Probably would not have read this if it wasn't recommended to me. It's very clear the Japanese setting it was just chosen for the cute aesthetic and nothing else which leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth.
The romance was fine, I felt a bit robbed of a climactic moment in their past.

La storia mi è piaciuta molta, così come le due protagoniste.
Lo stile di disegno è fantastico, proprio quello che piace a me.
Quello che mi è piaciuto di meno è l’ ambientazione giapponese, che secondo me non è per nulla azzeccata, mi è sembrata una storia molto italiana.

Niente di eccezionale, carino ma un po' troppi luoghi comuni. Peccato poi che all'inizio ci sia un enorme spoiler, cosa che toglie gran parte della suspense.

Bello bello BELLOOOOO!!!
Ho amato questa storia dall'inizio alla fine!
Di una dolcezza infinita, gestita con i giusti tempi e con tutte le dinamiche che più mi piacciono.
Ho adorato l'utilizzo dei flashback attraverso la narrazione al bar con le amiche.
In realtà HO ADORATO TUTTO! Me lo rileggerei ora (penso proprio che lo farò).
Ho apprezzato lo stile dei disegni, i dettagli e il fatto che tutte le tavole fossero colorate.
Ma poi loro sono stupende, mamma mia, VI AMO!!!
Ho sempre paura a leggere dei GL perché la maggior parte delle volte finisco per ritrovarmi con due protagoniste IDENTICHE, nell'aspetto e nell'atteggiamento.
Invece in questo caso entrambe le protagoniste sono ben caratterizzate e perfino agli antipodi. Proprio alla "gli opposti si attraggono" a cui però aggiungo "e si equilibrano perfettamente".

Ok, here’s my review: 3 stars is a strage mark for me, usually either I like or dislike a book but this was 50/50
The manga is nice and the story in general too as well as the idea of making it a story told by the main characters, but Aruka (one of the main characters) was super annoying and immature, she was some kind of scoundrel, i mean I like tough characters but she’s so violent and this is unacceptable for me! She doesn’t deserve Yukimi at all.
I also hated all of the stereotypes and the cliché about non-queer characters. It seems like either you’re lesbian or you’re a stupid superficial girl. (Like the one asking about their story or Yukimi’s friends)
Also the Japanese setting is very forced and unrealistic.

Una storia davvero dolce, pur con gli alti e bassi di un'amicizia stretta che si fa un po' più distante crescendo, il ritrovarsi e al tempo stesso quel timore di Prova la stessa cosa? o Vale la pena rischiare di rovinare tutto?
Mi è piaciuto molto l'utilizzo del flashback alternato al presente per raccontare la storia, più particolare rispetto all'andare in ordine cronologico.
Il tratto e il colore sono splendidi, hanno quella softness che si sposa benissimo con il tono della storia. Insomma fuzzy feelings all around (?)
Tra l'altro piacevolissima scoperta accorgermi che su webtoon sta continuando ad uscire content! E se non ho capitolo potrebbe esserci un "volume 2" in futuro (e lo spero perché ho adorato due storie extra al momento webtoon only)

A fun graphic novel with manga-art-style which I really liked. But I just wasn't a fan of Aruka, she just annoyed me SO MUCH, she was just always so angry, geez. But I did like the story in general, Yukimi was so sweet and fun. And I love that this story of these two getting together is told at a party between these two and two other friends. It made me smile. Plus, the confession scene (FINALLY) w as so sweet and I am happy they finally spoke about things.

Lindo pero la forma en como empiezan a salir no me convenció. Creo que tenía para más capítulos porque lo sentí como un resumen, es decir, que se estaban omitiendo cosas relevantes, como por ejemplo: cómo es que Yukimi se enamoró.
Por otro lado, es una historia tranquila y agradable, amé a los personajes secundarios, especialmente Saori. Me hubiera gustado saber más de ella, sale tan poquito y aún así me encantó su personaje.

I loved this cute GL. I’ve never read a GL story like this before and I think it was a great story. The plot was smooth, the slice of life aspects were wonderful, and the characters were likeable.

This was just so adorable. The artstyle is gorgeous, the characters were too easy to fall in love with and their story was just sweet as heck. Definitely recommend!

I’ve actually read the webtoon which is a bit longer than the book and I loved it!! It was really nice and cute, the characters are all very lovable and relatable and I enjoyed it so much

"Kiss it goodbye" caught my eye at Japan Expo with its very beautiful and soft artstyle, and the whole "slice-of-life soft love story between two teenage girls" is what really pushed me to buy it. it sat in the middle of my to-be-read list for about 3 months before i finally decided to pick it up and, boy, am i glad i did.
the story is simple but very sweet and the narration grabs you right of the bat. i immediatly got attached to the characters (and i definitely need to check the artist for more of them-) and their evolution, and their story was really nice and fun to follow.
i'm very glad i decided to buy it even though i didn't know the artist or the universe, something i'm not used to do at anime cons but that i will absolutely be doing more if it means i get to discover more gems like this one !!

I really enjoyed this book. It's really cute and I love the girls. What bothers me is that, compared to other romance stories, I'm not as invested in this one and I have no idea why that is, as I enjoy the story and the art very much.

Uma história adorável de duas mulheres que ao se reunirem com suas amigas, começam a contar quando se conhecerem e como passaram a ser um casal. Elas se conheceram muito jovens e se tornaram melhores amigas por anos. No entanto, no ensino médio, em uma escola nova, quando Aruka era mais agressiva e inconsequente e Yukimi era mais aplicada e dedicada a se enturmar, elas acabaram se afastando. E levou uma grande confusão para que elas voltassem a se falar.
Tanto a história quanto a ilustração são adoráveis e consegue transparecer o amor das meninas, mesmo quando elas não sabiam que eventualmente sua amizade se tornaria mais. Aruka já sabia que era lésbica no colégio e parte do escrutínio que passa é resultado de lesbofobia. Enquanto Yukimi está incerta sobre relacionamentos e não sabe sobre sua sexualidade.
É um caso de opostos se atraem combinado com amigas de infância para amantes sáfico.
Tanto a história quanto a ilustração são adoráveis e consegue transparecer o amor das meninas, mesmo quando elas não sabiam que eventualmente sua amizade se tornaria mais.
