It seems like the series is slowly approaching the end. In Left to Lure Adele and John start to hunt for the new killer but they are not at their best. She can't stop herself from obsessing with the Spade killer and with the protection of John her father. John keeps on swinging his thoughts towards his daughter and how much he wants her to meet Adele. Their behavior is having an impact on the case and the number of deaths keeps on climbing. Will they be able to solve this case? How will Adele deal with the Spade killer and the threat he delivered? Does he really believe that he is his muse and like him also a killer?
I really enjoyed reading this story with its twists and turns and unexpected ending.
I downloaded a free copy of this book through BookFunnel and this is my honest opinion.

After confronting the Painter, Adele realizes he is getting to walk free. She & John are sent to Italy to investigate a suspicious suicide(??) / hanging. While being very sleep deprived and worried about her father's safety, she and John continue until they finally solve the case. But, now there is a very surprising end to this story. Really enjoyed this book!

Another great page-turner in the Adele Sharp series. Adele is put through the wringer with the hunt for the hanging killer and the ongoing development to catch her mother's killer. There is so much I want to say but don't want to be spoiler so that's it for my review. I have already pre-ordered the next book in the series.

A killer 'suicides' strong, tall victims in crooked places. Adele and John investigate in Italy, even as the spade killer makes a maddeningly bold move. Will he ever be stopped? We finally reach the answer in this 12th book of the series. Perhaps as bonuses for readers who have persevered until now -- Adele is less annoying, and John shows a new side of himself.

Adele Sharp is so boring and her fuck ups on her job somehow make me feel better about me being not the employee of the month.
