WOW! What a fast paced and throughly engrossing story! Tonia keeps having a recurring nightmare where she's taken from the garden and her best friend, and he is trying to fight to get her back. Then years later her mistress Ally Wilson and she are traveling to meet Ally's fiancee Lukas Merrick only to be kidnapped falsely having been identified by Ally as herself! Now she and Lukas, who has also been kidnapped, have to figure out how to get out of their predicament together even though he knows she isn't Ally. Mr. Howell is not a man to be trifled with and when they try their first escape he does something to Lukas very callously and threatens both will suffer if they try again. Will they try again? What happens if they do? Also what revelation does Lukas make about Tonia? Only one way to find out, read this great story by Ellen Knightley! You wont want to put it down till the very last word! Also, don't forget to read the extended epilogue.

Great Great Read
Tonia had my creative juices flowing from page one. In my heart I knew that her and Lukas would be the main characters and fell into the plot with amazement in every chapter. Tonia’s dreams were a part of every year of her life while Lukas often thought of his best friend who was kidnapped while they were playing. When both were kidnapped as young adults for money and thrown into a barn Lukas began to be stirred in his spirit, mind and body by Tonia. Their escape confirm his thoughts. One of the best works of Ellen Knightly. A must read if you enjoy western romantic maid to manor stories.

I'm finished with True Love's Ransom: As usual, it seems that you read a story that you like, and then it has an extended epilogue that you can't get to because of an error reaching it. Why not just put the extended epilogues with the story. Some of the authors do and I appreciate them so much more. Good story and enjoyable, Just disappointing when you can't reach the conclusion that it hints is coming.

This is a good story, starting with a childhood kidnapping. Jumping ahead, the kidnapped girl now grown, there is yet another kidnapping, of her and a man. fyi the first 40% is all about them in their captive cell. But the storyline builds quite the twisted tale. It is a good read. I can't really say more without giving key points away.

Beautiful journey of adventure and love. I absolutely loved and enjoyed reading this amazing story. The characters were interesting and entertaining as the story definitely makes you stay engaged from beginning to end. The extended epilogue surely gives a beautiful view of the happy ending. Excellent writing.

Kidnapped for ransom, the heiress throws her maid 'under the bus'. When the kidnappers arrive at their hideout, she is thrown together with the heiress intended. The story continues with their bumbling escape with the expected twists and one that is unusual. I enjoyed the story and would recommend it to people who enjoy this genre.

So cute, totally predictable but unpredictable with some good suspense and great chemistry between the characters! One id put on my shelf. First read for this author, excited to try some of her other books

Ransom!
2 kidnappings years apart yet seem so familiar. How she was taken from the stage couch for ransom happened so fast she didn't have a chance to correct who they thought she was! Lots of action and suspense with a perfect sweet romance. Loved it!
