Don't be fooled by the title, this book discusses a lot of practices that can be used in witchcraft, but are also used by other practices all over the world. Grounding, Meditation, and Visualization are practiced outside of witchcraft and are useful for your mental health no matter you beliefs. However, this book does talk about it in tandem with witchcraft, this book could be useful to anyone looking to get started in any of those things. Since witchcraft is in the title though there are a lot of other more magical elements to it including various self-care rituals. These rituals are great because they don't require a lot of materials, so even those of us who are feeling a little poor right now can practice.
Overall, I would recommend this book for people looking to a little magical self-care and peace of mind. The writing is funny and relatable. However, the author does state that these are not meant to replace therapy, they are meant to go along with it.
Thank you to Netgalley and Adams Media for an eARC of this book, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
