Have the people of Pebble Cove welcomed a killer into their midst?
Two women wash up on the beach in front of Rosemary's tea shop. One is dead. The other is wounded and can't even remember her name. Is she also a victim or the killer?
When it becomes clear that the only souls who can help solve this mystery are those of the ghostly persuasion, Rosemary has to get involved. She must identify the killer before they strike again.
Eryn Scott is the author of heartwarming cozy mysteries. Her novels feature close friendships and strong families because those are the most important things in her life -- a little humor doesn't hurt either.
She calls the Pacific Northwest home and doesn't plan on changing that anytime soon. Eryn loves to hike, horseback ride, knit, ski, and read. She believes musicals are the greatest thing since lattes, even though she's not particularly good at singing or dancing -- hey, a girl can dream, right?
Her first cozy mystery series, Pepper Brooks, is based on some of the greats in classic literature. Each book features a different author from Shakespeare to Austen. Eryn's newest series is set in a little town called Stoneybrook. The Stoneybrook Mysteries follow local jam-maker Hadley James as she solves mysteries in her town's year-round farmers market. From deceased knitters to sabotaged florists, these crafty citizens keep Hadley and her twin brother, a deputy sheriff, on their toes. Pebble Cove Teahouse Mysteries are great for readers who love a hint of paranormal with their mysteries. These books feature a tiny town tucked between craggy coastline and rocky shores with quirky characters of both the living and non-living variety. Look for new releases from all three of these series in 2022 as well as Eryn Scott's new cozy series.

I don't like it when I finish a book by Eryn Scott in this series! I don't want them to end, they are almost too short. I loved the spirits, and I really loved this book with the special surprise. I can't wait for the next one, Rosemary & Asher are so close to solving his murder, but I don't want them to find out. And I'm looking forward to how the new resident fits in with the town, past & present inhabitants. I was given an ARC and I'm voluntarily sharing my honest opinion. I recommend this book, and the whole series, you won't be disappointed if you enjoy light, cozy mysteries.
It's always great to read a Pebble Cove Teahouse book! I love Rosie and Asher so much. I've been enjoying trying to solve the mystery surrounding Asher's death. I also liked the new addition of Callie. I can't wait to see what's next for them!
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher. I was not required to write a positive review. All opinions expressed are mine alone.
I just love this series and this book was no exception. The only ick I am feeling at this point - it sort of feels like Asher is not as eager to find his killer as Rosemary is. She brings up the clues and leads and he seems to get nervous and uncomfortable. Maybe he is changing his mind about the whole idea. Or maybe not but their connection just seems off and it throws off the vibe for me.
Aside from that though, this book's mystery story line was just as unique as can be. I found myself not trusting Hope for most of the book but that's me being used to all of the gritty mystery/thriller/horror books I read. I think she will be an interesting addition to the series going forward.
An amazing cozy mystery with Ghosts and cats to please everyone’s taste. Rosemary has to handle things once again. This series is well worth the binge time.
Rosemary Woodmere was on the beach with Asher, her ghost friend, trying to find ways to summon him if she ever needed him. It didn’t seem to be working, but she caught sight of activity in the water. She has another mystery to solve as two women are washed up onto the beach in Pebble Cove outside her tea shop. One of the women with a large bruise on her throat is unfortunately dead. The second woman, a large bloody gash on the back of her head, appears to have amnesia, not even knowing her own name. Rosemary called Chief Clemenson as soon as she saw the two of them. The Chief, Officers Kennedy and Gerard, and a team of paramedics jogged toward the beach with Dr. Ellis running up behind them. The blonde woman seemed to startle every time Asher talked to Rosemary. When he mentioned to her that the blonde could have even been the one who killed the dark-haired victim, the blonde angrily said she was NOT a killer – could she hear Ash?? And she was again glowering at Rosemary, so she could hear Asher but not “see” him.
Finally Rosemary admits she needs more ghostly assistance to identify the killer before someone else is attacked. The other ghosts in town had been spirits for less time than Asher, but they were often much more knowledgeable about ghostly happenings than Asher who had isolated himself most of the time. Can the ghosts help her? With Asher, her ghostly best friend by her side, will she track down the killer and get justice for the victim?
Ghosts and cats are the trademarks of this series and I love meeting them! The story was well-written, and the relationship between Rosemary and Asher was comfortable and affectionate. Grab your copy and find out about the strange occurrences on the beach!
4.5 Star review Dazed and Infused (Pebble Cove Tea House Mystery #5) by Eryn Scott
AUDIO REVIEW:
Book five in the Pebble cove Tea House series Scott and I couldn’t wait to see what has been happening in Pebble Cove. Rosemary Woodmere is once again involved in an investigation. When a woman is found dead on the beach near Rosemary’s tea house and another is injured things are about to get complicated.
As she investigates, much to the annoyance of the Sheriff, she also works to solve the mystery of her ghost Asher’s death. There were a number of twists and turns within the story. The narration by Jennifer Jill Araya was entertaining and brought the story to life with a voice that is easy to listen too.
This Pebble Cove episode was all over the place -- a new ghost in town, a mystery woman with amnesia, a dead woman, and new suspects in the century-old murder Rosemary has been trying to solve the entire series, a haunted asylum -- any of these new additions to Pebble Cove could have made an entire novel, but none received the attention needed to do so. Problems were solved through coincedence or seemingly as an afterthought.
Not great, but not so bad that I'm turned off the series. We'll see how the next book goes.
Rosemary finds herself in the middle of another mystery when two women wash up on the beach right outside her tea shop. One of the women is dead and the other has amnesia. It was an interesting case and I liked how it intertwined with the ongoing mystery of Asher's murder. Rosemary and Asher's friendship is one of my favorite parts of the series. They are so sweet together, and I don't know how it would or could happen but I hope they get an HEA!
If you are looking for a fun read with mystery, humor, and heartwarming moments, pick up this book and series!
Thank you to the author for providing an ARC for an honest review.
I live for these books and love Rosemary and Asher’s relationship even if he is a ghost. Figuring out who washed up dead on her beach along with a girl who has amnesia is no small feat but with the Sun Festival going on not all is what it seems.
A great book. Eryn strikes gold again and I love the new entry with Callie and her own special gift.
Love this series of books. Can’t wait to read book 6. It’s like the characters are people I know. I can never figure out who did the murder until the very end when it’s revealed.
I just drink up each book of this series, and this one was no exception. New ghost and new characters with the relationship between Rosemary and Asher growing, I cannot wait for the release of Book 6!
This is the fifth book in the Pebble Cove Teahouse mysteries by Eryn Scott.
Not only is there a new ghost to interact with, there is also a lady who has lost her memory but can hear the ghosts when they speak. It made it really hard for Rosie to solve the mystery by having to not talk to ghosts when around Hope and then trying to do her normal routine of using her cell phone when conversing with all the undead in town. Quite a mind bender, I know. The mystery was who killed Hope’s friend. They were found washed up on the beach and the new ghost was very helpful digging up clues and pointing them in the right direction.
Very well written and plotted. This is definitely one of my favorite series and look forward to each new book that is released.
If you love a cozy mystery, definitely check this one out. Great new must read book great series too!
“Dazed and Infused” is the already fifth instalment in the “Pebble Cove Teahouse Mystery” series by Eryn Scott, a cozy murder mystery with some paranormal elements and a pinch of romance, that is the ideal companion for a relaxing evening lecture while sipping a nice cup of tea, or any other beverage of your choice, but tea surely comes to mind 😊. Each book presents a different cozy mystery setting in Pebble Cove and affecting more or less directly Rosemary Woodmere and her Teahouse. The mix of quintessential nice small town and murder mystery is charming and amusing, as it is Asher, the ghost Rosemary originally ‘inherited’ with her grandmother Victorian house. The chemistry – when it comes to resolving mysteries -between Rosemary and Asher is undeniable and a never-ending source of entertainment. In fact, Asher, despite being a ghost, and thus giving a paranormal flair to the series, is fully credible, even relatable and feels very real at most times. This is a very well-written story, interesting, with enough twist and red-herrings to captivate the reader from start to finish, and with the added bonus of giving a very amusing insight into the small (non-really) sleepy coastal town.
“Dazed and Infused” confronts the town with the very real possibility of hiding a killer in their midst. Two women are found on the beach right by Rosemary’s teashop, one dead and one suffering from amnesia, the most pressing question is: is the survivor just another victim or maybe the killer herself? The answer can only be found in the ghost realm, and thus Rosemary and Archer get involved in the investigation, trying to find the real killer, before anyone else becomes the next victim.
Even in a series, I expect to have an ending to the story. I didn't feel like I got an ending with this book. I enjoyed the story but it was ruined for me at the end.
I loved this book but that is not surprising the whole series has captured my imagination and I can't get enough of all the ghost action. There is a long running mystery throughout this series, of who killed the resident ghost Asher, as if Rosemary doesn't have enough on her hands solving modern day murders. But I love it, the more you learn and eliminate suspects the more Asher comes alive and the author always gives it a little twist. The main mystery does get solved and boy has it added a new element to the series. There isn't a great deal of suspects because most of the book is spent trying to work out who the mystery girl is. This really works well in my opinion and keeps the reading hooked to find out more. I like all the characters in this series but once again it is the town ghosts that steal the show, of which there is plenty and are recurring characters, so read the rest of the series to get to know them. You won't be disappointed. I love how they all get involved in the mystery and have different ways of helping. Off to start the next book. Rosemary is shocked when two woman wash up on shore. Unfortunately one turns out to have been dead before she entered the water and the other one has no recollection of what happened or even her name. she isn't a suspect in her friends death and with a local music festival in the near by town the only place available to the young woman is a cot in the local jail. But when she shows signs of reacting to Asher, Rosemary is worried what staying with the old cantankerous ghost chief would do to the fragile w more harm, she offers to let her stay with her until she remembers who she is. This poses it own problems when a new ghost arrives and starts to case problems. Can Rosemary help the new ghost move on without scaring the mystery woman anymore? And what about finding her friends killer? The only way to do that is use the few clues the mystery woman provided when she was washed up on the beach. Can Rosemary and the town ghosts help her to remember who she is? I like the narrator. She is one of the better ones I listen to and it is always a pleasure to sit back and listen to her voice. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
A woman with no memory (along with a woman who's a little bit dead) has washed up on Rosemary's beach and Rosemary's attempting to figure out who she is and whether she's involved with the dead lady. To make things even more complicated, the amnesiac woman can hear (but not see) Rosemary's ghostly friends. Which is a little problematic since Rosemary hasn't admitted to ANYONE (including her mother and townie BFF) that she can communicate with said ghosts.
While the ghosts are trying to lay low (or at least not talk to Rosemary or one another when Hope is around), Rosemary's following up on the scant clues Hope is able to provide about her past. Which are seriously lacking. Throw in a rowdy new spirit who's making things difficult for some of the long-time locals (of both the ghostly and living variety) and a trip to the big city and Rosemary has a lot on her plate.
On the plus side, she might garner a new friend out of this messy situation. On the downside, said new friend has no idea who she is or what's led to her being washed up on the beach. But some digging and clubbing (of sorts) MIGHT get Hope some answers. Maybe.
A messy situation, another individual who is inducted into the "friends of the ghosties" club, the indie music scene, and Rosemary and Asher right in the thick of things. As we all like!
The ending of this book was so much perfection! EEEK! But I can't gush about any of it because it's all spoilery.
Rosemary finds herself tangled in yet another case to Asher's dismay. Through out discovering who Hope really is, she also learns a thing or two about herself. With each book it feels more and more like we're building to a heartbreaking bittersweet ending of the Rosemary and Asher duo. I mean I keep thinking with each book, this guy has to move on at some point, or does he?
The advancements in his own death investigation are also eye opening, but less informative than I would have hoped. While I was hoping Rosemary would get more out of her time at the spoiler, I'm glad it at least gave them a few answers.
In this book, we get to know more about how the ghosts operate, and explore more of Rosemary's ability. I really enjoy the fact that Rosemary's friend circle is becoming more and more live people, in the last book I was starting to feel a bit sad that all of her friends were dead.
You'll love this story if you're open to paranormal lite, and love stories that end with many of the characters having self growth.
"Dazed and Infused (Pebble Cove Teahouse #5)" by Eryn Scott and the previous book in the series have been more tv show "Ghost Whisperer" mixed with a teahouse cozy mystery. This one we get what sounds like a nice rose tea for the tea side. An amnesiac party girl and her mysteriously deceased friend washed up on Rosemary's beach for the mystery. Then a fairly newly dead prankster twenty something guy ghost for the ghost whisperer part.
With everything going on, it was really quite unclear who was really behind hurting the girls. Another one where the reveal as truly a reveal. I didn't mind though. It was still a good story.
Ghost side of things. Rosemary does her usual, find the good in the problem ghost. She helps him resolve is unfinished business. Asher's murder is STILL no closer to being solved. I'm ready for that story line to wrap up. He doesn't have to move on just yet, other ghosts haven't despite resolving initial unfinished business. I'll just have to see what happens in the next book.
It only took me 12 hours to finish Dazed and Infused by Eryn Scott! What a ride! I feel like so much happened in this book, especially with the continuing background story that weaves throughout the series. If you’re a fan of cozy mysteries, the A Pebble Cove Teahouse Mystery Series is not to be missed!
This installment was a bit different from the others since part of the story took place outside of Pebble Cove. Although I love the tight knit town, it was fun to read about the characters in the series exploring a new setting. I also may have teared up a bit when one character in particular was able to find closure.
Without going into too much detail, a new character was introduced that will be sticking around for a bit! I can’t wait to see how this person will impact the series going forward!
In the pages, you will find:
🫖A teahouse owner and amateur sleuth FMC 👻A handsome gentleman ghost bff 🎸The Portland music scene 🏚️A haunted Victorian house 🚫No spice 👋New characters ☕️Cozy small town vibes 📖Book 5 in the A Pebble Cove Teahouse Mystery Series
Dazed and infused brings us to summer time in Pebble cove. We move along the mystery of Asher’s death and find two girls on the sandy beach. I liked that some new things were happening for Rosemary. Obviously the murders aren’t new. But she finds herself on some new paths and new friends. This book works well in the series to move it along and bring on new characters. 4 starts because I liked it. The mystery works well and it helps progress the series. Looking forward to see what else may happen in pebble cove as we move towards the end of the series.
for Rosemary, the living were often more dangerous than the dead.
two young women washed ashore near her home/workplace leave Rosemary with more than one mystery- and maybe someone else who hears spirits
amnesia, ghosts with unfinished business, literally insane ghosts and some off the wall and some scary living people make for an exciting series of adventures for Rosemary and friends- living and dead
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the 5th book in the series. The story is enjoyable and the mystery is tough to figure out. But they still haven't solved who killed her friendly ghost, Asher
Amazon synopsis: Two women wash up on the beach in front of Rosemary’s tea shop. One is dead. The other is wounded and can’t even remember her name. Is she also a victim or the killer?

Amnesia Problem When it becomes clear that the only souls who can help solve this mystery are those of the ghostly persuasion, Rosemary has to get involved. She must identify the killer before they strike again. A girl is killed and her roommate has amnesia. Hope/Callie has amnesia and doesn't know what happened to her or the girl she was found with. I borrowed this book from Kindle Unlimited. This in no way affects my opinion of this book which I read and reviewed voluntarily.
This one got me teary. Rosemary has been living in Pebble Cove for over a year and is used to interacting with the ghosts/spirits in town. (This is book 5 in the series so I am used to Rosemary and the ghosts.) In this book, however, Rosie helps a ghost pass over to the other side... I hope that's vague enough to not be a spoiler... and the whole scene made me cry. It was so sweet.
Start at book 1 and read them all. They're so well written and the characters are so likeable. Very good series.
Another exciting mystery in the present while Rosemary is still working on the mystery surrounding Asher. Love finding out all about Asher. Callie is a very interesting addition in this book, with her special gift which is not quite like Rosemary's. Love how Rosemary worked hard to help Callie even though she had just met her. Lots of great twists and the chief and mom's romance heats up. Already started the next book.
I love reading this series. This book was no exception. I got the first book on bookbub. I found that I liked the series then. I love how Eryn has grown the characters and the story telling. She's building family as she writes this series. One of my favorites. Thanks Eryn for the great read. Can't wait to read the next book in this series.
