It's fine. The maps and pictures are decent considering it came out in 1989. Most of the content - maps and text - is focused on the army movements so it is fairly dry. Lots of x army moved to y area and maps with arrows and squares showing offensives. Apart from that there are some global political maps and economic maps of the major powers. The beginning of the book has a pretty thorough timeline for each continent and the end of the book has a detailed glossary of people and other topics which I didn't read through.
Overall, if you can find a cheap copy it might be worth getting but it is not worth seeking out and there are probably newer WWII atlases which might be better.
