What do you get when a gargoyle, a druid, and a fire mage die? Apparently, three demons with the hots for an angel.

Yeah, I know, that was a terrible joke. The thing is, it isn't a joke. It's my life.

Three sexy-as-hell demons, with supernatural abilities, love me. An angel. The enemy who is charged with tossing them back to their realm.

Only, I'm no angel. Not anymore. I'm more some badass fighting against "the man" to right the wrongs of the world.

Well, maybe I'm not a badass, but my demons are. And with them by my side, we're going to overthrow a corrupt ruler and restore the immortals to their thrones.

Piece of cake, right?

Man, I hope so. Because if we fail... well, we better not.

What do we do when we have a spare one and a half hour and already planned which book to read tomorrow? We look for a nice Lacey Carter Andersen to fit in! Luckily I got this ARC last week already and I knew that, just like the previous book, it wouldn't be a very long read. It turned out that I was absolutely right. I started reading this book after work and I finished before my online Zumba class started. Partly because I enjoyed it so much.

Not that rarely second books are fillers. The first book built the word and introduced us to the characters, the third book will be the big finale and the second book is literally the in between. However, in this case this second book is just as interesting, and maybe even more interesting, than the first book. Not only because our heroes have two very interesting tasks they have to complete, but also because this is where the relationships are built.

In the previous books the boys constantly had to remind themselves that their girl didn't remember them. For her they were total strangers, even though they knew her better then she knew herself. In this book they start to see her for who she is now, for what she has to offer now, for the new person she has become after everything that has happened to her. And that's the most important ingredient to make this fragile relationship work again.

Apart from that every character also has their own personal issues to deal with. I really love how we get all their point of views and therefore really know what's going through their heads. It helps to grow attached to the characters and to understand why they do what they do and why they react the way they react. It also helps to keep the story interesting. The plot is already interesting, but adding interesting characters on top of it, makes this book even more amazing!

Book 2 in the series and it picks up right where we left off in book 1. Usually, the middle book becomes a filler, but not in this series! There is more action and more twists in this sequel than you can predict and it is awesome!!

Surcy still can’t remember her men, but she is getting closer to them and feelings are growing for sure. Mark is using the God Finder more often and with every use, it’s slowly draining his life force. It is a race against time to gather all the Immortals so they can overthrow Caine. It seems like once they get past one struggle they are pushed back two steps thought. The demons find out that Surcy isn’t as untouchable as they all thought, and the worst part is she doesn’t even know it.

With great attention to detail, you are whisked away to other worlds that make you get lost in the story. The book itself is not very long, like book 1, but that doesn’t mean there is a shortage of content. The action ramps up as does the steam and the plot thickens. This book will leave you on the edge of your seat and needing the next book ASAP!!

More problems arise in book 2 as Surcy & the guys - Tristan, Mark & Daniel is struggle to save as many immortals as they can. Only for Caine and his gang of Angels there at every turn. Mixed into that are Surcy's difficulties with her memories and her tentative relationship with the guys. A big secret about Surcy and Caine threatened to put a block on the trust thats building between them. My god that ending though??? It was knockout! Im loving this series so much and i cant wait for the next book

Immortal truths is the second book in the An Angel and Her Demons series. This story picks up from the Supernatural Lies and cannot be read as a standalone. I'm so loving where this is headed. There's so much more action and extra steamy this book. I am legit screaming at this cliffhanger! Why?!?!?!?😭😭😭

I received an ARC and voluntarily gave my honest opinion and review

This instalment packed quite a punch. There was a lot of action that left me wondering whether these guys would get a break. Surcy really had her work cut out trying to stop Caine and rediscover herself . For a short instalment, Anderson knows how to entertain and I really hope the third instalment will tie up everything after she left us the way she did

Just wow

Immortal truths picks up without missing a beat, and just wow. I thought the first one was amazing, but dang this one was a roller-coaster of emotions compared to it. We get to know more about our guys, have them build their relationships again with Surcy oh and save the world. I am loving this series

Surcy is back with her three demons. She is still struggling with the loss of her memories, her wings, and who she was before. Her demons are struggling as well. They wish to be with her but the loss of her memories is hitting them hard, but the war goes on with or without them. They must find the Immortals before Caine can destroy them or else all is lost.
Immortal Truths by Lacey Carter Andersen is book two in her An Angel and her Demons series. I appreciate how the author gives us background on one of Surcy’s demons. It’s informative and heartbreaking at the same time. The storyline is engaging from beginning to end. There are surprising moments, steamy situations, and moments that will truly break your heart. This book is well balanced with the different things that the author brings to the storyline.
There isn’t much that I don’t like about this story, but there are a couple things that I did find annoying or out of line. I have to admit that I am annoyed/disappointed in Surcy. Her instincts on more than one occasion signal to her that something is off, but every time but one she chooses to ignore them. I’d think that by the second time at least that she would start to listen to her instincts instead of choosing to ignore them again and again. Another time is when one of her demons is scolding her for something she can’t help. I get that they want her to remember how things once were, but since she doesn’t it’s on them to be understand and not act like spoiled children or act like she’s in the wrong for something she can’t control.
All in all, I truly enjoyed this story and it was definitely hard to put down. I like that this story has some twists and surprises in it that the reader won’t see coming. I’m eager to read the next book in this series. Despite my complaints about this story I am rating this book 4.5 out of 5 stars. If you have read this series up to this point I highly recommend that you pick this book up and dive in, but be prepared for anything!

Screaming skiddles scooby! Lacey unleashes one helluva storm with this tough as nails on point bombshell, blasting through on gale force winds, kicking up dust and dropping foes, testing our characters in ways they could have never envisioned, jetting this hot little number to new heights. Difficulty and mayhem descend in a flurry of skilled maneuvers and clever strategy, sketchy lines and busted boundaries solidify as limitations are amplified and tested, reaching deep for every ounce of strength in a fierce surge of determination, propelling this bad boy to life spectacularly. Rushing headlong into unfamiliar territory full of gripping drama, turbulent intrigue, escalating danger, nailbiting suspense and intense encounters converge, revealing the perilous struggles and formidable triumphs as the deadly twists and wicked turns unfold, confiding secrets, unearthing revelations and declaring promises, wrapping this gem up sleek, shiny and tight. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating a majestic backdrop so rich and lively it feels as though you're part of the story instead of on the sidelines, feeling everything the characters feel. Remarkable job Lacey, thanks for sharing this awesome little gem with us.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "IMMORTALS TRUTH"
WOW!!!! What an adventure this story takes you on full of mystery, suspense, intrigue, angst, passion, action, intense danger, twist that make for one awesome page turner.
Surcy, Mark, Daniel & Tristan continue on their mission to find more IMMORTALS they've saved all but three left in this story they'll be the hardest to get to.
Tristan tells Surcy about Daniel being a fire mage when they met he was addicted to the fire his life was horrible he just wanted someone to truly love him he felt she was being cruel to Daniel your heart went out to him seeing him in a different light.
When they go to save the Dragons they take them back to Sacred Island to regain their strength & heal the Angels arrive when they destroy them all it Summer the gold Dragon who tells them they may love Surcy but can't trust her she's an unwilling spy for Caine.
I definitely recommend to get this fantastically well written book that has you on the edge of your seat page after page so much happens the shocking ending will blow you away I so can't wait for the next book "LOVERS WRATH"

Fast-pacing and dramatic second book in Surcy's story.
The race against Caine to save the immortals and restore balance continues at full speed, but at a high cost that Daniel, Tristan, and Surcy do not realize. The success of their quest is constantly threatened by the angels and Caine's interference - after all, he seems to have the ace in his sleeve..
There is building tension in the story, as the plot develops and the complications pile up. The reader cannot be resistant to the emotions driving the characters, picking them up as if they were their own. I feel sorry for Surcy, for what Caine is putting her through, but I believe and hope she and her love for her dear men will defeat the evil. The relationships are also not always straightforward, the bond between Surcy and Daniel seems to be broken, yet understanding could help much, even if memories are missing. After the ending, I want to see the conclusion very soon.

Banished for know too much, our heroine now seeks to make things right, but she is going to need some allies to make that happen.

This is book two of the series. I recommend starting at the beginning.

This is an urban fantasy story featuring angels and demons as well as a reverse harem. The story is well written and easy to read with a complex setting and a well developed cast of characters. The characters are particularly intriguing as they have unique characteristics, strengths and weaknesses which definitely keeps things interesting. The plot moves along at a good pace and features several twists and turns that keep you guessing as to what comes next right up until the very end. Overall, it was a very enjoyable story.

Highly recommended

Book two starts off where book one left off and wow things really are starting to come to a head for Surcy and her men. She still doesn't remember who she was, but she is definitely learning who she is now. Two of the guys still won't show her the attention she is craving, but one definitely will even if he won't tell her exactly what it is doing to him.

The group definitely has some moments that will leave your heart racing as the suspense increases and you end up on a rollercoaster journey. The author left that on one hell of a cliffhanger again, my poor, poor heart couldn't take what happened and I need to know more about what is gonna happen to a certain character so bring on book three.

There were so many emotions and feelings in this second book. And Damn but we got to learn so many more things. And this is definitely setting up for something epic in the next book. This was a rollercoaster of emotions that had me feeling so many different things. I did not want it to end and I need the next book! I need to know what’s going to happen next. I loved the relationship building that went on in this book and the great character development. The tasks these characters had to do were so interesting and I wasn’t sure if they were going to accomplish them or if it would all crash and burn. The multiple POVs definitely help with getting to know Jesse characters and seeing their growth. I can’t wait for the next book!

Surcy is having a hard time dealing with her lose of memory and wings. Surcy is helping the men find the Immortals. They have saved so many, but they must save them all. Surcy ends up hurting on her men with her actions. She will have to realize what she is doing. Her men hear information about Surcy that breaks their hearts, they must decide what to do. One might lose themselves in order to stop Caine.

This was a really good book. You will see how Surcy is trying to navigate her way without her guiderails. There will be some really great moments in this book. The ending will have you wanting more.

Lacey Carter Andersen just gets better and better with each book that I read from her and this series is no different. I enjoyed this book even better than book one, it kicks off right where book one finished and we get more in-depth with the characters. They all know each other in this book instead of learning each other like in the previous book. I really enjoyed reading the multiple POVs and really getting to know the characters on each individual level...this really helps the reader become connected with each of the MCs and want to come back and read more and more. I cannot wait to see what happens next from this exciting and compelling world.

A great set up for the coming battle

Surcy, an Angel secretly fighting for the rebellion, is caught without her demon husbands, Daniel, Mark, and Tristan, in Caine’s clutches with damaging consequences. As the story progresses their mission changes, a sanctuary is compromised, and if they do not figure out what is wrong soon there may be no hope for the future. Lacey Carter Andersen’s Immortal Truths is a great set up for the coming battle with the Angels that aren’t Angels.

I read this book with my Kindle Unlimited subscription and I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.

A fantastic paranormal reverse harem series that keeps getting better. The gripping story in book two is filled with mystery, intrigue, action, mystery, adventure, secrets, betrayal, drama, romance, sizzling sexy scenes and plenty of twists including another final shocking twist in the fabulous cliffhanger ending. Very well written, diverse characters with amazingly strong chemistry and a magically captivating storyline.

Lacey Carter Andersen is still a creative genius, I thoroughly enjoyed book one and two, now I cannot wait to find out what happens next in this series.

Alright, so this second book in the series picks up with even more action and intensity. It also tugs at your emotions even more. It’s gripping, and heart wrenching, but also has tender moments, and heartfelt scenes. This book will bring you on the full tour of emotional range, and leave you desperate for more. Poor Surcy is an emotional wreck after everything she’s gone through. And that’s only what she can remember. But she’s not sure if the missing pieces are more painful for her, or her demons. I’m eager to find out what happens in the next book.

I read the series that came before this one Her Demons Lovers and I remember that we saw Surcy from this series in that one. She is an angel and since her memory is gone she is trying to figure things out. It comes to her demons attentions that she is a spy unknown to herself. They have to make difficult decisions without telling her so she can’t give them away. I love all of Lacey’s books and this one is no different. This is the second book in the series.

Things really heat up in everyway in this second book of the series. I did really enjoy it more than the first book and really got into the story. We have hot sex scenes, the race to locate and save the immortals hots up, there is so much action and twists you dont see coming my head was spinning! The ending really did me in though, I nearly cried. I am waiting with great anticipation for the final book. War is coming, and revenge is sweet and Surcy, Daniel and Tristan will be hellbent on revenge. Cain better watch his back.....

This sequel had me on the edge of my seat wanting to know what was going to happen next. By the end of the work I was biting my nails trying to come up with how they were going to be able to solve everything that was going on. It was great getting to see the characters grow more and find out more of their back story. I’m hooked and can’t wait for the next to come out.

I give this a four out of five stars.

Wow, this piece of the story is intense! Surcy still can’t remember her men and the lost memories, but her feelings for her three demons, Tristian, Mark and Daniel, are growing as they continue to try and save all of the immortals and go after Caine. Caine is of course doing everything possible to stop them.

The action here is non-stop and the love is deepening among Surcy and her demons. The reader’s emotions are tugged in many directions, and the twists and turns keep ramping up the danger. You won’t want to miss this one!

A supernaturally, action packed read. Filled with the quest of all quests in order to save the souls of every being on earth. Surcy and her demons continue their search, and learn a few shocking revelations along the way. Filled with action galore, mystery, steamy moments, and a desire to make the world balanced once more... Our heroes go through immense trials and pain for the sake of everyone else. This book ends with a cliffhanger, so prepare yourself. However I look forward to seeing where the follow up book will take us. A fun, exciting read that will leave you captivated to the end!!

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.

Things are getting interesting for Surcy and her guys by this point. She still has no memories and they are remarkably frustrated by that I must say as it is causing some issues between them all. While trying to deal with that they still have to find the other Immortals even if it may kill one of them before they do. Full of surprises and emotional highs and lows. I cannot wait to see what happens next! Great for fans of paranormal reverse harem novels. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.

This book picks up almost immediately where the last leaves off and contains some pretty twisted turns in it. The ending is killer and had me yelling at it because I didn't want it to end. Surcy and her guys are working to try to get the rest of the Immortals to safety, but time and circumstances are stacked against them. Caine needs to die painfully, and I hope that happens soon. I cannot wait to see what happens next.

As Mark's strength and life force are slowly eaten away by the demands of the GodFinder, Surcy struggles to reconnect with her Demons and find her way in life without wings. If only she could clear away the residual taint in her mind and rid them all of Caine's dark presence. Before the fight is over one will fall and many will be lost - how can they save themselves, let alone the world when there is a spy lurking in their midst?

Action, twists and romance abound in this exciting read

Well, things continue at an intense pace and we find that Surcy still doesn't have her memories back. This doesn't stop her for fighting for what's right, though. Expect a ton of action, and some fab romance, as these interesting characters continue on with their quest to save all the immortals. Good fun! Now to wait for the next installment because I'm on the edge with this ending ;)

Now the boys know what Caine is planning and how he is using Surcy, how will they proceed with their plans now. This book broke into the feelings and emotions that all the men had for Surcy and what she had for them.
