I'm not feeling any of this.
Not the chemistry, not the characters and definitely not the OTT instalove.

Plus, the girl was abused by men for many long years, her sister was beaten up to death 3 weeks prior and all she can think about are the ants in her pants and how much she wants Cross?
Bish, are you for real?

That ain't making sense to me.

Hence the rating and the DNF.

Isabella went through so much in her short life. And thank God Crux Malcolm finds her and takes care of her.

The hero is very much obsessed with the heroine since he first touch her arms and immediately says SHE'S MINE. WOW

Accidental Obsession by K.L. Donn is truly one emotional powerhouse read!! Full of feels,drama, angst, suspense, excitement, despair, and romance. Cross is an OTT Alpha who will have you swooning at his actions. He has been in love with Isabella for some time from afar and when she lands within his path and he is able to save her from her horrific situation then he does everything in his power to do so.
The chemistry between them is intense, the feels is amazing, the actions are extremely fantastic and the story is so delicious. I loved reading how Cross and Isabella came to be. Without going any further, this is a fantastic storyline. They are really meant for each other because their love is strong and true. We do get alittle hint of the next book- Crew's. I'm super excited for his book next!!!

Plot: Cross has been fascinated by Isabella for a while, but the first time he gets to really interact with her is when he saves her from her uncle. She was trapped in his barn; her uncle almost burned her alive. She ran and Cross found her. Now he wants to keep her, but more than that, he'll have to keep her alive and away from her uncle so that she can heal and hopefully fall in love.

Commentary: I really liked this one. Cross is not just possessive - he's obsessive (thus, the title). He thinks he's not like his little brother who went to jail for the woman he loves, but it turns out that he's exactly like that. I liked that Isabella, even though she was abused, wasn't broken and she could let Cross know what she needed. She loved him just as much as he loved her. I'm looking forward to reading the rest in the series.

A hot and possessive cowboy comes home to find his horse barn burned and then finds a beautiful girl near death and covered in soot. What is he to believe? When everyone around him is convinced she burned down the barn, he is certain she was on the run and he is right. He has seen her before and since seeing her in town he has been captivated and now that he has her in his home he is not letting her go. When he finds out she was running from her uncle and he was the one burned the barn trying to get to her, he is livid, but there is no proof. Soon, they are married to keep her safe but all is not smooth sailing. Hot and sexy and totally chemistry driven, this is a great story. I didn't read the first story in this series but was not lost but I will be reading the next one (and probably grabbing the first one too).

Accidental Obsession by K.L. Donn a five-star read that you will become obsessed with. This is the second novel in the Malcom Boys series and those Malcom boys just seem to be a different bread of men, bigger and stronger and just much more, so much more. Cross should be the man that you cross the street to avoid, he’s big and burly but he’s also strong and compassionate, he is just the man that Isabella needs in her life, almost like he was sent from an Angel. K.L. Donn has a great writing style and she really makes you feel a part of the story; she will make you smell the horse sweat and the smoke. She shows us that you can make of life what you can.

What a beautiful, emotional story!!

Those Malcolm boys are at it again, this time it's Cross Malcolm. Cross is a cattle rancher and the middle Malcolm brother. While he is at an auction with his crew of workers someone burns down his barn. When he finds Isabella in the woods behind the burned down barn, he knows she's in trouble. He has seen her in town a few times with her uncle and sister, but doesn't know a lot about her other than he is obsessed with her becoming his. With Isabella's past and her controlling uncle in the picture, will Cross get to have her as his own? This is an emotional read and an absolutely captivating story. I loved it and I highly recommend it!!!!

Holy smokes I thought I loved Crux Malcolm but good lord his brother Cross gave him a run for his money. Holy Cowboy!!!

I am OBSESSED with this series. There is nothing better than an over the top alpha male doing everything he can for the woman he loves. My absolute favorite type of book.

If you've read the first book you know that Crux Malcolm was over the top obsessed with Farren. (I think that was her name. My memory is horrid). But, Cross makes his brother look like a unicorn in comparison.

And, don't even get me started on the steam factor. Because let me tell you...

This author can write a sexy scene with the best of them, but this books slight BDSM took it way up and it was crazy hot. Like, I felt uncomfortable reading those parts with anyone else even in my home, hot.
I love how KL Donn gives us these alpha men and then these women who appear to be broken. But, my goodness, the amount of strength behind these broken women is incredible. I'm not sure I would have the fortitude to continue on if I went through what Isabella did.

Okay, so we know I loved the characters.

I can't say much... But, the storyline was FANTASTIC. KL had me drawn in from the very first word. I was on the edge of my seat THE WHOLE TIME. It constantly felt like something was going to happen on the next page... It was awesome.

EPILOGUE
So, without giving anything away, our sneaky author has given us a little sneak-peek of Crew's book. I for one, am very excited.

If you haven't read the first book go do that now. Not because you need to in order to fully enjoy this one, (even though book one characters will pop their heads in for a small while) but because you don't want to miss it. It really was fantastic and not a single soul should be deprived of the story that in Crux Malcolm.

Cross is willing to take on anything to save Bella from her uncle and keep her for himself . . . after all, he always gets what he wants.

Obsessive Addiction is book two in K.L. Donn’s Those Malcolm Boys series, but can easily be read as a standalone.

I absolutely adored Bella’s character. She is so strong and a natural born protector, willing to do anything for those she loves. I loved that while she is physically and emotionally broken, she isn’t beaten. She’s a fighter.

Cross is all alpha, but super caring towards Bella and vows to keep her safe, happy and loved from this point forward. He’s more like his brother Crux (book one) than he realized, and I loved that connection. I also loved how the author highlights just how much these brother’s have one another’s backs when they need it most.

This couple, especially Bella, doesn’t have an easy road to happiness, but I loved just how much both Bella and Cross are willing to fight for one another to find their happy ever after. 4 stars.

I gave this book are 4.2. This is the second book in the series, but my first by the author. The book is about the middle Malcom brother Cross and his neighbors niece Isabella. Let me start by saying, the overall the storyline was decent. Cross and Isabella have only seen each other from a distance, but from the first time their eyes meet, there is a connection. Cross is drawn to Isabella but she remains a mystery. Unfortunately when he finally get close enough to have her in his arms, the circumstances are not ideal. Cross becomes instantly protective of Isabella and knows she is the one for him. Isabella finally feels safe and has a place she can call home.

I feel this story has so much potential. There are many steamy scenes, but they could have been cut short in order to put more into the main storyline. I wanted to know what drives Cross, or what made Isabella want to stay strong? Or how did her uncle get away with so much far so long? Oh and where was the romance? There were several underlying things, that if expanded on, would have made the book five stars.

This book has insta-love and an HEA. It's a good quick read

I received this book in advance for a voluntary honest review. I’ve been begging for this book for months and I was not disappointed!! Cross Malcolm is a successful rancher in a small town. Isabella is under the care of her uncle who is a monster. He beats her and her sister and threatens to send them to a brothel. In her attempt to escape her uncle corners her in Cross’s barn that he quickly sets fire to. Finding Isabella in the woods behind his barn Cross immediately goes into action and full on alpha protector. Trying to save Isabella and proving that their relationship is real is Cross’s mission. When Isabella’s uncle demands her return Cross hatches a plan that will shock everyone. I love, love, loved this book! Like Crux Malcolm, Cross Malcolm is an intense, gorgeous man who loves and loves hard with everything he has. I can’t wait for Crew’s story! I would love to have a Malcolm brother all to myself.

Amazing! I knew from the glimpses of Cross that we got in the first Malcolm boys book that he was going to be my absolute favorite of the three and KL Donn didn't disappoint in the slightest with this book! Cross Malcolm has made an independent name for himself in the bull breeding world, but like his youngest brother Crux, when he finds the woman who shifts his world he will stop at nothing to make her his, give her the world and keep her safe. For Cross that woman is Isabella Sharp. To say that life has dealt a horribly unfair hand to her is the understatement to end all understatements, but with Cross in her corner it looks like that hand is being traded in for what she deserves. I was hooked from the first word until the last and loved the ride these two took me on to get to the end. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader copy of this book.

He saw her once and that was all it took. When he gets the chance to protect her his obsession becomes the air they breathe. Who is obsessed with whom? Why do the men in their family loose their minds when it comes to the women they love. It's like a switch is flipped and there is nothing, no limit they will stretch to protect them. She's lived a life of hell after her parents passed away and now she's had a taste of freedom. Giving it up may be the only way to protect the man she loves?? Obsesses over? All she knows is he is everything, now she has to decided if she will trust him enough to be the protector he claims to be.

Great story of the border line between love and obsession. Is there one? I love this author and the steamy characters. Great story that had me sitting on the edge of my seat telling the world to go away until the last page.

KL Donn has always been one of my top authors. Always. She writes with so much emotion and always includes that aloha that you fall in love with. She has written another masterpiece that will appeal to any romance reader. The way she has created these characters and this story was magical and a work of art. The obsession that cross has draws you in and makes you beg for more. I was obsessed with this book from the first word and didn’t put it down until I finished. Definitely one of my top reads!!

The journey to find what cross and Bella are looking for is one of twists, turns and a rollercoaster of emotion. They bother have been through a lot, and together they find they are stronger. They each lead each other to the right side and provide a place of comfort for the other. Throw in the alpha, over the top male that cross is and you have this masterpiece that KL Donn has created!!

Holy Moly! I laughed, I sighed, I cried and I cried and then I smiled and cried some more. This was so emotional and gut wrenching but had so much love and possession and the whole "she's mine" alphaness that I love. I love that Cross took control when Isabella told him to and boy, was that HOT! I loved seeing Crux and Farren in there and Crew again coming together to help Cross. So there's the sense of family and doing what they need for them. The way Krystal uses all the words has you sucked in to the story and you can picture everything as it's happening. It's hard not to feel all the emotions. This story has some more triggers like the first book but the heroine is strong even when she doesn't think she is.

Get ready to not move for the next couple of hours! You will not want to put this book down once you start it. From the first page you are drawn into the story of Cross and Isabella. They each have their own problems, and their worlds are about to collide big time. Cross is an alpha male to the max! Isabella has had such a hard life, and her problems are not over yet. There were not too many twists and turns in this one, but it will still keep you on the edge of your seat! I wanted to scream at both Bella and Cross at times. And then there were times I wanted to cry for poor Bella. I highly recommend you get this book, and put it at the top of your TBR pile!

Over-the-top is the word I’d use to describe this book, the characters and their actions (I’ve read my share of possessive men, I enjoy them, but this one was one of a kind…completely senseless), the story, the dialogues. I didn’t feel the “romance”, there wasn’t chemistry, even in the sex scenes.

Sorry but this soap-opera writing was a turn off. I don’t know how I finished it, though I have to admit I skipped a few pages at the end.

Accidental obsession is book two in the ‘’those Malcolm boys’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an action packed read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline gripping.
Isabella Sharp’s life is in danger. Needing to escape her evil uncle Curtis, Isabella makes a run for it but soon realises it isn’t going to be easy.
Cross Malcolm is a man that gets what he wants and what he wants is Isabella Sharp. When something happens on his land and he finds Isabella hiding, he is determined to protect her.
The chemistry between Cross and Isabella is clear to see and I liked them as a couple.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read.

WOW!!! This book makes you smile, shed tears, and want to punch someone. It was a page turner; you could not wait to find out what happens next.

Saying Bella had a rough life is an understatement. For being so young, she has lost so much. Trying to break free from traps she finds herself in almost causes her, her life.

Like a knight in shining cowboy boots, Cross, is there to help Bella gain her life back and protect her in any situation. He will do whatever it takes to make her his, forever.

As always, K.L. Donn brings excitement, angst and alpha males to all her books. Can’t wait for Crew!!!

Cross’s Obsession

KL knows exactly how I like my Alphas Possessive, Obsessive, and OTT. Cross, who was once thought to be the calmest of the Malcolm boys proves that he is just as Obsessive if not more than Crux was. KL took me through all of the feels with this one. Having Isabella go through so much hurt and pain before she can get to her HEA. But with the help of Cross, Bella his sparrow will finally get to spread her wings and have the life that she had always hoped and dreamed of. The road to happiness was not an easy one but with Cross and the other Malcolm boys behind her she finally finds her home. Love this series and I definitely can’t wait for Crews’s story.

So far this Malcom is my FAVORITE! He is dominate, loving, intense, amazing, and absolutely addicted to his Sparrow. Isbella has a haunting past of terrible things that have happened to her but in light of all that he spirit still shines bright. Cross is a downhome country cowboy with a heart gold and an obsession with Isabella that he wasn't even aware he had. These two go through some ups and down, hard times and unfortunate events before they get the happiness they both deserve. Also, in true KL fashion, the epilogue leaves you wanting more in the form of another Malcolm brother that hopefully we get sooner rather than later!!!!

Ever since Crux book came out I have been waiting for his brother and Cross definitely did not disappoint.
Cross and Isabella’s story is filled with romance, pain, abuse, love and devotion. Isabella has gone through hell and Cross is determined to help pull her out. I love how he never gave up on her in this story. You go on such an emotional ride with these two. Their love story is so good. Every obstacle put in their way just serves to make their bonds stronger. This is most definitely a must read. Cross and Isabella will make you fall in love with them. The passion, love and devotion in this story are just out of this world.
