Too much time between one volume and the next, they need to come out faster.
Here finishes the Goblin Pladain arc (i don't remember the actual name of the arc xD) and it was a satisfactory one. I already knew what would happen because its the arc of the movie Goblin's Crown but still, it was pretty good. A fast pace and action packed ending to the battle.
The new arc has the introduction of a new character that, it seems that there's more to him but for now, he's a pirce of shit. The comedy as always was on point, there's always a scene of two per chapter that makes me chuckle.
Overall: Solid volume.

Lunacy and the rise of Goblin Slayer Junior
Here we see the big finish to the quest of dealing with the goblin paladin and his horde of the usual monstrous humanoids. It is do or die quite violently as GS attempts to outsmart and out move a goblin who is capable of learning, adapting, and now possesses a weapon of dangerous sharpness. Then we get a little after adventure party session to wind down from the action, see there is a new training center being created for rookie adventurers, and meet the often rude caster who has his own vendetta against goblins. With Priestess not being able to level her tier thanks to adventuring with higher tier heroes up till now perhaps her kindness and experience will be of help to the new guy before his recklessness becomes a problem.
Of course after every book there is (or so I think so far) a short story and this one is called "Of Wanting to Be the Strongest in the World" about a new adventurer of the Rhea race, which are the Goblin Slayer equivalent of Hobbits, that we see in the earlier parts of the book and the start of her own quest to reach for her dreams. Honestly I really like her as a character and I hope we see her getting stronger at least though it is her grandfather who I really enjoyed with his pragmatic and experienced council.

Il volume undici segna la fine di un arco narrativo e l'inizio di un altro. Tanto per cominciare, vediamo il duello tra Goblin Slayer e il goblin paladino, un duello che farà suonare il campanello d'allarme per il nostro Orcbolg, visto che i goblin che avevano preso possesso della fortezza nanica, era probabilmente intenti a costruire una raffineria per metalli. Un'ipotesi quantomeno inquietante, visto che dimostra come i goblin si stiano evolvendo sempre di più. Non si sa se ci sia qualcuno dietro queste azioni o se sia tutta farina del loro sacco...sta di fatto che le cose potrebbero farsi molto pericolose in futuro.
Il nuovo arco narrativo ci presenta l'arrivo dei novellini alla gilda degli avventurieri. Uno in particolare, un po' troppo arrogante e saccente per i miei gusti, si rivolge a Goblin Slayer per imparare a uccidere i goblin. Tanto non può essere così difficile, no? Classico caso di "ultime parole famose"...per sua fortuna, il nostro protagonista prova pure a fargli capire un paio di cose, a modo suo ovviamente, ma forse un po' di pratica sul campo potrebbe fare bene a tutti. Tanto più che qualche genio, indispettito dalla saccenza del ragazzino, gli suggerisce di prendere e andare ad ammazzare goblin per davvero, in un gruppo guidato dalla nostra piccola sacerdotessa (leggermente abbacchiata perché non le è stata riconosciuta la promozione sperata). Sullo sfondo, si parla dell'apertura di un nuovo centro di addestramento per avventurieri.
Punto interessante di questa seconda parte del volume è Goblin Slayer, o meglio, le sue interazioni all'interno della Gilda: la sua ossessione per i goblin lo rende sempre oggetto di pettegolezzo (anche se lui non ci fa particolarmente caso), alcuni lo trovano strambo, altri non meritevole del suo grado argento, altri ancora lo trattano con simpatia. Quel che è certo, è che lui ha capito di non poter fare più tutto da solo: ormai si è abituato alla presenza dei compagni, ha fatto dei grandi passi avanti per uno con il suo carattere. E, allo stesso tempo, gli altri non si sognano più di mandarlo in giro da solo: certo, di sorprese ce ne sono poche, visto che con lui si va solo a caccia di goblin, però meglio di niente, no?
P.s: vogliamo parlare un attimo dell'amica d'infanzia che alla risposta "ma se sei sua moglie?" dice di sì???? Mi sa che lui non ha proprio capito il significao di quell'anello che si è fatta regalare alla festa del raccolto. Povero Goblin Slayer!
