Life on Shelnora Island seemed to be perfect for me. A tropical paradise, great food, and beautiful women at the local sorority... until I crossed paths with a mysterious murder and sightings of an honest-to-God werewolf!

Now I'm surrounded by three beautiful women, all drawn into the mystery, and it turns out that my new dog is a smoking hot shapeshifter. Life's gotten crazy, but maybe, if we all work together, we'll find out who the real killer is.

Please don't fuck your dog.
Please don't fuck your dog.
Please don't fuck your dog.

ooohh....no.

An important question to have asked the dive instructor when you were interviewing him about his stolen tooth might have been 'who actually knows you had that tooth?' Might have solved the mystery right there.

Also, funny that MC is all worried about ferry guys perving up the girls skirts, and then 5 min later MC is perving up the girls skirts. Hypocrite.

This story doesn't take itself seriously, just like any Scoobie Doo mystery.

It's my first foray into Simon Archer's works, but i don't think i'll continue.

A dream born in every man-child

Vampire Hunter Lincoln stayed “A time comes to set aside childish endeavors…” loosely what said in the movie.

The novel was a blast of a read it was a truly organic story that nothing seemed lost from the source material from the start that I was hooked from the first page so bravo to you Simon. The thanks I give was taking the old Scooby-Doo gang from are childhood taking it out like old Yeller then give it the form every man-child wished if there in the gang that I felt like I was in the story, making the dreams of millions come true so thank you.

I did have two problems the jumping on to the werewolf idea at the start was a bit to strong that felt force and low EQ/IQ of the doctors/cops at times really got on my nerves I know this was to move the story along but try fix this in later novels if not for this you would’ve got 5 stars.

Entertaining and fun to read!

From the cover it's fairly obvious that this gained inspiration from an old childhood favorite cartoon of mine.

And that was fine by me. The characters, were well designed to the genre of this book with a nice twist, the plot was excellent and darker than expected, but in a way that made it more gripping.

Looking forward to seeing how many more will join this series!

This was not really what I expected. It was so much better. It was marked as comedy / All Audiences at my digital library, but this is ✨️spicy✨️ NSFW. This mystery is so fun and Scooby-Dooesque. I highly recommend if you're into that.

This is Scooby Doo.

Who doesn't love Scooby doo. Seriously, if you are a fan then read this book. If you are not, then it will be a toss up whether you like it.

Good in concept, poor in execution. Overall plot and story wasn’t bad (for its genre) but the actual details were poorly written.

As evidenced by the cover, this is a fun, sexy, adult take on a popular kids cartoon. A little silly, sure, but that's part of the charm for me. The gang's all here, and meet each other for the first time in this outing. Fred has been replaced by Freya, and shaggy Steve's newly adopted german shepherd is Sophie. Thanks to this being in the paranormal / shifter genre, Sophie and Steve can still have sexy fun without things getting awkward.

The plot has several twists and turns and plenty of suspects, typical of the cartoon series. One of the oddly nostalgic scenes for me is when Steve gets a new van for the gang to travel around in as part of the story line. They all throw out their own suggestions for naming the van, with my favorite being the Mystery VonVan. Now, the gang's all back together. :) And no, that doesn't include a scrappy pup, because no one ever liked him anyway.

I'm definitely looking forward to more books in the series, and seeing where the team ends up.

An adult version of another crime solving gang

This was good, I mean really good. It's the origin story for this series and was lots of fun to read. I love that it is a spin on something that everyone would be familiar with and andt the same time different enough that it is unique and funny. I love that you think you know what is going to happen and then Bam! just like the other series there is a serious plot twist. Great work and look forward to reading about this crime solving gang and their dog.

Cool and sexy take on a classic

Now if you read this you know what the title is letting. This is not a bad thing. In fact it's a good thing. It's a classic that works. Just remember that it's 18+ . The story goes that a young student meets 4 women, one of which can makeshift into a dog, when a strange case of a murder pops up which points to a werewolf involved. A tense mystery story takes place which made it so I couldn't put down.

A great take on a classic cartoon team of investigators. Without risking some sort of copyright policing, Steven and Sophie, along with Veda, Delaney and Freya look into several gruesome murders that would have never been shown on Saturday morning cartoons. It was a fun time and hoping to see more adventures with the gang.

Scooby doo anyone?

This reeks of the Scooby Doo mysteries animations from years ago. The guy, the dog, the minibus… even the big reveal at the end. Just in a harem setting. The writer made life easy for him. Even the book cover reminds of that.

Not bad, but not really good either. Perhaps too easy ?

You have to read it!!

What!? Just one of the best twist on my old Scooby Zoo and the gang I've ever read!!
This was great story and the twists and turns and the fresh outlook is what is needed in times like these.

I recommend this author and all of his work for your reading pleasure!!

Well done Mr Archer, well done!!

Great mystery

Better than a Scooby Doo mystery. At the last minute it all clicks and the monster loses its head. A lot of twists and turns. More sex than I usually like but the story carries really well even skimming the saucier parts. Definately going to be one of my new favorite series.

A very fun harem spoof of a childhood show. I was definitely sceptical at first but I couldn't stop reading it till it was done. You follow the characters through in investigation as you get to know them.

I am sure you will enjoy it as well if you don't mind adult adaptations of childhood favorites.

Looks like we have a mystery on our hands.

And here we are, similar yet different. Simon Archer brings a bunch of kids solving supernatural cases. And jinkies if it isn't a shaggy kind of day. You favorite sleuths with a twist. Come try and solve the mystery before they do.

Simply one the most entertaining mysteries I've read this year. Love the tribute to Scooby Doo, the characters being especially well adapted and the plot is strong too. Hopefully more volumes will follow!

This was a fun book. I loved the mystery and being a fan of a certain dog it was a blast to see it all come together in the end. Hope there are new mystery to solve soon.

Mystery machine 2?

Our hero. Is a combo of Freddie and shaggie with a sexy version of scoobie. I take it by next book he nails them all! Like more description of body shapes too. Even did the unmasking at the end!

Hay! Scooby!!

This is a sexy version of Scooby Doo and just like the series I did not know who the villain was! It may be a bit corny but I think any future books should a bit more sexy time but more monster girl mystery.

Suspenseful

Fun mystery with surprises and plot twists. I enjoyed it, but couldn’t get the idea away from it being a Scooby Doo clone complete with four kids and a dog. I’d still like to see a sequel.

A fun parady

A different take on my favorite show. This was a fun read and I really enjoyed it. The characters and plot borrowed just enough from the original to do it justice and I found myself watching the original shows again.

Scooby Doo well updated

I like the storyline. Main characters were pretty interesting. The action appeared to be well scripted. It has a little eroticism. All in all I think a well written story.

This was a fun read! I like the Scooby-Doo feel to it and of course the mystery, in trying to figure out who done it. Then there was the bits of humor thrown into this title that seemed to make it work for me.

A pretty good story despite boiling down to an erotic parody of a certain famous cartoon series. The book took its time to introduce the characters and make help the reader find each of them to be entertaining. The book also managed to contain a pretty decent twist to the mystery.

The Mystery Inc gang… but a little more heat

The book read about as much as you’d expect, and ended about the same way.

The oddity is the shape shifting dog that turns into a hot woman, but I suppose it makes it work?

As much as I wanted to dislike this book for how silly it is and how ridiculous some of the leaps of logic were, it was a fun overall read. Take it for what it is and you'll enjoy it. Search for deeper meaning and you'll find yourself disappointed.

The story was OK. I think the characters are fairly forgettable, there is just not enough depth to make them relatable or distinguishable. The mystery aspect of the story was the better part, not great, but sophmoric and in true mystery inc form, fun. But not sure if this is enough to continue.

It was hilarious and entertaining. I never thought a Scooby doo parody could make such a wonderful Harlem series but it did

Very good book

This is a fine urban fantasy mystery novel that is in homage to Scooby Doo. It is well written and edited. I anxiously await the sequel.
