! I’m a big fan of letters and the letters written in this story are just fantastic. She has such a lovely way of defining her characters through their unique voices and their own words. If you haven’t read her books before, you’re in for a huge treat and if you have then you know this book is a must read.

Lovely, sweet story of Chasity Noble, a teacher and assistant headmistress of the Balderbrook's Institution for Genteel Ladies and Aston Terramier, grandson of a tyrannical viscount and the music and dance instructor at the school. Having to keep their budding feelings to themselves becomes increasingly hard to do, but with the unintended help from their nemeses, things just might work out for these two. Loved these characters and, as always, enjoyed Ms Cameron's story and writing style.

Miss Chasity Noble is an orphan and grew up in Haven House and Academy for the Enrichment of Young Women. Obtaining a job as assistant headmistress at Balderbrook's Institution for Genteel Ladies is a major step in her career as a teacher. Aston Terramier is the grandson of a Duke, but refuses to follow his dictates. Independent at making his own money, he is a dance teacher at Balderbrook's. The lovely Miss Noble has only been at Balderbrook's for a few months, but Aston is smitten and so is Chasity. Keeping their distance isn't working. A manipulative grandfather and the mistress of the school are causing them problems, until Aston realizes he has the solution. A sweet, clean romance of two people meant to be together.

I just loved this romantic story. Aston was a fine young man and Chasity was a smart and kindhearted woman who put on a facade of being stern for her charges. Aston could have power and money but he refuses his grandfather's terms. Chasity is an orphan trying to make her way in life as an assistant head mistress. Aston turns her world upside down as he teaches dancing and music at the girl's school. There are surprises galore in this story. Such a lovely story.

This a wonderful story, between two very deserving people.
Chastity Noble is a young lady with noble blood but born on the wrong side the blanket making her Illegitimate.
She was raised in Haven House Academy for young Ladies. Which is another name for a high paid orphanage. Haven House is where members of the ton, pay to keep mistakes from society. She has worked hard and finally has what she most wanted in life, security. She has a place to live, food and a good job. She is now the youngest assistant headmistress at school for young ladies. She follows all the rules and does nothing out of line as propriety is most important to keeping her job. She has given up on ever marrying or having a family and children. Her life is not easy, but comfortable. All except for the headmistress, Mrs. Crenshaw has it out for her. She assigns Chastity tasks that should be hers to do. All is going well till Chastity has to oversee the dance lessons with Mr. Aston Terramier ! He is way too young and handsome to be a dance teacher for young girls.
Mr. Aston Terramier is the grandson of a Viscount who has turned his back on society rules and taken a job. This is unthinkable by the ton. Aston will do anything to defy his Grandfather. His Grandfather is a mean, overbearing and controls everybody's life. Except Aston who left the luxury and wealth behind and makes his own way.
Nothing is worth losing his freedom over. Aston has had an attraction for Chastity since he first met her but she goes out of her way to avoid him. Everything changes when she shows up in the dance room to oversee the girls.
Oh my, there is so much going on behind the scenes the neither Aston or Chastity knows about. As these two get drawn in to others plan and have to learn to trust each other to solve both they problems. Secrets from the past and

Having enjoyed the first two books in this series, I was happy to be able to read an advance copy of this story. The first chapters of Love Lessons for a Lady have great character development, & it definitely made me want to know more. When Aston & Chasity both find themselves manipulated by others, they have to fight to get control of their lives. They don’t seem destined to end up together, but sometimes love finds a way. Really enjoyed this quick, sweet story that left me smiling.

Chasity Noble has a job as an assistant headmistress at Balderbrook's Institution for Genteel Ladies. She hasn't been there all that long and has responsibilities to the students, keeps some of the ledgers, and sort of a jack-of-all-trades. Coming from Haven House and Academy for the Enrichment of Young Women, essentially a place where female by-blows of nobility were sent to live their lives and learn a trade, there weren't many options for Chasity, so landing this job was a big deal.
Aston Terramier is the dance and music instructor at the institution. He's got a story of his own, but he's handsome, charming, intelligent, witty, and gifted at music. He's surrounded by all of these females, both students and staff, and does his duty with professionalism and keeps it on a professional level, even when he had to dance with Chasity.
One dance was all it took for them to fall in love. But so much is going on in the book and I wasn't sure how they were going to get their happily ever after. It was a rocky road filled with deceit and manipulation from outside sources that had the potential to end it all for them.
This was a sweet romance with some feels, angst, and is easily read in a few hours. I loved Aston and Chasity and how their story came together and how they beat the odds.

This is the 3rd book in the series Daughter of Desire, but you do not have to read the whole series to enjoy this book. This book is a sweet clean romance between Chastity and Aston. Chastity was born illegitimate but has worked up herself to assistant headmistress at a girls school. To stay at this job she loves, she has to make sure she keeps her reputation spotless. Aston the grandson of a Lord, but he wants to make it on his own. He is a dance instructor at the school Chastity is working at. They ty to fight their attraction to each other because of their class difference. These two are such a nice couple and I enjoyed reading about them. This book did have 2 villains which of course I did not like, but was happy Chastity and Aston found their happy ending. This book put a smile on my face.

This is such charming story with a very sweet romance, and a wonderful hero and heroine. Aston Terramier is the grandson of a Viscount, such an evil tyrant of a man, that Aston turned his back on his noble background and took a job as a Dance Master/music teacher at a girl’s school. It’s there that he met the lovely Chastity Noble, a teacher at the school. An orphan that never knew her parents, she was fortunate to get the job at the school. She is smitten with Aston but knows there could never be anything between them. I love a hero that is strong and know his mind, and cannot be manipulated. Aston was this kind of man, yet gentle and loving. When he proclaimed his love for Chastity, he meant it, and would not be dissuaded. A simply delightful read!

fun read!
Chasity and Aston find love in spite of a despicable head mistress, a scheming grandfather and a multitude of issues. I love love the names Ms Cameron chose for her characters. I can nearly imagine their features just from their names.

This is the third book in the author’s Daughters of Desire (Scandalous Ladies) series. I found this book just as charming as I did the first two books: A Lady, A Kiss, A Christmas Wish, and No Lady for the Lord. I love how Ms. Cameron manages to infuse warmth into her characters, both human and four-legged, as well as come up with an enchanting and engaging romance that keeps my interest.
The series heroines, though born on the wrong side of the blanket, were raised and educated at the Haven House and Academy for the Enrichment of Young Women. In this work, Chasity Noble, when she left Haven House, had been promoted to an assistant headmistress position at Balderbrook’s Institution for Genteel Ladies. She is determined to conduct herself with utmost decorum and forego any romantic wishes. She finds that hard to do when the finishing school hires Aston Terramier, grandson to a Viscount, as a dance and music instructor. Aston is not the usual Lord of the Ton. He believes in working for a living and defies his grandfather’s dictates to cease his position.
As to be expected, the attraction between Chasity and Aston slowly grows. Chastity is torn. Not only with her growing feelings for Aston, but also because she is concerned about issues going on at her school as well as with her headmistress. There is plenty of humor in this story, but there is also a little bit of darkness in the events that take place and there are secrets that are revealed. The writing style and flow of the story were good. It had enjoyable secondary characters, except for the few that were pretty awful for their misdeeds. Aston Terramier and Chasity Noble are both employed at Balderbrook's Institution for Genteel Ladies. Aston teaches dance and music to escape his tyrannical grandfather. Chasity is a teacher, assistant headmistress, and unofficial bookkeeper. Aston and Chasity are attracted to each other, but problems caused by his conniving grandfather and the unscrupulous mistress of the school make a romance difficult. Difficult, but hopefully not impossible. This is an entertaining and interesting story. There are secrets, schemes, a bit of drama, plenty of humor, romance, and a couple of surprises. Aston and Chasity make a great couple, and they are surrounded by likeable (except our villains, Grandpa and Mrs. Crenshaw) characters. I enjoyed this story. It is a wonderful addition to the series.

Love Lessons for a Lady, by Collette Cameron. Aston and Chasity were great in this sweet little story. I give praise to the writer keeping me entertained with the little twist and turns of the story. The characters and their secrets had me on the edge of my seat waiting for them to get caught because of their trickery. I found myself rooting for Chasity to dish out paybacks for what Mrs. Crenshaw tried foisting on her. Aston was great. His infatuation with Chasity was both sweet and charming. I liked how he was able to maintain his patience when it came to his uncle and cousin. I believe he new that things would work out right without him getting his hands to dirty.

I loved this couple & the story was entertaining from the beginning until the end.
Chasity Noble was born illegitimate but has fought her way to finally have some security & has been hired as assistant headmistress at a girl's school. She knows she is lucky to have the position because she is so young & unmarried - she must comport herself with complete correctness & that includes no interest in the handsome dance instructor at the school.
Aston Terramier is the grandson of a viscount but has chosen a life away from the luxury. He could not live under his grandfather's demands on marriage & running his life, so he is making a living with his talents, intelligence & outgoing personality. He also has plans with investments & future business ventures to increase his money-making efforts & now there is the beautiful assistant headmistress that he cannot get out of his mind.

I loved this couple & the story was entertaining from the beginning until the end.

I really enjoyed Love Lessons For A Lady. This is book three in the Daughters of Desires Series by Cameron. Although the third book, it truly can be read as a stand alone. It is a sweet and at times funny Regency era romance. I think the hero Aston is a well developed character and I liked the chemistry between him and the heroine Chasity. One of my favorite moments. “The truth of it is, I’ve decided a kiss is a rather grand idea after all.” Her focus trailed to his mouth, and her tongue darted out for a fraction of a second. “Why?” she whispered. “Because I would regret it for the rest of my life if I did not kiss you.” Aston leaned nearer until his mouth was a mere inch from hers.” Looking forward to the rest of the stories in this series.

I enjoyed the story of Chastity and Aston. I do wish we could have more information on what Mrs Crenshaw was up to. I liked the ending and how things ended up with Aston's family, but the letters at the beginning of each chapter were a bit hard to keep track of in the story line. I did love how strong Chastity was in her thoughts and beliefs as well as Aston's standards. I'm also hoping Purity and Faith end up with their own stories! Thank you for the advanced copy, it was a delight to read!

A story that is full of intrigue and charm. Chasity and Aston find themselves in challenging situations and manage to get through them with grace and honor. Well written with a happy ending. A few questions I would have liked answered but not necessarily needed for the storyline.

What a lovely sweet read this book is.
I love when the plot is outside ballrooms and focus and commoners. And while I can’t call Aston a classical commoner, he left everything behind and made his own path in life with his specific talents. He is a man who refuses to bend to his grandfather’s will, he preferred poverty to enslavement as surrendering to him, would be abdicating his freedom and liberty of thoughts.
Chasity has even less voice and choice than Aston, as a woman, her conduct must be irreproachable as any misstep would see her being dismissed. So she has a wear a mask all the time, as many jealous tongues would be happy to see her stumbling.
Why she can’t show any weakness even more in presence of the charming Aston.
But when both their positions are threatened, where is the right and wrong. They are two honorable people who do not want to curve their path for anyone but can they manage it without damage when people have set their course with ill intentions toward them.
The author offers us a lovely lively romance of two very worthy persons who can’t be bought.

I so enjoyed Love Lessons for a Lady by Collette Cameron. This is the third book in the Daughters of Desire: Scandalous Ladies series but it can easily be read as a standalone. The story provides all the feels you want in a romance: witty banter, awesome chemistry, dastardly antagonists, angst, some mystery added in, Ms. Cameron’s quirky humor, and a HEA.
Chasity Noble was raised and schooled at the Haven House and Academy for the Enrichment of Young Women, as are all the heroines in the series. She is currently employed as the assistant headmistress at Balderbrook’s Institution for Genteel Ladies. Having grown up illegitimate and an orphan, this position brings Chasity the income and security she craved her entire life. Along comes the music and dance teacher who throws her world off kilter.
Aston Terramier chose to step away from his family and society after a disagreement with his grandfather, the Viscount of Woolbury. He thoroughly enjoys defying his grandfather’s wishes by working and avoiding marriage. He is very happy in his life working and caring for his dog until he meets Chasity. What starts as a flirtation quickly turns into something more, and Aston is taken by surprise.

I liked this relatively clean and 100% safe story. Both the MCs were likable and admirable. The lovely hero was just delightful as he treated women with complete respect. Very refreshing, for sure. However, I felt like there were quite a few aspects of this story that could've been fleshed out for a more complete and satisfying story.

This was a lovely sweet romance with very engaging characters. Aston is determined not to be under his vindictive grandfather’s rule and has been working as a music and dance teacher. He is handsome and has all the women and girls swooning after him. However, he isn’t interested in marriage as his grandfather is sure to cause trouble for his wife. Chasity, is an intelligent young lady and the staff at her school are envious of her beauty and youth. Aston and Chasity are attracted to each other but there are a number of things that cause problems for them. This was an entertaining read, with the usual quirky expressions that I enjoy. It moved along at a good pace and had a satisfying ending. I received a copy and have voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
