Unfinished fic, it’s bloody brilliant, and I need the author to update before I implode.
Some things that set this fic apart:
-multiple perspectives from characters we’ve never heard from, including regulus, Severus, Warburga, Peter etc. which means interesting and insightful comments about their motives, personality, character arcs. Regulus’s chapters are some of my absolute favorite, and I’m dying to see what happens with him. (I mean, I know what happens but still)
- the buildup. This is really building the story, and it’s taking a looooong time but I’m in it for the loooooong haul

(finished up to chapter 107, the last one as of now but it's still being updated)
that last chapter was brutal and i can't wait for the next one, i'm kinda mad at myself for not waiting on updates anymore after the hogwarts graduation but i'm so glad i'm all caught up again! i've been reading this fic since late 2015/early 2016 i think, so not long after the first chapter was published. truthfully this is about a 4 star fic in my opinion, but since it's the only one i've stuck with for this long and i have so much respect for the author (if you're reading this i love you tara, thank you so much for this masterpiece and not giving up on it!) i have to give it a 5. this story will always be special to me and i recommend it to all marauders and wolfstar fans<3

I don’t remember a lot of the old fanfics I read I just saved them so I know they r good. I remember feeling immense joy and sadness.

dnfing this one about 70% in but I'm counting it as read because it's bloody long :/ I don't normally review fics, but thought I'd add a few points why I'm not going to finish this one.
The pacing was really weird, felt like the author was rushing to get to events, but then when we got there they were rushed?
The underage sex scenes. Literally why is a grown ass adult writing explicit sex scenes between two minors?? And there's a rather lot of them as well...
The fic as a whole is written well in terms of writing style, but none of the ideas are original and it just feels like a run of the mill canon compliant marauders fic, and with it not being finished and not being updated in over a year, I'm going to dnf it :)

this was so good and i loved having all the different perspectives. the bonds formed are literally unmatched to any other fic i’ve read. i hope the author continues it soon. the only reason i didn’t give 5 stars is bc i felt like some things were brushed over or rushed bc the it isn’t super long.

Unfortunately unfinished, but a nice-enough Hogwarts-years wolfstar fic. (It's supposed to end in 1981, but at the moment it ends just a bit after they finish school.) 2.5
