Really, I'm a lover of chocolate, a strong jaw line with a 5 o'clock shadow, and romances that make your heart pound and your middle get all squishy. I love quiet country living on my north Georgia farm with my family and fur babies of all shapes and sizes. I think the scariest thing in life is how fast my daughter is growing and an empty coffee pot. I can't stand slow drivers in the fast lane and wimpy handshakes.

A mythological must read!

When the Goddess of hearth and home becomes the object of interest between both Poseidon and Apollo, Hestia must choose who will be the one who claims her heart. Poseidon, King of the seas, offers her power she’s never imagined, while Apollo, the poet prince will write her name in the stars. I read this to listen to a podcast discussion. It’s different than a lot of the retellings I’ve read recently… because it’s chaste. A lovely story with great points but not what I wanted/expected.

This was a delightful little novella. I especially loved Hestia's friendships (they were with all the gods and goddesses who were my favorites when I was a kid), and I found the ending fulfilling. (I disagree with the review that says it is not a HEA—um, they're together every night in a way that seems to make them both happy?)

One of my secret love in books is the Gods of Olympus. Their bickering and antics trying to one up each other. This was about Hestia Goddess of heath. Although this was a short read it left me wanting more for the goddess and the characters.
